The Players Klub - 9 Months in - shady business

I started with TPK back in January as a budget IPTV option. Their pricing was competitive at $5 and then $4 for each additional stream.

I mostly watched US channels and I would say that roughly 20% of the time a channel I wanted to watch would be down or doing some odd buffering repeat thing but for the price what do you expect.

The image quality was usually quite good when it worked and they have a custom APK which can be nice to use compared to the normal perfect player customization that most companies use.

Their online support team are quick to answer your questions and issues however usually it's lip service in terms of actually fixing/changing anything and that's lead to my biggest issue with them.

One of the strangest things with their payment is that you cannot pre pay or setup credit to pay your account you have to wait for an invoice to come every month then you have a few days to pay it or your account gets shut off.

Having to make a manual payment every month is kind of annoying to say the least however usually the worst that happens if you miss a payment is you just buy the service again.

The shady part of this business is that they recently upped their prices to $8 and $7 per additional stream. That alone isn't such a big issue as how they did it at least to me.

This is a pretty hefty bump but they did allow those on the previous pricing to stay on that pricing as long as they kept their accounts active.

I ran into an issue with this a few months after the pricing change... one month I did not receive an invoice. I checked on user account and it showed all invoiced paid and up to date but a week after I should have received an invoice nothing.

Then my service got shut off.

Ok I figure I will go order new service... but they have deleted my entire mintpanel account and with it access to the old pricing.

So they did not give me an option to pay, then cut me off for non payment and forced me into the higher price bracket.

I reached out to their customer support who responded very quickly but always with run around answers that basically said "our pricing changed, if you missed a payment you are on the higher pricing" and would never respond directly to my statements that I could not keep my account active because they didn't send me an invoice to do so and that's the only way to pay.

I have a filter on my gmail setup to set their invoices to high priority and forward it to my secondary email account so I absolutely won't miss it. It's worked for 9 months so I am sure there was no invoice sent and a search of my inbox shows that there was no invoice sent.

I sent screenshots and explanations to them but all they would do is tell me how missing payments results in cancellation of service and I should check my account for the communications about payments (which I can't because they deleted my account and I know there was no communication in there since I logged in a few weeks ago and it said all was paid and up to date).

So in the end I have to give these guys a thumbs down for their shady practices. If this was truly just an error that happened to me its unfortunate but their failure to look into it and help get it sorted is a black mark.

If they are doing this to flush users out of the old pricing that's pretty scummy.

Overall at the old pricing where I could get 3 streams for $13 it was worth dealing with their unreliable streams and lackluster CS however their new pricing is not nearly as tempting and I feel they way they handled this issue means I recommend staying away... the price no longer supports the lack of quality and it just seems like a shady business.

EDIT - Basically support won't help me resolve the problem but they decided it's important to follow up one last time and ask why it took me so long to report the issue (my last invoice was Sept and my service was cut off sometime in the last 3 weeks). The fact I don't log into my IPTV for a few weeks to notice it isn't working is a pretty lame thing to have to defend when they didn't send me an invoice and then deleted my mintpanel with all it's email history so I can't even prove they didn't.

Not just shady, insulting...

EDIT 2: Geez they can't let it go, they keep responding to the ticket explaining how if I had addressed their failure to send out an invoice within 3 days maybe they could have helped... So they have a failure in their system and blame the customer for not addressing their failure faster. Petty on top of bad service.

Stick

My brother in law sent me the info for this service. He had some good things to say, so I grabbed a trial a few weeks ago. Wanted to share my experience to date.

Setup - They had been on a homemade website (what looked to be Godaddy) and there was a ton of information on the web page. At first the offerings were a bit confusing but they explained things pretty well. They offer 2 services. One of the services had 3 variations (Gold, platinum, and Works). I believe the breakdown is Gold is UK, Canada and America. Platinum (which I have) is those plus international. The only difference with the third one from what I have is that it has adult. The other separate service is called dynamite. Looks cheaper from what I have but I have not tried it. When I first ordered it was through the old site. They have since moved into a typical IPTV site. Most of their information is now behind their firewall. Probably accessible with a trial. Anyway, they sent me and 2 links; one for m3u and one for EPG. Pretty standard. Just plug them into your program.

