Problem with Helix, looking for alternatives

Hello there,

Although Helix support has been extremely diligent (10 / 10), providing fast and detailed response, unfortunately their service has not been particularly reliable for me. I'd like to point out that I only require Latin channels, since I'm from Colombia; however their Latin feed freezes every now and then. I'm not sure what to do at this point.

My connection is wired / ethernet; and I have 300mb premium bandwidth. So I'm confident my connection should be more than enough.

I wonder if you know of any good IPTV provider for Latin Channels?

Regards.

Dark Media - one week in

I'm a Vaders refugee after several years. Signed on for Dark Media trial and subscribed within the 4 hour trial period. Virtually instant authorization for renewal. Great communication. Service is steady. Couple of minor hiccups but volume of new customers and necessary maintenance were at fault. All in all happy so far.

Homeless Vader Streams user looking for a new IPTV...HELP!

So as you all know, Vader’s is dead. I’m looking for recommendations for a new IPTV. And please IPTV resellers, don’t spam me with your “best deal”. I’m just looking to gather some honest feedback of users with different IPTV’s. My dream IPTV has US/CAN/UK Channels, VOD, and Premium Sports (I’m a huge NFL fan). Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks again !

EDIT So far I appreciate all the feedback, it is really helping out. I forgot to mention that I also need EPG access, as I use the iPlay TV app on the Apple TV for my EPG streaming.

My Latest Strategy (now that Vader is gone)

So, several months ago I posted a strategy that worked great for me involving Beast, Vader, and Nitro. With Vader going away and Nitro going to shit, I have adopted a new strategy that is working well for me.

To remind you from last time, I am not in this to save money. I am in this to be able to watch every US sports match that I might desire, in 60fps and FHD/HD,with minimal issues. Additionally, I want all of my cable channels and premiums (for the wife mostly). And I need a little catchup, particularly for MSNBC.

So, my new mix looks like this:

  1. Beast. Still the best. Yes they've had some issues in the last month, but overall it is solid and beautiful picture. My reseller is u/jcast356 and he is an incredibly diligent and honest person.

  2. Xstreamz. This is Crystal Clear rebranded and sold by u/bozz07022. I just get the US /CAN version. Mostly amazing pictures and good stability. Additionally, they have catchup for quite a few channels.

  3. Jarvis. This is another very solid, great picture service with quite a few backup channels. Another really good reddit reseller, u/jarvis912 is wonderful to work with.

  4. Helix. I use this one for Regionals (they have a bunch of uncommon ones, backups (like 4 espn feeds), and Catchup (extensive and quick to post). They only take bitcoin so it's a little (very little) more difficult. I buy off their official web site.

This is probably over kill for some of you, but it suits me very well!

For what it's worth, here is a list of providers that I've tried and dumped due to bad picture, bad service, or buffering / uptime issues:

Eternal, Area51, Beams, Gears, Twisted, TNT, Epicstreams and Global Entertainment.

Brute IPTV review of Beast and Crystal

I've been using Brute IPTV since January as a provider for Beast IPTV and about a month ago I was able to get a package deal with Beast + Crystal. I have been using Beast primarily for US sports (NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, MMA). They allow 3 connections so I can use it on my living room TV and bedroom and also cell phone. Beast had a great VOD section but they removed it. About a month ago I signed up for Crystal to help with VOD. Crystal has an amazing VOD section and it supplemented it for me perfectly. The EPG on Beast is good but the EPG on Crystal is great.

If I have streaming issues with sports on Beast usually I can find the event on a backup channel. For instance NBA Playoffs are usually on TNT and if there is buffering I have many options like TNT East, TNT West, Canada TNT, TSN (canada sports), and NBA channels. But having Crystal as a backup makes me feel okay with hosting PPV MMA events and having friends over without fear of too much embarassment. GF has access to Bravo TV and a few other channels so it keeps her happy.

The customer support has been great. Mostly I email them but they respond on reddit too. They accept crypto which is a must for me. I setup my parents and a friend on with Brute and was able to get great pricing on a package deal with multiple providers. Not sure if this is something they do normally.

Gears review from a novice

I'm one of the many people who was recently affected by the shutdown of vaderstreams. Over the last couple of days I've tried quite a few different IPTV services, so I figured I would leave a review of a few that I thought we're Worthy.

