Flawless IPTV - an honest review

by dancrane1980

Ok folks. First time poster, long time reader, so go easy on me.

I have been in the IPTV world for about a year now and have had services with quite a few of the big subs out there. Here's a quick list: Ruya Iptvexpress Joytv Flawless

I use a mag254 attached to LAN so, I'll lay that out there as a basis of my review.

I just recently started hearing good things about Flawless. They have a Facebook page, and it started to get some buzz, plus a name like flawless indicates quality and stability

Channel Selection A great selection of sports channels, all in HD and some with backups just in case. I've watched through a few of the U.K. Sports channels and the quality has been excellent. Very good indeed. I would say it's as good as Ruya for sports HD quality, which before this was the best I'd seen. There are also SD and HD version of most of the U.K. Channels including movies and documentary and PPV. A smattering of USA channels which I am guessing are gleamed from a different supplier but all were stable and the quality was good too. If you are Canadian, fear not they have Canadian channels including sports.

GUI Standard MAG GUI with a green theme. The channels are very well organized into groups by country and content. This is very handy

Cons: One of the reasons I use the MAG is that on some services you can record to their server or time shift back through the guide on certain channels. joytv is great for this, and Ruya has a proprietary catch-up that mainly covers the major U.K. Channels and sports.

Synopsis: If you are looking for sports, HD in a good quality and reliability. You should look at giving the team at Flawless a try.

ACE IPTV gets their service from the same provider (i believe)... just another one to look at .
I'm on a shitty 10mb DSL connection and it works pretty good..

Flawless have now been the subject of DDOS attacks especially around big football match times. I have been with them six months - for the first 4 months it was truly flawless. It appears now they have become a victim of their own success. Within the past week there has been 3 seriously crippling attacks.

Hi mate, do you have a link for flawless?

FlipprDolphin

Are the US channels mostly HD and actually look good? I was looking at flawless online last night while trying to figure things out.

Are the sports 720/1080 quality or 720/1080 that really looks worse than those resolutions.

dansta31

just curious, how would you rank flawless against IPTVExpress?

Paid for a month to have a look. Great range of channels. Didnt get any buffering (Based in australia on a 17meg connection) Killer for me was the almost 2 minute delay of the stream. Now i also sub to Smoothstreams and thats what im comparing this to. That delay means that through any games i know that mates are watching i wouldnt want to look at my phone if any messages or updates come through from whoever.

Yes channel switching is a little slow on the Mag. This is probably some kind of routing issue in OSPF on their side. I have a 1gb fiber connect and I still get about 15 seconds of channel loading.

Great review, we're a partner of Flawless (well reseller) and can't fault their service. Was a long time customer before we used them for our supply.
