Root Hosting Service: The service of Root Hosting is going to be reviewed today. It is an IPTV service that is providing different channels around the world with different languages. On can avail the opportunity on different devices. Without any doubt, channels choice is huge. For customer satisfaction the service is also providing 6 hr trial so one can be pleased with IPTV. Before becoming their client, I actually took the trial period that exquisite my expectation and made me wow to purchase the 3 months

Root Hosting subscription package. Selection of Channels: There are more than 1200 channels. The quality of channels is without any doubt is versatile in HD. It is like a Pandora box of channels with different languages. Entertainment and sport channels are compatible to watch. The range of channels are not restricted to US, UK, CA but more from Asian countries, China, Russia, Japan and many more. Therefore this range of channels has amused me and for this I would remark root hosting 9/10 for channels options. There are also subcategories for the sport channels that are updated regularly for better convenience of their clients.

Quality of image: In 6 hr of trial period I recognized the quality of picture is amazing for which I would like to rate them 9/10. The picture quality is also one of the reason that compelled me to buy 3 months subscription package. The channels that belongs to US and UK are somehow clearer more in HD but if we evaluate quality purpose of all channels they are also fab. The stream supports android services, MAG, Enigma2, Apple devices iOS and more from the same provider. However I have also downloaded the root’s own app for my android app and it works great. So I think if you are reading my review than you should go for a free trial as it will definitely please you.

Buffering speed: Well the speed of Root Hosting service is good and for this I will give them again 9/10 because as I haven’t faced any issue yet regarding buffering. Sometimes the channel take seconds to load and I think this cannot be related to issue. This kind of problem most of the time happens with channels of FHD, rarely on specific occasions. However, I have seen many shows regarding sports such as NBA and EPL without getting struck in streaming. Therefore, the loading of the channels are not too slow and are pretty much reliable in speed as one cannot force it as an issue.

Conclusion: I have paid my premium prices for the subscription of 3 months packages and as far as I am a happy client. Overall I would rate them 9/10 for their services. I obliged their service when I took the free trial for the first time that further forced me to take the premium package according to my affordability without any hesitation. Their services are very fabulous and speedy so I would recommend everyone here to give it a try. At the end, thank you for taking out the time to read my review. This will definitely help you if you are looking for honest writing regarding the service.

I just tried this service and so far am experiencing the opposite, constant buffering basically unwatchable, every channel is buffering every couple seconds and I'm hardwired with a 50mbps connection.

After using this service for about two weeks I'm having the exact opposite experience. Channels are consistently failing and buffering but when I raise the issue with them, they insist it's an issue on my side, despite being connected via ethernet on a verified 76Mbps connection. Customer service is shocking and they're trying to postpone refunding me. Stay away.

Just signed up for £1 for 24 hours. It’s my first IPTV and I’m impressed so far. Wish there was a way to hide certain countries that don’t interest me

I also did a 24 hour trial. I was able to set things up and watch a champions league game. Unfortunately, I was unable to test extensively. I currently have 3 other services and not too much free time. I may have to circle back around.

So far so good, ordered a trial last night. Tested today, most of the channels are HD, quality is good but channel switching is a bit slower as compared to other providers. Contacted support few times and they always respnded promptly.
60-70 % channels are UK based. They also have alomst all US and Canadaian channels including News , entertainment and sports. Few Australian channels and around 20 Indian/Pak channels. VOD has limited collection, no 24/7 channels. Ended up ordering for 6 months. They accept PayPal, credit card and crypto.

I got the 24 trial, overall for the price you can't complain, setup had few issues, had to raise a ticket for it to get sorted but it only took an hour.

Channels categories and listings need some tiding up as they are bit all over the place and not in order which is annoying.

Not much VOD or catch up.

Plenty of HD, only issue I found was with Sly Sports news HD not working but the SD did, ok backup provider I would say and they accept paypal.

Any questions about Root fire them over, VOD is only small at the moment due to a new takeover but VOD is being added everyday and requests taken, we provide, MLB,NFL,NBA etc. Give us a try you won’t be disappointed

I tried their service but had a lot of issues with buffering most times of the day.

I switched Helix and only during very peak times do I have any issues with Buffering.

Service has gotten really bad lately, I'd advise to look elsewhere. Bad bad buffering makes impossible to watch anything.

Ooh Boy, just tested their trial and I am sold. Been all freaking weekend looking for a service with UK and USA channels to supplement my PT channel list and the search might be over. I said might as i'll try it again tomorrow during peak time, mainland China that is.

Was wondering if anyone using Root Hosting has/had been able to access catch-up features via either Perfect Player or the IPTV Simple Client in Kodi?

I've been using the service for a few days and so far I've not been able to access any catch-up programs. No options are available in either player. The only way I've been able to find them is by installing the Root Hosting add-on in Kodi and digging thru the catch-up folder. Even then the shows don't align with what I select. It seems to be a 5-6 hr difference between what I select in catch-up and what gets shown...

So far the live streaming service has been great, no complaints at all, but one of my main requirements is the catch-up feature for UK TV.

I've submitted a few questions to the help desk but so far I've not been given definitive instructions on how to access catch-up channels on either PP or Simple client. I've been told to look for the clock icon (none exist) and to install the Root Hosting player. Finally I was told that they are working hard on adding recorded content, but I know the content is already there, i've viewed it. I'm not questioning that, I just want access to it from the player.

Anyone have success with either of these 2 players?

Yeah no, I've had their service for about a week and got a refund from them after the trial period. Channels going down and epg not working were some os the issues I was having Definitely a no no!

Just like to add to this, I’ve only had it a short period but I’m impressed, great catchup section so many channels with 5 day catchup. Fast loading times of channels, no buffering so far. I’ve had other providers with more on VoD but judging by previous comments that said there wasn’t any it would seem they are adding it. Channel logos and a decent epg. I’m impressed so far