I will say right up front, that I am not an IPTV expert. I'm also not a user that expects a hundred frames per second or full HD picture. as long as the picture is clear and stable I'm good to go.

Gears actually was not even on my radar. I had landed on a different site for an IPTV reseller and noticed that there was a live chat function. I explained what had happened with Vader's and asked if the service for that site had the features I was looking for.

at that point he suggested that I tried gears, which I did. He had me all set up and watching TV in about 25 minutes or so.

http://iwantgearstv.com

I signed up for gears with the guide and it cost me about $20 I think.

PROS:

Design and layout: one of the reasons that I stayed with vaderstreams for so long was that it was so easy to navigate and everything was so well organized and easy to find.

So far, I'm having a similar experience with gears. Everything is laid out in a very organized way which makes everything very easy to find.

Picture quality: as I mentioned earlier I'm not one of those people that expects for HD or 60 or 80 frames per second on every channel. As long as the picture is clear and there is little or no buffering I'm pretty much good to go.

So far, I've used five or six different channels and they've all been clear and they've had zero buffering

GUIDE: they used something called Mayfair, which is very easy to use and a scroll through. so far I found all the different listings to be accurate and labeled as they should be.

CATEGORIES: many of the services that I've sampled just kind of have a long list of channels that you have to scroll through endlessly to try to find the channel you're looking for. With gears they offer different categories such as movies, news, sports, documentaries, etc which makes finding what you want to watch a million times easier.

Catch-up: from what I can see they offer a catch-up service for quite a few channels. If I'm not mistaken there were probably 400 channels that offered catch up. This is something many other services did not offer.

Customer Service: the reseller I used to get set up was very responsive and answered all my questions not only completely but in a very timely manner. This is also something that many other services lac. Once they have your money they are pretty much done.

CONS:

Price: from what I've seen, it is definitely one of the more expensive services. I think I paid $20 and that got me the guide and one connection. For me though, it doesn't really matter. I'd rather pay the $20, and have a service that works and is easy to use than to pay $10 for one that's a little sketchy.

Upcoming Events and PPV: one of the things that I like most about vaderstreams, was that I could wake up on a Saturday morning check out the match center and it would list out all the sporting events and pay-per-views that we're going to be on for the next day or two, what time they came on and what channel they would be shown

There is an events and pay-per-view section, but I have not been able to find a way for it to list future events. With as popular as the match centre was in vaderstreams I'm really surprised that other IPTV sellers haven't done something similar.

CatchUp: I listed this as a pro up above, but there is a downside. They offer the catch-up service on four or five hundred channels I believe and you just have to scroll through all of them to try to find the channel you're looking for. It would be nice if you could divide these channels by categories the same way you can in the guide to make it easier to find the channel you want.

Maybe this review will help other novices and beginners like myself that are looking for a first or a new service.

Edited to fix some spelling errors caused by speech to text.

Also, I'm running gears on a shield AND for resellers, please do not bombard my messages with offers. I've already spent over $100 on subscriptions the last 2 days and from what I can see many services are getting their channels from the same places.

TVX1 because let's face it, Vaders had been slacking for months

I started using http://TVX1.com about a month ago because I realized the issues I was having with Vaders wasn't just on my end despite their insistence.

This subreddit and the poor reviews for Vaders is what made me realize and start looking for another provider.

I tried several different ones, all the ones that offered a free trial of 24 hours or more. My two biggest things I wanted in a provider were obviously flawless bufferless streams even during peak times. This factor alone whittled down about half of my list.

Then to get the best of the best, I wanted a provider that would respond quickly to any issues I may have had. So I made up issues to mail them about and see how they walk through it and how much effort they would put into actually trying to help me. Pretty devious, I know, but it's an important thing for a long term customer like me.

Now it wasn't all just for me since I'm sharing my experience. TVX1 was the shining star in this regard. Everyone else would take 4-24 hours to respond, even if they had replied 2 minutes before. TVX1 seemed to be sitting their waiting on my reply about the made up issue.

Maybe it's because they're somewhat small scale still, that they're able to provide such awesome one on one service, but if they're able to keep up this level of customer service I will be around for quite a while. This could also be advantageous because I see a lot of the bigger sites being targeted by law enforcement now.

