Allstartv Review

My setup: MAG254 via 50mg LAN

Checkout was a bit odd you go through about 3 different sites to buy credit back to the main site which is then added to your user name, paid via paypal and took about 30 minutes for everything to go through.

You then add your MAC address into the user interface which is nice.

The service its self for me there were too many channels I only care about UK and maybe some US/CA, all the channels go by country and not Movies, Kids, Music for example which is a bit of a pain so that needs improvement, but had all the usual movies and sports channels, nothing major missing.

There was not many True HD channels, the SD channels were a mix of normal SD and HD so somewhere in between, at the time I was testing I didn't see much buffering so that was good.

EPG was ok, not 100% but decent.

Channel switching was a bit slow, took a few seconds to load which was a bit annoying, I have 0 set-up in buffering so should be quick, but usually about 6-8 seconds.

Adult section was very good, lots to pick from haha most worked and a few HD.

No VOD

So overall an ok service, maybe separate packages for each country and fix the slow channel switching times and the order process & you'll have a decent service.

Migrated from flawless to fab

Jumped ship today from flawless to Fab and already pleased I have. I haven't yet experienced any drops or buffers on any HD channels which were becoming a nuisance on flawless.

I shall come back next Monday the with a full review of fab, but so far so good. Even the support team have been very helpful and quick to reply. Could I request though that Discovery Science UK be added to UK documentaries soon. Thanks team Fab.

FabIPTV Review

Was with FabIPTV as a reseller of Flawless IPTV for a month and found them excellent, but switched to Peace Country IPTV when they started their own service as I was sure it couldn't compare. Switched back a month later to see what it was like, and soon realised how wrong I was.

Their service has been perfect, I've had practically zero problems with anything, haven't even had any buffering on 1080p channels (as long as I'm not doing anything else online) despite my internet connection being under 10Mbps. I very rarely find non working channels, and they're always fixed very quickly once reported. I've never found any problems with EPG data or mislabelled channels.

The channel selection is absolutely second to none especially as a UK/Ireland ex-cardsharing user, this service gives me access to almost every subscription channel (except +1s, international and adult - none of which I need) in the same quality as a certain UK satellite provider - there are only 6 missing channels and 16 channels which are available in HD on satellite but only in SD on FabIPTV (yes, I counted). The 6 channels are relatively unimportant but it'd still be nice to have the full UK satellite package.

There's also plenty of the free-to-air channels, and also the Irish channels available although I use FTA satellite and terrestrial too so I'm not best placed to comment. There's a massive selection of US and Canadian channels which all seem to work well and most are in great HD quality, including the channels for 3pm matches. There's a growing VOD library, some 24/7 TV show channels and catch-up on many channels, although I've never used either of these properly they do seem to work great.

I would definitely recommend FabIPTV to anybody. 10/10.

Hope this in right place to post this. Just got Epic up and running. Had a lot of issues trying trying to get it sorted out at my end. the team at Epic were epic in how they handled it. Emails were responded to very promptly and the issues resolved one at a time until we suceeded. Can't praise these guys enough. All programs are there and are streaming as they should. Their facebook page seems to be kept well up todate with issues arising and responses given fairly quickly. For the price well worth a punt.

r/AceTV https://ace-tv.co.uk My setup: MXIII, Plex with iptv addon 120Mb wired connection 1200ac wireless

Payment/Cost: First off they accept Paypal and that's a huge plus in my book for month to month I find not having to deal with Credit Cards etc a great bonus. the plan I got is Ace Premium at £9.00 GBP a month ( multi room is available for £5 a extra connection )

Took about 20 Minutes to get setup and my many many questions began. Support was always quick ( very quick as in under 5 minutes!!! ) and solved every issue I had guided me through multiple setups and had each working great.

Channels: wow, nicely organized ( us/sports uk/entertainment uk /sports etc etc or theres also a "all" option Epg works great and the stream quality is crisp and clean. if there ever is a problem ( it is iptv so there is always going to be some issues ) a quick jump on facebook to drop a report and it gets fixed within minutes . The HD channels are my personal favorite and other then the occasional buffer during a major ppv ( wrestlemania ) never had a problem.

Vod: Nice selection and all streams work well ( small buffering here but not to bad ) Catchup: this is a nice service when it works at the time of writing this they are recovering from a major crash so not working. Overall 9.5 out of 10 (.5 off for Catchup )

My 90 days with IPGuys - A retrospective review

Hello reddiors. I'm here to give me 2¢ worth on this much talked about IPTV provider, that seems to get praised a lot here as being the most "stable" or "rock-solid" service available. Are these claims true, or just a lot of advertising hot air? Read on to find out.

Background When I started my subscription with IPguys, I already had 6 months of experience with various IPTV services. I use an Android box, so naturally I test all the services I use with Kodi and STB Emulator. I also have a Mag 254 which I used for this review (I copy it's MAC address over to Kodi stalker and STBEmu), and my connection speed is a stable 50Mbps from a good ISP.