Channels - American Channels seem strong. I am from a smaller town now living overseas and they had a couple of my local channels so I can watch the news. No EPG for the local channels but I only watch for the news and I know what time it is on. Looks like 400 or so local channels. The other dynamite service apparently has 300 with an EPG. Most American channels have several feeds and are in many groups. Not sure if I like that there are so many groups but the channels looks great. I always test but looking at the scroll at the bottom of a news channel. Very smooth. NFL and NBA both look great.

Website - Like I mentioned, typical site we see nowadays - http://portal.stick-Services.com. Seems like a small operation though and looks like they are closing public subscriptions soon.

They have a Smarters app. They claim it can hold account info for both services without entering a portal. I tried it for my one service and it was fine. I prefer perfect player.

Service - They respond pretty quickly. One main guy was on Reddit but sent an email saying they were “lowering their profile.” Seems to be the case as most info is now only accessible if you log in.

So far so good. Wish they could consolidate channel groups on the Platinum group, but will take the trade-off with a decent EPG and excellent streams.

VOD - It is there but I have never used it.

They seem to be trying to make a go of it and I’ve enjoyed it so far.

EDIT - I’ve watched the last 3 fights on the MMA card without a buffer.

A few IPTV reviews

Been a sub to gorilla tv for the past couple weeks. Has multiple Apks for different ways to view it. Lots of channels and has the classic setup. Left of page is live tv, middle is epg and movies. Thousands of channels. Dedicated us, Canada, sports, movies and various country channels. Most channels in HD and some in HD. There are some channels that are down but it's the same for every service I've tried. 24/7 movie and TV section and decent vod selection. Don't really use this for vod, or recorded shows. Only downfall that I've found is that channel changing may be a bit slow and the occasional buffering. The guy that runs it is quick to answer emails and questions you may have. Price is good for me, 2 connections for $11 usd.

Apollo tv group. Took a free trial and would give them a try if gorilla dies. Channel switching is quite fast and buffering was few and far between. Channels are a bit lacking though. 100+ us channels but no dedicated movie channel. Vod section is quite robust though with a lot of the latest movies. Epg needs some work. Price is 15 for 4 connections.

Both solid choices imo.

Myiptvnow.com is exactly like settv. Possible fork or even same guy. They use their service through nora go app. Channel surfing was basically instant like a regular cable service probably the most reliable service that I tried. Trialed for 2 days and not 1 instance of buffering. Downfall is cost is 24.99 cad but you get 4 or 5 connections I think and channels were limited exactly like Settv. But their vod selection for movies and tv shows are spot on like terrarium was. I didn’t go with them due to high cost and lack of local channels but if you don’t mind that and looking for stability they are a must try in my books.

I first started Iptv with set tv and used them until they went belly up.

Went to Vaders after cuz that’s what everyone did. Stuck with Vader’s until last month. Vaders started ok but went continuously downhill for a while. Couldn’t log on continuos buffering lots of sd channels and not much Canadian content. They kept updating their apk though and sometimes it was worse sometimes it was better. But I’ll have to admit the last couple weeks was getting better, less buffering but still some. Picture quality was getting better also. The HD channels were very clear compared to the ones listed above. Notable difference especially when watching dark scenes of the walking dead. But my decision was made and it was time to part ways.

I’ve tried a bunch of other trials but these are the only ones that I liked. Not here to bash services.

If anyone wants me to review their service pm me a trial. I’ll only review if I think it’s good.

Warning about Helix.

I did a trial and then a month’s subscription with them. I entered 2 different emails in total when ordering.

INSTANTLY after entering my email I started receiving junk mail. So how do I know it’s them? Because I started getting junk mail from them right after subscribing and it’s the same damn email to the two different accounts. What makes it worse? There’s no way to block or unsub from the mailing list because they keep sending junk from different email addresses.

Then I renewed on one of the emails and now get 2 of the same spam emails in one mailbox. It’s bullshit. They send junk 2-4 times a damn day. Really shitty thing to do to their customers. It has honestly really put me off from them. Now I’m stuck with this spam mail and if I renew again, even more junk will start coming.

