WARNING: Do not use HappyIPTV

I recently purchased a 3 month subscription from happyiptv.com and worked well for 24 hours, then blocked. - under the info tab it still (and still does) state that the subscription is active until 2018.

I have tried numerous times contacting them on multiple platforms and I got awful customer support. - if I wasnt ignored, they would state the problem was on my end which frankly was BS as it was working for the first 24 hours (I also double checked using a test account from another provider.)

Just thought I would give people the heads up, I have been burnt by them and I don't want anybody else to be!

Ace-IPTV

Don't buy ACE-IPTV. Bought Ace-Sports 2 days ago. Yesterday NHL network was not workng correctly. Today, Sportsnet Ontario is not working. Wanted to watch Leafs - Canes game on SNO, with all comercials. d But in beginning of game stream just stuck. Opened ticket in Ace-IPTV, they answered " There is nothing wrong with it. It is blocked out (blackout) by the satellite provider we receive the stream from. You can find it under NHL " and " Also, do not threaten. I will close down the ticket. We do not take kindly to threats." I wrote that I'll post about them as a bad service if they won't fix service that i bought, and they thought that I was threatening :D So, my dear friends - DO NOT BUY ace-tv.co.uk

Fabiptv Review

I am not affiliated to Fabiptv nor have I had any kick backs or anything for this review. Total noob to IPTV, just started learning about it a few weeks ago (thanks to this sub reddit plus the IPTV sub).

I decided to try out IPTV and went with a few free trials to see if it was worth it for me and if I could get it to work on my TV with a built in Chromecast. Seeing a few positive reviews for Fabiptv, I decided to sign up for a month. I received my login credentials almost immediately and instructions on how to install it various ways. As my wife knows how to use Kodi at it's basic level, I installed the .apk to keep everything consistent. I really wanted it integrated into the Kodi IPTV guide and it works great after a few snags on my end. Not too slow and all the channels I've watched have been labeled correctly (I did see YTV with a NFL listing which was funny..). NFL games have been pretty good - better than DAZN which I've been subscribed to for a few months. I don't really care about VOD so I can not comment on it but it seems like some good selections although a 24/7 channel for Channing Tatum is pretty strange. Haven't had to speak with customer service - everything has been very straight forward. Lots of groupings keep scrolling through channels to a minimum as well. Solid 8/10 on my personal scale and a great introduction to IPTV services.

vaderstreams via IPRocket

Signed up to the pioneer service (== vaderstreams) for one month here: https://my.iprocket.net/ with the kodi (with web viewing) option.

Applied the "pioneerreddit" promo code just prior to checkout and got 10% off which made the total $11.95 for the month.

Ran the service in kodi on an nvidia shield 2017 model running android TV hard wired to a stable internet at ~70Mbps downstream

The next part will apply to vaderstreams regardless of reseller: I found the vaderstreams kodi addon to be a useless buggy p.o.s. There are more details here along with a possible workaround: https://www.reddit.com/r/VaderStreams/comments/75z2ve/service_stopped/dorqjjz/

Putting their kodi addon disaster to one side for a moment, I have found the vaderstreams backend to be reasonably solid and the streams are good quality. Now that I've found a kodi workaround that works for me, I'm in two minds whether to renew for another month or bin them off.

2 month review of ACE, Rocketstreams, Flawless and StreamHub.

I will try to keep this short and simple. I was waiting for NFL and NHL season to kick start to see how these providers handled the additional load.

ACE TV: Not worth it at all. Buffered even during the non-peak times. Will not be renewing with them. RATING: 1/5

ROCKETSTREAMS: Good price. USA/Canadian content worked alright, UK section struggled. For the main sporting channels, wish they would have more "backup" sources like Flawless/Streamhub. It's nice to have FHD, HD and SD options. RATING: 1/5

FLAWLESS: Alight service. Handled the last couple of PPV's well. EPG is good. I do like that they provide FHD, HD and SD options. NFL has struggled every single week and every week, all they do is tell people to clear the cache and reset their router which is a crap excuse. RATING: 2.5/5

Streamhub: Seems like the same service/sources as Flawless. Support is good. Handled PPV well but NFL doesn't seem to get sorted out until halftime. At that point, what's the use? Takes about 24 hours to get access, not instant like Flawless. So if you want to sign up before a big event, make sure to do so at least a day or two beforehand. RATING: 2.5/5

Gears TV: Great service, however primarily focused on North American content. Good quality streams, no buffering for NFL/NHL/MLB or PPV. The Mayfair guide is alright. The only downfall is the price of $15/month for only one connection. Whereas other services will at least give you 2 or 3. RATING 4/5.