So in my book at least, http://tvx1.com gets a 9.5/10. With them offering a 3 day free trial, it's definitely worth a try.

Beast TV **8.5/10** Three Month Review

##Disclaimer:

I was not solicited nor paid to leave this review. You can view my post history to verify my account. Also take anything I say with a grain of salt, because this review is based off my personal taste. In the end try as many providers as you want before purchasing a sub.

#Beast IPTV Three Month Review

##EPG

Literally yesterday night, they posted they're finally working on their EPG, but this was the biggest con of the service. Majority of the channels had "no information" as the description. With premium channels they were often mislabeled as well. I hope this is fixed with the new epg they're rolling out.

This was annoying, but I ended up using xtream-editor to use their EPG sources. While it took forever to manually fix all the EPG sources to match Xtream-editor, it was worth it. Now I have program information for 95% of the channels, still some mislabeled stuff though.

##Lineup
I only really watch UK & US channels, as well as local channels. I made the switch to Beast IPTV because they have a crap ton of local channels, including ones for my location. This so far, is what sets them apart from the rest that I've tried. No other provider had all or my local affiliates. All I wanted was my local channels again, as I live too far away from the signals coming from the stations. Tried so many different antennas and just couldn't grab my local news stations.

I tried various other IPTV providers, and non of them had my local channels to the scale Beast IPTV has. Downside of local channels, even with an epg editor, is no EPG guide information for them.

They have a huge collection of channels in general, I just had to fix the EPG as mentioned earlier for the channels I really watch.

I don't like when providers label the channel with the prefix of "US:" or "UK:" as I like to combine all my favorites to one list in alphabetical order. Again, more time spent editing the EPG/Playlist names to fix this. Once it was fixed, I have the perfect lineup with a pretty solid EPG and channel logo setup.

They have a ton of channels, for a lot of countries, but I really can't say much about that as I only stick to two regions.

I absolutely hate that by default they include XXX crap. I have that disabled, but it's just crappy having that display on the screen when you're browsing from the start. In my opinion if you want XXX shit, go to pornhub.

##24/7 Channels

Massive collection of 24/7 streams. Hands down, the biggest collection I've encountered. Again, I spent a solid hour attaching EPG logos to each 24/7 I wanted, and removed the rest from my playlist.

I'd say 85% reliability overall for working 24/7 channels. A couple channels are out of sync, or audio is muted for certain episodes. Overall great 24/7 section, after I modified it to my liking in xtreme editor.

##Buffering
This and the local channels is why I switched to Beast IPTV. I have a shield, and 400Mbs connection. More than enough to handle any stream. I'll get the occasional buffer, but nothing like I experienced with other providers.

For MMA fights they add a crap ton of extra sources as well to spread the strain on the server, and prevent buffering.

The only real negative I experienced related to buffering, was the premiere of GOT on HBO, but Beast IPTV and my backup provider both experienced buffering for the premiere. So I don't blame them for that.

##Customer Service
I'm not going to provide the name of my re-seller, but they have excellent response times. I hate that I cannot change my login password, but it's not the end of the world.

The main/official Beast IPTV chat has some very defensive admins, but overall they respond to questions quickly.

##APK
Standard APK and personally dislike the APK, it's the standard layout of a majority of providers. It's clean enough to use, but again I'm picky and hate when the use prefixes for regional channels, so I always edit then to remove "US:" "UK:" so I can sort alphabetically. To be fair, this is standard for every provider I've used, so if you're like me find an epg editor service you like, and take the time to edit and filter your playlists. I probably put two hours in to fixing logos and epg sources for the channels I prefer, and it was definitely worth it.

I just use TIVIMATE, but the only downside is TIVIMATE doesn't store your playlist/epg settings in a cloud, even with premium. So I still haven't taken the time to move my customized stuff to another box in the house. TIVIMATE has a solid clean layout, and I personally prefer it over PP.

##NO VOD
Which should be the damn standard. If you want to watch shows or movies, get another APK like cinema, or TVzion, or any other of the hundreds of APKs. Vader got shut down because they thought their service needed VOD. It was their downfall.

#Overall 8.5/10
Beast IPTV is a solid service, that still needs many tweaks. Nothing TIVIMATE/PP cannot fix though (as well as an epg editor, and a couple hours of free time perfecting it).