Positive IPTV Review - Helix

Website: 6/10 - I found their website to be easy to navigate. Their setup guides are all grouped together, and the channel list was easy enough to find. The only real complaint I have is the packages contents. The UK and the US/CA and Single Packages but the Double Package and the Triple Package was really silly. It’s 1 great Britain pound extra for adult channels. Really just lump them in to the Double and call it a day.

Channels: 8/10 - I’m more than happy with the channel line-up. My review is from a very US-centric perspective, so take that for what you will. I have all the US channels I could want. There is much channel duplication which is nice when one goes down you can find the same one in another category. Sadly it can create a mess of a channel list. I use the Helix App and the favorites channel is a life saver. A cool thing is they have all the channel icons.

Picture Quality: 7/10 – Main USA channels are impressive. High quality with I’m paying about $12/mon for a lot of channels mixed 720 1080 quality, I accept that as I’m not paying Time Warner $120/mo.

Reliability: 6/10 – This one is hard to judge. I do follow their twitter. https://twitter.com/HostHlx

I get their updates but they post all these issues.. if I was watching 24/7 I would be bothered but it’s worked for me when I needed.. I wonder if this page does them a disservice.. a new customer may think they are down most of the time. The truth is they are up and works great 99% of the time. I know IPTV goes down ones in a while. They are much better than a few services I came from.

Note: They were 100% perfect for the McGregor/Kabib fight.

EPG: 7/10 – They have EPG for US / UK and CA. US movie channels seem to be hit or miss with EPG but it is something I see with the US Movies, I think their sources might pull these movie channels from CA and they in US EPG.

Set-Up: 10/10. I’ve tried a handful of sources and setting up with Helix is easy. Once I paid I get an email. I use Fire DL to load the app to the Firestick and I am good to go.

Support: 8/10 Twitter and tickets is all you get with Helix. Twitter only used for announcements. They do not respond on twitter.. No forums, discord, telegram or chat. Tickets is all you from them. Response time is 2-3 hours on average. Responses is relatively helpful. When I asked about why no chat.. they mention they need a person to handle and manage. I been in chats for other providers and chats can get nasty especially when there is service issues. So far they been fair and nice to deal with.

Overall, I’d give Helix a solid 8/10. For what I’m getting, I’m perfectly fine with what I’m spending. Perhaps there is a better provider out there, but I’m not going to bother trying to find it, because, why? Their service could only possibly be marginally better but Helix seems to fit the bill for now. Hopefully they stay that way.

Root Hosting Service Review!

Root Hosting Service: The service of Root Hosting is going to be reviewed today. It is an IPTV service that is providing different channels around the world with different languages. On can avail the opportunity on different devices. Without any doubt, channels choice is huge. For customer satisfaction the service is also providing 6 hr trial so one can be pleased with IPTV. Before becoming their client, I actually took the trial period that exquisite my expectation and made me wow to purchase the 3 months

Root Hosting subscription package. Selection of Channels: There are more than 1200 channels. The quality of channels is without any doubt is versatile in HD. It is like a Pandora box of channels with different languages. Entertainment and sport channels are compatible to watch. The range of channels are not restricted to US, UK, CA but more from Asian countries, China, Russia, Japan and many more. Therefore this range of channels has amused me and for this I would remark root hosting 9/10 for channels options. There are also subcategories for the sport channels that are updated regularly for better convenience of their clients.

Quality of image: In 6 hr of trial period I recognized the quality of picture is amazing for which I would like to rate them 9/10. The picture quality is also one of the reason that compelled me to buy 3 months subscription package. The channels that belongs to US and UK are somehow clearer more in HD but if we evaluate quality purpose of all channels they are also fab. The stream supports android services, MAG, Enigma2, Apple devices iOS and more from the same provider. However I have also downloaded the root’s own app for my android app and it works great. So I think if you are reading my review than you should go for a free trial as it will definitely please you.