Vader Streams: Best service by far. Live TV sections for 22 countries. No buffering, slightly better quality than Gears TV. Most channels are 60 fps versus 30 for Gears. Even though it's a bit more cash, I believe Vaders allows up to 5 devices (2 different IPs). Great online web viewer. Matchcenter is an awesome touch and i don't mind the guide at all. The only IPTV service i believe that allows you to pick the server you want versus just auto detect. The odd time they face DDos attacks but they seem to sort those out pretty quick. RATING 4.5/5.

The Players Klub: For only $5, it's actually not bad. I will probably keep this service as my backup in case Vaders goes down for maintenance. Quality on the Canadian channels suck but the American channels work well, no buffering, NFL/PPV was good and NHL hasn't been too shabby either. Again, not the greatest service but can't beat the price. RATING 2/5.

CONCLUSION: Doesn't get much better than Vaders. If Gears expanded their international section and provided a multi-room option, it would compete.

Thanks.

Rocket IPTV Review

Hi All,

This is my first post, on anything, ever. So go easy on me. I'm quite new to the IPTV world, I had ACE TV for the last month and I saw that it was recommended to try out a few suppliers before buying. Although there wasn't a huge amount wrong with ACE, I still wanted to try out some others. Anyway, long story short I've given Rocket IPTV a go.

Pros:

  • An accurate EPG is important to me, Rocket's EPG is on point and most importantly at the right time
  • There wasn't any buffering at all which was good and surprisingly
  • Quality of HD channels was actually HD, not like other suppliers
  • VOD is important to me, and although the classification could be better, i.e. new releases being in a separate section, the amount of movies and TV shows was good.
  • Good channel list, Sky movie and sport channels are important to me
  • The frame rate was good, I can't stand jerky streams

Cons:

  • No separate app like with ACE. Although this might not be big to some people, I like seeing what's on each channel without having to scroll through each one. Maybe STB Emu isn't the right program for me.
  • There was some sort of feedback noise when I first connected, it's come back since but then disappeared. Not sure what this is/was.
  • VPN not allowed when using MAC (might be my lack of understanding if this is important or not)

As a side note, not really a pro or con. Channel list is smaller than others, but I would rather have a smaller list for the sake of quality.

Overall I would give them an 8/10. Solid supplier and I will be staying with them.

Flawless (via Rocket IPTV) Review

So since Fab's notorious outage a few months back, I've held onto then while testing multiple providers, resellers, etc trying to find the right fit. Ended up testing Flawless and WOW! Major major difference. No dead channels, haven't experienced hardly any buffering (even using 1080p sources), etc. Everything you expect (with a focus on US/UK/CA) is there & has some nice VOD/247 listings as well (although I doubt I'll be using those much). It's a keeper for sure.

If I had one gripe (and this is a nitpick) its that I think the listing names could use a cleaning up. Every channel list, even on Mag, starts with the group name followed by the channel name (USA/CA: CHANNEL NAME in BLAH BLAH) and its all in caps. I find it completely unnecessary & convoluted, making it difficult to quickly scan through which channel is which. But I also subscribe to an EPG service so editing the names isn't a big deal for me, esp for what I'm getting.

P.S. If you're looking for a cheaper reseller than going straight through to the source, I have no affiliation with him at all but I'd highly recommend contacting u/Rocket-IPTV via here or his reseller site. It's the cheapest I found, he always responds quickly & def doesn't seem like a lot of the here today gone tomorrow resellers we all see around.

Epic IPTV Review (Not EpicStream)

Hi, Here is a quick review straight to the point. If you have questions feel free to ask.

General I recently signed up for EpicIPTV. thinking it was epicStream but quickly did I learn they are not the same thing.

Background I am from the Toronto Ontario Area with a 60d/10u Internet and on speedtest getting about 61d/10u.

Packages There is only one package with this provider. There are also some adult content available but I did not check that out.

Device Compatibility 10/10, I am using a Mag254 for this review and I have used STB Emulator for a bit for testing purposes. Easy setup with both

EPG 0/10, There is no EPG with this provier, if that is something you want then go with someone else

Buffering 9/10, There is little to no buffering with this provider.