I hope they make a proprietary APK in the future, but until then I'll stick to TIVIMATE.

They are finally addressing their EPG source, but as of this morning it's a shit show with 99% of the channels showing "no information" while they roll out the EPG update. (Again invest your time and work with an EPG editor platform)

Tons of my favorite channels, minimal buffering or channel issues, and for main events, they come prepared by having extra channels added the day of.

I suggest always having a backup though, because no service is completely immune to downtime and buffering.

This is just my opinion of course, for my personal wants from a provider. They have a customer for life, or as long as they stay open.

Hope this helps people. You can Google Beast IPTV and find a re-seller that provides a trial, I was sold after the trial and tested out a 3 month package, and I was not disappointed.

###Update:

I typed this originally on my phone, cleaned it up on my laptop with proper formatting.

###Clarification:
/u/Allrounder1234
When I mentioned 24/7 Channels and using Xtreme-Editor for the EPG, I can understand how this created some confusion. I simply used Xtreme-Editor to add Show/Movie Posters to the channels. No other information could be added. Overall though, adding the posters just makes the playlist look cleaner in TIVIMATE.

Here are some example pictures, I just go in my custom 24/7 playlist and set it to movies. Then I just copy and pasted the Poster URL & IMDB ID. It took a while, but the results are pretty kickass:

www.PriseTV.com review

Been using www.PriseTV.com for a few months now and I love it. They recently made a website for their service, previously I just paid and got the details from Telegram. Ive tested out about 5-6 other IPTV services over the past 3 months and have decided that this is the one Im sticking with. The decision was fairly easy for a few key reasons

- Norwegian channels like TV2 Premium, rare to find (Big plus for me as a Norwegian)

- Fast and very helpful Customer Service

- HD Streams, 1080p 60fps

- Rarely, if ever notice any lag/buffer, even on big matches

Another key point that’s worth mentioning is that they don’t offer 5000+ channels like so many others, this is a big plus for me as they still have all the important channels, especially in sports and that allows their uptime to be near perfect as they have fewer channels to upkeep (Their library of channels is still great, don’t worry 📷).

Eternal IPTV?

I guess this’ll be my review of Eternal IPTV since I see there’s a lot of hype around it. I have it, and I recently told my mate to sign up and of course there’s no more subs in stock. But apparently he went to their telegram group and was lynched in a second by some Kathy girl. Anyways;

For anyone wondering or dying to get a sub from eternal, I would say look elsewhere as all the providers are basically the same thing. It buffers at times and the selection is short. The only upside I would say is the price and the amount of connections you’d get. But that’s basically it.

Again I’m not really trying to bad mouth a service that’s basically pirating others (as all iptvs are), I’m just saying you could probably do better and prob pay a dollar or two more for someone who actually cares for the money their making. I’m entitled to my opinion though.

Guess I’ll open this thread to anyone who wants to suggest something similar for anyone searching.

(P.s. not new, just got locked out my old account for buying reps )

edit: Eternal's response to my friend after he complained to them directly about Kathy. https://prnt.sc/njxspl That's some real quality right there lol.

edit 2: Here's his initial email : http://prntscr.com/nkdbpt (edited to remove his IP)

Zeus Streams IPTV Review

Zeus Streams IPTV: https://facebook.com/zeusappcenter

Got a trial of Zeus Streams about a month ago from an ad on Facebook. So far the service has been pretty good. Multiple links for most sports channels and PPV events. And I have been able to watch all of the Dodger games this month, which is what I needed the most. Prior to using Zeus Streams I had used a few cheap services I bought off of eBay, a horrible service called Twitty TV and was a customer of Gears TV for a year.

I tried several services looking to replace Gears with something with more channels, connections and options. I thought I was just going to be stuck paying $22 for Gears with one connection if I wanted to keep the quality and consistency that I was used to. After trying 6 or 7 services I gave Zeus a try and ended up liking it a lot. They had it advertised for $20/mo. for 2 connections but after the trial I was able to get it for $15.

The only bad thing I could say is that there is buffering on about 10% of the adult channels. And some of local channels went down for about a day and a half last week, which wasn't a big deal to me because my city was still up. They addressed the issue on their page and seemed to be working hard to get everything back up fast. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for quality sports and PPV's.