Buffering speed: Well the speed of Root Hosting service is good and for this I will give them again 9/10 because as I haven’t faced any issue yet regarding buffering. Sometimes the channel take seconds to load and I think this cannot be related to issue. This kind of problem most of the time happens with channels of FHD, rarely on specific occasions. However, I have seen many shows regarding sports such as NBA and EPL without getting struck in streaming. Therefore, the loading of the channels are not too slow and are pretty much reliable in speed as one cannot force it as an issue.

Conclusion: I have paid my premium prices for the subscription of 3 months packages and as far as I am a happy client. Overall I would rate them 9/10 for their services. I obliged their service when I took the free trial for the first time that further forced me to take the premium package according to my affordability without any hesitation. Their services are very fabulous and speedy so I would recommend everyone here to give it a try. At the end, thank you for taking out the time to read my review. This will definitely help you if you are looking for honest writing regarding the service.

Proton IPTV Review

Well, I've been using Proton IPTV for a few months now. I was tired of EpicStreams always having problems and was complaining to a co-worker about it. He told me he had a friend who knew someone who sold Ghostware boxes and put in in touch with him. I guess I knew a guy who knew a guy who knew a guy. I'm cool.

Anyway, long story short, a few degrees of separation later the Ghostware box guy returned my text and told me there is one and only one IPTV service he has used for the past 5 years and will ever use. He said it was the most stable he had ever come across and he knew of a lot of them. But, he couldn't put me in touch with the guy who operates it, he would only put me in touch with a reseller. They keep a very low profile and don't even have a website. Everything is done by word of mouth and this has kept them out of the spotlight and safe from the plagues that some of the well known providers face (I assumed he was talking about legal battles but looking back I think he meant lag and stability issues).

I was intrigued. I contacted the reseller... Proton Television (proton.television@gmail.com). I had a response within 10 minutes. He set me up with a free trial. Instantly I was blown away and 3 hours into the trial I signed up for a month. The Ghostware guy told me to do myself a favor and just sign up for a year but I'm cautious about that and I wasn't going to blindly follow some guy who sells Android boxes just because he said so.

Anyway...I signed up 2 connections for a year as soon as that month expired and I haven't looked back.

So the review...

Stability: 10/10. Never have had an issue at all. There are hiccups like any streaming service, but the guy who runs the servers makes it his life's mission to only offer stable channels. If it's not 100% stable, he will not put it up. Aside from a small issue during the transition from prelims to the main card last night for the McGregor fight which was rectified within 10 minutes, the most extreme peak traffic I can imagine went off without a hitch, no buffering, no lagging, no problems, it was like I'd ordered the event in 1080p through a cable company.

Channel Selection: 8.5/10. Most of the important stuff is here. If it's not, there's a reason for it and they're working on finding a way to find a stable source for it. I've seen a ton of channels added in the few months I've been with them. I've seen some channels removed because they were unreliable and then readded and they worked perfectly. I don't need to talk about sports packages and all that, they're all there like most providers, but on Sundays you would expect some issues with it being football day. No buffering, no lagging, everything is there, picture clarity is great, it's just beautiful. Tons of Canadian, USA, UK channels, a few international channels, tons of VOD content .. All the latest movies, including some still in theatres.

EPG: 10/10. Hands down, the most complete, accurate, cleanest EPG there is. All other IPTV providers should strive to have something even close to this. Nothing touches it. Not exaggerating. It's near flawless.

Speed: 10/10. Select channel, channel begins playing faster than my old cable provider. Nearly instant.

Picture Quality: 8.5/10. Most everything is HD but there are a few Canadian channels that are SD (eg Sportsnet Ontario) but Sportsnet East shows the exact same thing and is fully HD. I use a 65" 4k Samsung TV that can be very unforgiving if it isn't a high quality picture. For example, my last IPTV provider had terrible streams and the picture looked horribly pixelated even though they were boasting about HD streams. Not so with Proton. Crystal clear, unless it's SD and then it's clearly marked SD and usually has an HD counterpart. For example, most sports games have both an HD and SD stream, I suppose in case you have a slower internet speed or if the HD stream is unstable, which it never is. No complaints here at all.

Pricing is very reasonable. Not sure if they would approve of me posting it publicly or not so I won't, but it is not unreasonable at all and right on par with most other services I've seen. Considering the insane stability, they could ask for more but don't.

