Warning about Helix.

I did a trial and then a month’s subscription with them. I entered 2 different emails in total when ordering.

INSTANTLY after entering my email I started receiving junk mail. So how do I know it’s them? Because I started getting junk mail from them right after subscribing and it’s the same damn email to the two different accounts. What makes it worse? There’s no way to block or unsub from the mailing list because they keep sending junk from different email addresses.

Then I renewed on one of the emails and now get 2 of the same spam emails in one mailbox. It’s bullshit. They send junk 2-4 times a damn day. Really shitty thing to do to their customers. It has honestly really put me off from them. Now I’m stuck with this spam mail and if I renew again, even more junk will start coming.

Ive been an avid helix supporter. Not one email from them. I even had to contact support for my password email. Thankfully you can find it under active service.

I know this is an older thread but I want to share a couple of strategies here if you use gmail.

Gmail ignores periods in email addresses. So when signing up, you can put a period somewhere in the address to see if they are sending you junk. From gmail point of view, firstnamelastname@gmail.com and firstname.lastname@gmail.com are same person.

More interestingly, gmail ignores everything after the "+" sign in a valid address. For example, yourname@gmail.com and yourname+Helix@gmail.com will both get email to you. This way you can easily track you is spamming you, and can do email filtering (for example always signup with yourname+iptv@gmail.com and then filter emails that come to that email into its own folder.

I have never received any type of spam or junk mail from them. I signed up through helixhosting.ninja Been with them for about 4 months. Have you put a ticket in to try and resolve this with them?
