My Latest Strategy (now that Vader is gone)

by aybesea

So, several months ago I posted a strategy that worked great for me involving Beast, Vader, and Nitro. With Vader going away and Nitro going to shit, I have adopted a new strategy that is working well for me.

To remind you from last time, I am not in this to save money. I am in this to be able to watch every US sports match that I might desire, in 60fps and FHD/HD,with minimal issues. Additionally, I want all of my cable channels and premiums (for the wife mostly). And I need a little catchup, particularly for MSNBC.

So, my new mix looks like this:

  1. Beast. Still the best. Yes they've had some issues in the last month, but overall it is solid and beautiful picture. My reseller is u/jcast356 and he is an incredibly diligent and honest person.

  2. Xstreamz. This is Crystal Clear rebranded and sold by u/bozz07022. I just get the US /CAN version. Mostly amazing pictures and good stability. Additionally, they have catchup for quite a few channels.

  3. Jarvis. This is another very solid, great picture service with quite a few backup channels. Another really good reddit reseller, u/jarvis912 is wonderful to work with.

  4. Helix. I use this one for Regionals (they have a bunch of uncommon ones, backups (like 4 espn feeds), and Catchup (extensive and quick to post). They only take bitcoin so it's a little (very little) more difficult. I buy off their official web site.

This is probably over kill for some of you, but it suits me very well!

For what it's worth, here is a list of providers that I've tried and dumped due to bad picture, bad service, or buffering / uptime issues:

Eternal, Area51, Beams, Gears, Twisted, TNT, Epicstreams and Global Entertainment.

I tried Beast. Absolute shite. Premier League football was either shite picture quality or totally buffering, and 4 minutes behind live TV.

All I really want is decent quality and reliable enough sports. Don’t care about 100s of other channels. Literally Sky, BT, BeIn and anything else that shows Premier League and European rugby. Beast can’t do that so I cancelled within days of signing up.

Helix don't only take BTC. I pay mine with a virtual credit card.

I might need to look into Beast - sounds good!

gflores16

How much are you paying for all/each if I may ask?

khantroller

What was wrong with eternal?

Nice post.

For Helix if you open a support ticket for paypal they usually accept payment from it. Just register new account request to pay via paypal.

Beast TV: constant buffering during live sports, 3 day catchup doesn't work, no vod.

Thanks for your post. I'm looking for basically the same thing. FHD 60fps, US/CA but I need UK too. I am using Beast and Nitro. Both have ups and downs. Beast UK channels are not good, poor quality. Beast US lineup is good quality and GOT on HBO works. Nitro EPG is blank more often than not. Their 7/24 is strong but other channels are 50/50. They used to be solid and reliable. Once my subs end, I will sign up with another. Doing the research now.

Will check out Xstreamz. How's the EPG ?

In summary, I only have 3 needs:

  1. FHD 60 fps live, no catchup, no VOD.
  2. US/CA/UK only without thousands of foreign channels.
  3. Reliable EPG that populates 80% of the time.

Thanks.

You lost me at MSNBC.

What’s wrong with twisted?

I have been trying to get Eternal account for the past few months, but no success. Anybody has a success story to share, please?

dahanger

was gears just bad picture quality for you? i like that is doesn't buffer for me but dear god it looks washed out.

xfirestreamz

OP - I'm a reseller for Crystal Clear and all of VOD, TV Series and Catch-up is gone since what happened to Vaders. We have added alot of Vader users in the past few days. All the servers we had for the services that went away are now being used to help with more users that would be coming on for Live TV.

Ok thank you

With the exception of the 2 services on your list I don't have any recent experience testing (Epic/Global), every one of those other services on your "dumped due to" list see notably less buffering and downtime on the constant whole then Beast TV. Heck, half of that list basically have just as good channel stream quality on most of their streams as well, especially if we are just going to focus on USA as you randomly mentioned you do below. Customer service is always in the eye of the beholder, but I'd also rank Beast's telegram chat as one of the least newbie friendly chats I've ever been in too. Their mods/fanboys can be pretty hostile at times at the mere implication that the constant issues they see are anything more then a "to be expected norm in IPTV".

But of course, none of those other guys are giving you a free account to post this surface level "review" without any potentially damning details (which every provider has at least one for somebody) that might risk those resellers a lost potential sale either :)

I would try www.subscribetv.co

Been using them for myself and family and no major, solid streams and updates on the service and additions regularly.

abaloz

Isnt it better to just get it from the original seller vs the reseller??

keithcq71

I have Eternal and never had a issue.

I used to have Vaders but then switched to iptvclouds , and now am looking for another backup to have at my girlfriends apartment . your strategy is great but since Vader’s ( which I consider one of the biggest is shut down ) what is the future of the other big ones like nitro and beast ext ... I prefer to stay with the medium or small subs .

beadvised22

Where do I get Beast at? I thought Beast was rebranded Vader.

mauriceh

Looking for a good provider for a Canadian user.

badleaders

Stay away from Beast !

I switched from Vaders to Beast ( from BAD to WORST ) ... The best choice ( SO FAR ) is getting a SUB from iptv007 hope they stay good coz most of iptv services start good and don't continue like this .

johny696969

I am confused is Jarvis a Primestream re-seller or just use the same streams. Also isn't AlienStreams same as primestreams

cellybelly

u/aybesea Would you recommend Beast for (US based) mostly HBO and similar premium along with some sports channels like NLB and NFL?

Freddybear115

Read Beast for jcast link and just another IPTV service has nothing to do with Vaders

uncbuk

anyone saying Beast is "still the best" is most likely lying for all the obvious reasons, just plain stupid perhaps, or both.