Quality 8/10, I used to have IPGUYS and i didn't noticed a huge problem on my 55inch TV, when I switched to these guys I noticed all the quality I was missing. Many HD channels

Channels 5/10, I only use Canadian/American channels. There is quite a good selection. They have the basics like CBC, CBS, Global, Local Channels. No womans network (Its there but doesnt load), and No CMT. Each channel has 5-6 different versions which makes it very messy. Example: (CTV, CTV HD, CTV HDHD, CTV HD*) This is good for if a channel is down, but for a neat interface this is far from it.

Overall Experience 2/10 I like this provider, but with no EPG at all this is very hard to use, with multiple of each channel setting my favorites is difficult because they are not always up and running and you have to switch. The video on demand is good as it has lots of selection for TV Shows and Movies but I don't really use that so i'm not sure how up to date it is.

Ace-TV 4 Month Review

Before I go on this is an affiliate review. I know, but hey it pays for my TV and weed. I'll be as subjective as possible. Explain my setup and describe my wife.

Background I'll start by saying that I'm in the UK. So this is very much a local review for local people. we mostly watch using LibreELEC (KODI) and VLC Player. All IPTV traffic leaves the house via a dedicated ubuntu openvpn gateway, connected to private internet access and using the london exit point. Free to air HD UK channels are delivered via a satellite card and TVHeadend. Quality control of the IPTV service is in part down to my wife and how much she grumbles about her viewing pleasure being anything other than perfect. Believe me when I say that on more than one occasion over the years I've thought 'fuck it just pay murdoch'.

Packages They offer 2 basic packages. Sport and Premium with a free adult bolt on should pornhub not be enough. Premium also comes with a fairly comprehensive VOD service and 3 day catchup. Sport starts at £7 a month and Premium will see you pony up £10. They offer multiroom for £5 per extra connection. I buy it in quarterly increments with multiroom which is £25 (£35 w/multiroom). Credit/Debit card only via WorldPay I'm afraid, no paypal or bitcoin.

Sports Package Channel List - http://docdro.id/uhy655g
Premium Package Channel List - http://docdro.id/djh8zhL
VOD Content - http://docdro.id/uTlwVor

Compatability All the usual. .m3u & Xml combo for KODI, VLC and various other players plus a dedicated KODI app. For android they have their own app or you can also use perfect player if you need an EPG. It's also MAG, Dreamlink and enigma compatible but I dont own any of these so cant really comment on the experience with them.

KODI Config I created a fairly comprehensive guide to setting KODI up with IPTV Simple Client and the Ace KODI addon which you can look at here http://docdro.id/nH85UJp As i mentioned above if you can combine your IPTV with FTA via either Freesat or Freeview from TVHeadend it'll really improve your experience. You'd be surprised at how much FTA my mrs watches.

I Don't Give A Fuck About That, Whats The EPL Like? This is not my area of expertise. I can wax lyrical about the F1 but I've only watched few football games for the reasons of this review.
Ace have struggled recently. Thats been pretty well documented here, twitter and Facebook. They didnt help themselves by telling their customer base that issues had been resolved and they they wouldnt need a VPN.
My personal experience. watched Swansea/Newcastle on the 10th FHD which was OK. KODI booted me off the stream and I couldnt get back on one for a couple of mins. I suspect that was KODI shitting itself. I watched the rest of the game in VLC which was spot on. Then on the 17th after the F1 I tried to watch Chelsea/Arsenal. this was the week that Ace told uses they wouldnt need a VPN. Well I had a VPN and it was dire. Just constant buffering. last weekend Brighton/Newcastle and it was fine. The only thing I noticed was that the quality on the FHD didnt appear to be as good as normal. I'm sure a bunch of people will jump onto this with their opinions and if football is your thing you'll do well to listen to them. What I suspect has happened is that a recent influx of customers plus their anti blocking measures has caused their servers to buckle more than I little. Will they resolve this? No idea but if you're in the UK get a bloody VPN will you, regardless of who you choose. You are going to need it......Eventually.

I Don't Give A Fuck About The EPL, Whats The F1 Like? The F1 has been spot on. Every session. Practices, Qualifying and Races. I watch them all. I've had to intervene and restart the channel 3 may 4 times over hours upon hours of viewing. I think one weekend the FHD channel didnt have a picture to go with the audio but I watched the on the next HD one and it was fine.

