Ace IPTV (review after 3 months)

by iptvwolf

I first signed up because I wanted a source for my 24/7 Sky Sports addiction. I normally use Smooth Streams when watching games, but they are really not reliable when it comes to their small UK selection (which tbf they are really honest about).

So I signed up with Ace and in the beginning it was working very, very well. I used Smart IPTV and it was fast, responsive and the streams just worked. Also impressed with the quality of the Sky channels, which seems a rarity when it comes to IPTV (everybody seems to be offering FHD US channels, but the Uk ones are often less reliable for some reason).

Anyway, a month back the problems started. I got buffering all over the place. I couldn't watch 2 minutes of SSN without the picture starting to loop/stutter and trying to watch an entire game was no longer an option. I tested the service through several apps on my Shield TV + in Safari/Firefox, but it was the same no matter how I ran it: terrible. I just couldn't count on this service anymore, not even if I wanted to watch SSN for fifteen minutes.

My connection is 100/100 and I am always using a wired internet. I even tried to change my ethernet cable and went wireless for while, but it didn't really change my results. Also I never have problems with other streaming services (including Smooth Streams).

I contacted support and they were quick to respond. However they always pointed the problem back to being at my end. Their only real solution (the one they seem to give everyone in the FB group) is to "power cycle" the router, which tbh is not a real solution. The problem is, I expect, like with so many other IPTV providers, they got greedy and oversold their product.

I was so excited in the beginning that I bought a years subscribtion. This was a mistake I'll never do with an IPTV provider again.

So, I am posting this as a warning to people who consider joining Ace: You really shouldn't. It's just not worth it.

Reliability is everything, and this is where they fail.

Similar experience. Wanted to really like them but way too much buffering and looping. Had similar problems 5 or so months back.

Similar here. Very good few months back, but problems started when they migrated from ovh servers to 10gbps.io servers. Other night i spent 3 hours on tickets with admins about routing my sub to USA servers ?!!? I use them from .nl, but EVERY time i m routed to USA even they got servers in .nl and uk.

What is even more worse is that every admin response on the issue is different. One says we cant fix it, second says i fixed it, third said "This is because of smart routing" LOL :-)

Long story short, after they moved servers, service is much much worse.

This on twitter today. dunno if it helps, I think if you are in the UK you've gotta try a VPN first. https://twitter.com/Ace_IPTV/status/913062819616231424 Not saying its gonna be a bed of roses but if your thing is footy you're gonna need it wherever you go, eventually. if youre in the UK that is. if not all this reply was redundant.

Yep gone downhill awhile ago, I left the Facebook group due to the bullshit of answering with the same shit over and over and when pointing out potential problems basically being told to 'fuck off and start your own service then' my sub is running out in a week, i had a 6 months sub, won't be renewing.

Weird how some have problems and some don't. I've been with them for I think about 8 months and other than a few problems with the annoying Prem block on Saturdays, which can be fixed using a VPN, it's been nothing short of brilliant for me! Can't recommend them enough.

Ace buffered so bad for me it was unusable, support said it was just me.. Epic and Gears ran fine

Look elsewhere people, Ace is a waste of money.

sonnybobiche1

Totally unusable every time I've tried to watch F1 sessions, except sometimes SD works. SD. Fuck that. Just wait an hour or two and download it in perfect HD, skipping around as much as you like, and, oh yeah, for free.

Ace is useless and the admins are full of crap.

I've been trying out them one month at a time nov16-jul17 and I've been very impressed by the service. Easily the best IPTV service out there. While it can get choppy sometimes it's never on the level of the order services out there.

Now I have a quarterly subscription.

If not Ace IPTV, would any of you guys prefer WSSPremium over it?

gingyneil

Guys I'd like to point out that these things happen at some point with all the services.

I understand ACE is no longer available directly but only thru resellers beginning Dec 2017? So anybody with reseller now? If so what's resellers contacts?

joejim123

I heard that there are only few MAIN IPTV providers and rest are resellers. Is ACE one of MAIN IPTV providers? What are other MAIN IPTV providers?

So after being with ace for a few months now, I am really disappointed with their customers service. I came across an individual named Howard. He is rude, unprofessional, lacks basic customer service. It seemed as if ACE IPTV hired a high school kid to represent their company. I was satisfied with ACE until they started having quality issues and when I came across Howard.

I would not recommend them. You're better off, going to another provider, like Natho. They are a bit more than ACE IPTV. But they seem to have it together. They are reseller of ACE IPTV. They know what professionalism means and they try their best to solve any issues quick and reply in a professional manner.

I guess it true what they say. You do get what you pay for.

Manners don't cost anything.!!

I pray to Lord Howard get genital herpes!!!!

Thank you for proving my point.

This is why I pay through paypal. you can open a dispute and you will get your refund. iptv providers don't want paypal looking into their business. so open a refund ticket with paypal if you paid that way.
