Sub $10/monthly IPTV Providers (US Content Preferred)

I am really cheap. I want good service IPTV for a low price. Some of you will say best price != best service. I agree.. but I want serviceable quality at a lowest price.

I spent the last couple weeks trying to locate inexpensive IPTV providers with a a good amount of US content.

Here is what I been able to find so far.

REMOVED:

VCarib TV Abusive to customers ($5/month to month)

Can anyone add to this list?

Voodoo IPTV review. My first 24 hours.

For this review I am using a Dreamlink T1.

Pros:

  • Large selection of channels
  • Good amount of "HD" content
  • Speedy channel switches
  • Very good timeshift. Goes back 24? hours and many channels has it.

Cons:

  • Channel organization is horrendous
  • Too many duplicate channels
  • EPG is slow to populate and missing info on 1-2 out of every 5 channels
  • Some seriously bad picture quality on a few channels.
  • VOD movies appear stretched
  • Number of down channels

Overall:

I might be nitpicking with the EPG but I really did not like the amount of channels that weren't being populated at all. I mean, I can understand a few here or there missing but the amount I was seeing on the T1 was glaring. Also dissapointing was the amount of down channels. Again, I understand that it comes with the territory of IPTV but the amount of channels I couldn't view also struck me as too many.

I'll be passing on Voodoo next month and looking for something else or just going back to old reliable IPGuys.

RapidIPTV Review

Note: Rapidiptv has channels from multiple European countries. This quick FAQ (review) will only be covering UK and US channels as that's what I primarily use the service for.

My Connection: 100mbps Down, 10mbps up on Amazon Fire TV via Kodi add-on, and Samsung Smart TV via Smart IPTV app.

Q: How Long have I been using the service? A: 1 month ( of a 3 months sub.) Q: How's the picture quality? A: Good, Most of the channels are streamed in 720p. Q: How reliable/stable are the channel streams? A: It depends. I've noticed that most UK channels seem to stream without a hitch but the several US channels seem to suffer from various issues ranging from being offline to massive buffering, freezing and stuttering. Major Offenders are ESPN 1, Cartoon network, SYFY, and comedy central. Also, Buffering seems to be prominent between 5pm PST to 7:00 pm PST on most US channels during these hours. Buffering is also highly likely to occur on US channels airing sports games. Q: Do they offer PPV, NFL Sunday Ticket, NBA League pass? A: No. (If they do, I haven't been able to find any.) Q: Can you have multiple simultaneous streams? A: No. You can have multiple devices, but can only have one active stream at a time. Q: Do they have VOD? A: Yes. VOD is available for various countries. Q: Is the service easy to setup? A: yes. I'm a novice to the iptv scene and I was able to setup the service on my smart tv and fire tv fairly quickly. Q: How is their customer support? A: They have good customer support, if you have any question or problems they try to answer you as soon as possible. Though sometimes you may have to wait up to 24hrs for a reply. Note: they have a support forum at their website where you can get immediate help from other members or admins. Q: Would I recommend Rapidiptv? A: Yes, but only if you're looking for UK/European content.

Overall Impressions: Rapidiptv is a great service if you're looking for UK content. Their servers are stable, and their customer service responds within reasonable time if you have issues. During peak hours you may experience blackouts/ buffering while watching. If you're looking for US content or US sports channels you may want to look elsewhere as many of these channels suffer from unavailability and buffering at random intervals or during sporting events. Also, there's no NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL league passes nor PPV events.

I really like Rapidiptv but will be moving on to a different provider because they didn't provide what I'm looking for (US channels + Sports.)

Final Verdict: 3 out of 5 Stars. (4 stars for UK content.)

Rocket/NFPS/IKS66 Review

This service takes the cake for confusing people on what to order and why they have three services. I will let the secret out. Rocket/NFPS/IKS66 is the exact same service. Why they hell would they give it a different name? So from what I gather IKS66 (aka IPTV66 is the name given to month subscribers. NFPS/Rocket is a yearly subscription. Obvious these guys do not have a marketing degree. You gain more brand recognition if you do not confuse people.

So far... the price though a reseller on ebay is amazing $4 a month (PM me for link). So which service did I sign up for? That would be IKS66.

I use STB emulator and during the first day 80% of all the channels did not work. I was not happy. It turned out I need to send the device ID. Once that was fixed.. the service is actually pretty good.

The channel list is here. http://iptvtalk.org/showthread.php?24569-IPTV-Channel-List-Official

The quality is pretty good. No skips and no buffering. Good selection of channels.

The organization is not too great. They have categories by topic of Culture, entertainment, information, Science, Children.. which are good categories but they mix all the langugages in there! Not thrilled with this.

Most IPTV services do not have user group support... but a good thing about this is server is there is a decent active user community here. http://iptvtalk.org/ when crap hits the fan it is nice to know others are suffering with you.

With this service you can move the service from one device to another. Rocket/NFPS/IKS66 allows you to change MAC addresses.

HOWEVER, Rocket/NFPS/IKS66 requires a login and a password. You have to do this when your mac address. This is kind of a pain for me since I move from firestick to another.... i wish they get rid of it.

Great prices via reseller on ebay, good quality streams, bad organization by language, good support.

iptvsubs review

iptvsubs offers an easy way to get a free trial at their website. Sign up and they instantly give you a trial. https://www.iptvsubs.is/ The layout of the channel groups is logical and makes sense. No weird naming for channels. It seems nicely thought out. Streams of HD as we all know are not full HD but completely watchable. Some channels did lock up but nothing egregious. I used an STB emulator on a Firestick. If you want Chinese channels, IPTVSUBS has Fairchild, TVB and CCTV. iptvsubs is good and worth it.

Flawless IPTV - an honest review

Ok folks. First time poster, long time reader, so go easy on me.

I have been in the IPTV world for about a year now and have had services with quite a few of the big subs out there. Here's a quick list: Ruya Iptvexpress Joytv Flawless

I use a mag254 attached to LAN so, I'll lay that out there as a basis of my review.

I just recently started hearing good things about Flawless. They have a Facebook page, and it started to get some buzz, plus a name like flawless indicates quality and stability

Channel Selection A great selection of sports channels, all in HD and some with backups just in case. I've watched through a few of the U.K. Sports channels and the quality has been excellent. Very good indeed. I would say it's as good as Ruya for sports HD quality, which before this was the best I'd seen. There are also SD and HD version of most of the U.K. Channels including movies and documentary and PPV. A smattering of USA channels which I am guessing are gleamed from a different supplier but all were stable and the quality was good too. If you are Canadian, fear not they have Canadian channels including sports.

GUI Standard MAG GUI with a green theme. The channels are very well organized into groups by country and content. This is very handy

Cons: One of the reasons I use the MAG is that on some services you can record to their server or time shift back through the guide on certain channels. joytv is great for this, and Ruya has a proprietary catch-up that mainly covers the major U.K. Channels and sports.

Synopsis: If you are looking for sports, HD in a good quality and reliability. You should look at giving the team at Flawless a try.