Customer Service: 15/10. Fast responses, friendly, patient, communicative... Honestly feel a loyalty to them because if this alone.

Overall: 9.9/10. Will not ever use another provider but then unless they ever shut down. They have ruined all other providers for me.

I really can't say enough about them. I have no idea how so few people know about them, other than that they've purposely stayed on the down low.

I hope I don't sound like a salesman here. I suggested to him that he try to tap into Reddit to gain some more subscribers. He agreed and did, and word seems to be spreading about them... But I know they don't want to get too big or too popular and have to deal with those "big fish" issues like Vaders and others deal with.

Anyway, for that reason I wanted to shine a spotlight on them because I feel they deserve it. Check them out. As far as I know the only way to contact them is through email or on Reddit now (/u/ProtonTelevision).

Hope this review was detailed and informative enough. I don't recommend anything I don't completely stand behind and I recommend these guys with 100% confidence.

Yet Another Vaders Review

So...here is my story. It's been about 2 months now since I have decided to try out the IPTV stuff.

I did some searching and found a vaders reseller.

I initially started off with Kodi and the simple PVR client. It worked really well. Vaders also has a great web app which works pretty well too.

Support(9)

The support that I joined (telegram chat) is unbelievable. These guys take abuse that they shouldn't have to take. It's pretty amazing to think about the quality and quickness of support in comparison to Roger/Bell etc. They answered questions patiently, and were helpful. Wish they would have been more proactive with the mag change.

After a week of using this IPTV service, I decided to buy two formuler z7+ devices. Since they arrived, we haven't looked back.

Vaders Up and Downs(Stability)(6)

Vaders is not the most stable service. I think that they go down about 3 or 4 times a week for an hour or so. They've never been down for an entire day, but in the last 2 months, they have been down very often. My reseller actually gave me two weeks of free service due to the instability. Now, when I say that they're down, they might actually be up! Vaders offers so many ways to watch, that if one route isn't working, you need to check another. The mag portal is in beta. It suddenly changed with no warning from the /c route to the mag.vaders.com portal. Since it has switched to beta, the instability with the mac route has been to the point of unacceptable. I did watch some MMA PPV's without any issue, or need to switch channels.

Lucikly, I'm somebody who likes to experiment, so I already had perfect player going. It is more stable than Mag at this point for sure!My gut feeling in regards to stability is that they are constantly changing so much in order to improve stability, that they are reducing stability. Further to that, I feel like they pick "non-busy" times to reboot servers or upgrade because they're facing a fight on EPL 3pm kickff, and NFL Sundays.I've heard from others that Vaders goes through phases with stability. I think we're in a negative stage, and hopefully we get something better soon.Features(10)

Vaders offers every way imaginable to connect. M3u, MAG, Kodi, web player..... Catchup for sports! I was able to watch a Buffalo Bills game the next day after missing it. This is great! TV Catchup is wide reaching, and works nicely most of the time. The VOD is "rebooting" and some catalog items are missing. It's still quite large. Matchcenter is great for sports, but the matchcenter epg within perfect player is not good.Value(9)

With Vaders, you get the ability to watch 5 streams at the same time. Not many services come close to that. I feel that it's something that needs to be looked at because I think that it's stressing the stability of the system due to account sharing. I'd be ok if they moved it to 1 IP or 2IP's from the 3 or even down to 3 connections. The pricing of $15 (US) per month can't really support this I don't feel

Conclusion

Vaders is the biggest player in the IPTV world. It's a great service that I would recommend to people who are ok at changing settings, and playing around. I would never recommend to somebody that they cut their cable service and then switch to Vaders. The reliability would let them down, and the sudden mag portal switch would cause many non tech-savy folks to give up. I would never recommend to anybody to have just 1 service, but if you do, don't make that service Vaders. I think the number 1 rule of IPTV is have a backup!I don't want to be super negative because Vaders is needed in the IPTV world. They constantly push the envelope on development, and provide a wide-ranging service with many different options to connect. For me, I believe I'll keep Vaders around for a while yet. I currently have 3 subs, and Vaders is my "Features" service. The other 2 are no-frills that I keep for stability.