Mayweather Fight? For some inexplicable reason I was up at 4am that morning and thought I'd pop it on. Watched it on the FHD until mcgregor entered the arenA and for a few minutes the whole service went to shit. Eventually got on the last HD link. It was far from HD but I got the Mrs up and we watched it from second round all the way through.

Enough With The Sports, Whats It Like For Normal Telly? This is where my mrs comes in, she'll watch any old tut. we're talking you're, golds, ITV's, Livings, Alibi's and food. All that crap. Above all else she cannot help but watch the movie channels even though we have access to practically every film ever made. I rarely get a complaint and this is from the woman who once told me 'I cant watch ANY TV because the guide is an hour out'. thats what we're up against here. Fortunately Ace's EPG is pretty good for UK content. It's usually accurate although it does wobble from time to time. Once you get out of the UK channels it starts to get patchy. I've moved all US/CA and UK movie channels into one group in the m3u and I've noticed that shes been watching some US ones from time to time but its often accompanied by a comment about the EPG being out.

A Bit About Bitrate This varies massively. having a flick through at the moment. Entertainment channels running between 2000-4000k mark on HD labeled channels (720p) and between 3000-7000k on the FHD sports channels. These jump around all over the shop and can vary at given time.

Catchup? Catchup is useful but not without its faults. There are currently 47 UK channels 31 of them being HD. It covers all the main sports and entertainment channels. there are an additional 28 US/CA channels. It seems to work pretty well. You dont wanna hit the seek or the pause button when you're watching it as that often kills it or puts it in a loop. This is what my wife complains about the most. If the EPG is out it can be a mare to find what you want and it seems they need to rebuild it from time to time. Usually you get three days catchup.

Bored now, Conclusion As I don't watch the football, Ace is more than good enough for my families needs. The UK channel lineup is pretty extensive and we find watching everyday TV just fine. It does have a freakout from time to time outside of the football but these tend to be just little random things and it comes with the territory. If I was starting out and a massive footy fan then I probably wouldnt choose Ace right now. Infact if I was a football fan in the UK looking for any service I wouldnt consider it without having a VPN in place first and even you may struggle at some point.

Ace IPTV (review after 3 months)

I first signed up because I wanted a source for my 24/7 Sky Sports addiction. I normally use Smooth Streams when watching games, but they are really not reliable when it comes to their small UK selection (which tbf they are really honest about).

So I signed up with Ace and in the beginning it was working very, very well. I used Smart IPTV and it was fast, responsive and the streams just worked. Also impressed with the quality of the Sky channels, which seems a rarity when it comes to IPTV (everybody seems to be offering FHD US channels, but the Uk ones are often less reliable for some reason).

Anyway, a month back the problems started. I got buffering all over the place. I couldn't watch 2 minutes of SSN without the picture starting to loop/stutter and trying to watch an entire game was no longer an option. I tested the service through several apps on my Shield TV + in Safari/Firefox, but it was the same no matter how I ran it: terrible. I just couldn't count on this service anymore, not even if I wanted to watch SSN for fifteen minutes.

My connection is 100/100 and I am always using a wired internet. I even tried to change my ethernet cable and went wireless for while, but it didn't really change my results. Also I never have problems with other streaming services (including Smooth Streams).

I contacted support and they were quick to respond. However they always pointed the problem back to being at my end. Their only real solution (the one they seem to give everyone in the FB group) is to "power cycle" the router, which tbh is not a real solution. The problem is, I expect, like with so many other IPTV providers, they got greedy and oversold their product.

I was so excited in the beginning that I bought a years subscribtion. This was a mistake I'll never do with an IPTV provider again.

So, I am posting this as a warning to people who consider joining Ace: You really shouldn't. It's just not worth it.

Reliability is everything, and this is where they fail.

[OPINION]Review time periods should be considered in this sub

I see a lot of, "So I did a 12 or 24 hour trial to blah blah blah service..." reviews here. After my time using IPTV I don't think such short time frames are even close to valid to say that a service is awesome or shitty. Every service has hiccups and if you happen to trial it on that day, you will be putting it out that a service sucks because of your very limited exposure to it. Vice versa with good experiences, even subpar services can have a good day.

I just think that very short time usage in a review should be taken with a pretty big grain of salt. And I hope that anyone reading reviews takes the time frame of the review into consideration before making a decision. The bottom line is that no service is perfect, no matter much people try to find that unicorn that never has problems.