EDIT on Oct 20...
So since my post, not much has changed as far as stability.

I have heard that they are not accepting new subs, which might go a little ways to improving what I perceive to be over load issues during heavy periods.

Once nice thing is the ability to add more than 1 mac to an account. For people like me with a formuler device, this is amazing.

Only bad part..... the epg STILL doesn't work on mag. Seems like they're working hard on it, and the service goes down pretty regularly as a result.

looking for iptv service now that flawless has cut its service off

i have 3 dreamlink boxes all in the same house that im looking to have service on. i just got quoted $40 per month which is really high considering flawless and ace both charged for the 1 sub then added an additional 15 euros for each additional box for their 6 month package. at $40 im paying for 3 individual services so that isnt ideal. does anyone know a service that will provide the same setup and pricing under the $100 mark for 6 months like flawless and ace did? im only interested in us and uk channels so i dont need sports or adult stuff. VOD is nice too but if its the decidin factor i can live without it.

Vader.store: Stay Away!

I've been actively looking for a good iptv provider for a few weeks now. Throughout my search, I kept hearing things about Vader and how it had everything you could ever need. Being a newbie, I went to Vader.store that someone had linked me and tried using a trial. Trial was pretty good tbh but it wasn't anything great, the cool part about Vader was that it had a lot more international channels than it's competitors. After the trial I end up buying a month of service since I couldn't find anything better.

This is where everything went downhill. When I started using my month, most of the channels that worked previously were constantly buffering. Some channels would not even load. When I tried contacting support, I was mostly ignored. The dude that was happy to help me a couple weeks back now won't even respond to my complaints. Btw I contacted the seller the same day of creating the account. Still haven't gotten a response back.

Anyways, I wanted to warn everyone about these scammers. Rest is up to you.

SupTv ordered through TV Service Club - Bit Media Services

This is my first time writing a review and it is a bit different than most. I cannot actually review the service as it hasn't been activated.

I ordered late Sunday night UK time. I saw this on the website :

"Please note the setups are manually processed - this may take anywhere from 1 hour to 24 hours, we appreciate your patience"

I thought that it was unusual to actually take any service to take 24 hours so went ahead and ordered. 24 hours later no activation so I used the Discord link in my confirmation mail to see if I could speed things up. I immediately saw a number of posts with the same complaint as myself. The admins or mods responded in chat with comments like it is being processed etc. One comment was don't worry the subscription won't be booked as running until it is actually activated. (how absolutely wonderful of them) There was also advice to open a ticket even though they provided Discord. Ok, I thought, so I opened a ticket.

Almost 24 hours later the ticket hasn't been responded to.

Almost 48 hours later and the service STILL hasn't been activated. Went to Discord channel again before writing this review and was told by a"VIP" user : "that's just the way it is bro. These tickets have to be manually activated. Sometimes they get sorted right away and other times much longer. It all comes down to workload for the given week."

So my honest opinion at the moment is I would steer clear of TV Service Club - Bit Media Services and SupTv in particular.
Maybe I will give daily updates on how long it takes them to activate my subscription.

UPDATE

The person who runs TV Service club got in touch with me on Discord last night, seems the SUPTV guy is having serious issues with servers and DDOS attacks.

Anyway "Owner" gave me a free trial of another service and has refunded my money. I can't complain about that.

Pretty stand up thing to do in my opinion so I won't say stay away from TV Service Club as my issue has been dealt with satisfactorily. Thank you for that.

So, in short, I am now a happy bunny again.

Area 51 IPTV - NO BT Sport Channels

Since yesterday (19th September 2018) Area 51 no longer has BT Sport 1 & 2 streams. So no Champions League soccer available.

If you are going to buy a subscription be aware.

EpicStreams is bad now. My review.

I subscribed to EpicStreams for 3 months through the tdshost reseller. I used the STBemu apk on an android box. The first three months were fine. A nice selection of HD channels and not too much buffering. So I subscribed for another 3 months. Since then the reseller has changed the portal URL 4 times. I have been having problems connecting to the portal. The channels are buffering much more now but worst of all: SKY AND BT SPORTS ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE! Apparently they might never be coming back. Considering I mainly watch sports that's a deal breaker for me.

If you are looking for a premium IPTV service look somewhere else.

Helix iptv Review

What with all the conflicting views of Helix iptv on, I thought I would do an honest review from my perspective, after having it for a few weeks. I was a long time FAB user(and before that mania), and after that went belly up it was time to find a new provider, so after trying the trial, thought I would give Helix a try.

Basicaly I just needed a good provider for sports, mainly Prem footy,Rugby League, NFL and the PPV Boxing and a good catch up service.

Ive got the £6 package, which is uk, us and canadian channels.

Firstly it was easy to pay for and easy enough to set up, which is always good!

Good selection of sports channels and have always been able to connect with no problems(so far). Regarding the footy, I have had no problems really, i dont watch every game anyway(just my team), and always been able to find a stable stream. I usually just find a channel its on and watch it via there, rather then through the dedicated section, as i find it better quality on the USA/Canadian channels and less likely to go down in my experience. I understand people have been having problems, but as i said it has honestly been fine for me so far. As I said I dont watch every prem game, but have dipped in to a few others and they have seemed to be fine aswell...I dont need a VPN either.

As for other sports, Rugby League has been superb quality(again tend to watch it on non uk channels) and the NFL was a bit hit and miss. Managed to watch the Dolphins game Sun, but trying the other games out, there did seem to be a LOT of buffering etc, which hopefully will be sorted out? I couldnt get the game in HD, but swapped over to SD link and it worked fine, with no buffering at all. Praps I was just lucky, cos i know a lot of people were complaining about the other games!

Overall quality of the streams has been good, esp the American channels, but perhaps not as good overall as FAB was. Sky channels quality isnt as good, but I hear that is a problem whoever you are with?

With regards to the catch up channels, it is the usual hit and miss im afraid. Has most of the uk sports channels and a few American ones, so its ok, but dosent have the same amount as FAB or Mania did. Quality wise, a couple of times I have used it and it has been fine but other times it has been a buffering, looping mess...so cant rely on it 100%, but realise this is a bonus so......

The EPG is ok and does the job and have had no problems so far. Im not one of those who gets excited about EPG anyway, but as I said it seems to do the job! The Kodi add on on the other hand, has not been so good. Was ok when i first installed it, but then it just vanished!! The actual add on is there but it just comes up blank? Have reinstalled, but dosent solve the problem, so bear this in mind if you really want this.

Regarding support, I have only sent a ticket once and that was reagarding the Kodi add on. Was answered promptly and politely. Only minus point, was i basicaly told to use the APK and that the Kodi add on was unstable....so not much help really!

Reagarding the non sports channels, again have dipped in and out and have seemed to work ok...although i am not on it 24/7.

Overall I would recommend Helix if your looking for a cheap service as has been pretty good for me so far. Would I renew again? Yes.

Paid for 12 months with King-box IPTV, only received 6 months

I wanted to share my experience with King-box IPTV. I emailled them 6 months ago requesting a test line for my kodibuntu box. I was happy with the test line, and as such paid for 6 months subscription. Unfortunately, due to a mix-up on my own side, I sent the paypal payment as a payment as not as a gift. As such, they refunded me the amount. Due to a second mix-up on my/paypals side, I send the payment then as an e-cheque. This would not clear for a week. As such, I send a third payment as a normal gift payment and received the channels. After describing the situation to a understandably confused King-box, they agreed to credit my account for the two payments (12 months) when the e-cheque went through.

Overall, the service was great, no noticible freezing. The EPG they sent was flakey, I ended up having to use a 3rd party. However, I was delighted with the service.

However, after the 6 months, my connection to King-box was closed. As I had given them screenshots of the proof of payments and they had assured me of the 12 months subscription, I was suprised to have it cut out. I emailled them a number of times when it happend but they have not responded to me once. It appears that they have taken the payment for the 6 months but will not give me the channels in return or respond to my emails.

As such, I am very disappointed with their service and would ask anyone considering them to be wary of giving them payment.