Registering and setup Signing-up was a little difficult, because IPguys do not sell the service themselves, so you have to find a reseller. Finding one wasn't that easy either since resellers give the service a custom name. But I finally found one called "blue server". After signing up, I'm told to email them my MAC address, and they tell me that Kodi "is bad for IPTV" and I shouldn't use it (wtf?). Also, they inform me not to change my mind later because I can ONLY use the service with the first device I login with, which is annoying. Most other providers offer some sort of "Mac reset" facility. After that was done, logging in with my Mag was as simple as entering the correct portal, and rebooting. I also managed to get it up and working on STB Emulator, but it took a lot of fiddling with the Mac and serial number to get it to work.

Channels The usual suspects are all included here (ABC, NBC, etc). But other than the major channels, the selection is a little disappointing, to be honest. There were no UK channels to speak of (BBC, ITV, Channel 4). It seems IPguys mainly focuses on Canadian channels, and many non-Canadian channels are left out. Movie selection was great though, just about every single movie channel I could think of.

Layout Similar channels are grouped together which kept things sorted nicely, even if you don't use a favourites list. The EPG worked flawlessly, and I never had an issue with it over the course of 3 months, but none of the channels had icons (that most other providers have), which is very annoying when browsing.

International channels This is by far one of the worst things about IPguys. It seems most of their international channels are sourced from other providers. Most of them contain watermarks/logos in the corner that I've seen before from free providers (such as the yellow lion head), and most of these channels work poorly. Half of the OSN channels, for example, were either mislabled or simply didn't load. And the ones that did, buffered constantly. It was a horrible experience.

Stability and quality One of the main selling points on IPguys has been it's "rock solid" stability. I didn't get much of a chance to experience this. All of their core channels loaded every time (unlike IKS66/Rocket/NFPS, for example, which frequently get stuck on loading), but buffering was still present from time to time, although it was rare on the non-international channels. Also what's worse was a lot of their core channels were either in standard def (not even 720p), or had interlacing issues which was quite jarring to look at.

Added features Timeshift was a nice addition that not every IPTV server provides, but it was only available on a small number of channels (about a dozen or so, and most of them were Canadian news channels). But it did work well, with channels going back up to 12 hours, if I recall correctly. It's a shame though it wasn't offered on channels that mattered, instead of the news.

Support Non-existant. IPguys don't even have a website. I hope you find a good reseller who answers emails and doesn't mind helping you with any questions you might have.

Conclusion While a nice attempt at a rock-solid service, IPguys just doesn't hit the mark for me, and doesn't live up to the Reddit hype. I'm glad I tried it out, and it certainly has some nice features that are hard to come by these days, but at the price they are asking ($10 per month), I expected more. I would give this a soft-pass, unless you're starved for a more Canadian-centric experience, for some reason.

FABIPTV: Announcing full Enigma2 (VU, Dreambox, Gigablue, zGemma) Support with integrated EPG, Discontinuing Affiliates, Reseller Discounted Entry Points, and of course trials whenever you want.

#Enigma2 (VU, Dreambox, Gigablue, zGemma) Support with integrated EPG and channel groups

Since we started out the service, we focused supporting on Kodi, Perfect Player, STB Emulator, STB, GSE, Andriod app, Smart TVs. We choose these devices because we figure that would what most of our customers wanted in terms of device support. Then we started hearing about these devices that were completely foreign to us. Odd characters came out of the woodwork and asked if we supported zGemma.. The admins thought.. WTF are these zGemma. We directed them to our Facebook community to help themselves. We did for a while. We grew and started signing up resellers who started about enigma2 device.. Do you mean code breaking and sending messages like in WWII? Well it turns out it is a box that is very very popular. Too popular for us to ignore. So on one drunken night in Germany, one admin researched on integrating Enigma2 on our system and came out the next morning like Moses with the 10 commandments proclaiming we now fully support Enigma2 devices with channel groups and EPG.

Full Setup guide is on setting Enigma2 based device with groups and integrated EPG is below: https://fabiptv.com/knowledgebase.php?action=displayarticle&id=21

#Discontinuing Affiliate Program and Introducing Reseller Program with lowest entry costs

After hearing concerns of /r/iptv community regarding the overeager usage of affiliate links we decided to discontinue the affiliate program. It was a program when we are a reseller ourselves to give some something back to the people who told others about our service. Now that we are providers, we can give you our eager supports more.. Much more.

So of you may not know this but FABIPTV has a reseller program and it is very rewarding. Full details are here.

https://fabiptv.com/knowledgebase.php?action=displayarticle&id=17

For this weekend we are lowering the initially requirements for being a reseller to £50GBP. Plus we bought a generic domain for you to use so you don’t even need to register a domain. You will just give us a subdomain you want to use. This is the lowest entry cost for becoming a reseller for any IPTV Providers out there. You good as affiliates, you would be unstoppable as a reseller and you would make way more money.

Gecko IPTV 12 Hour Review

www.gecko-iptv.com

My setup: MAG254 via 50mb LAN Connection

I was approached by Gecko to trial their service free for 12 hours in return provide a review and here it is.

Channel selection is very nice, full UK Sky + a lot of International channels, SD, HD & FHD.

I didn't find any dead channels and all had sound so can't fault on that so onto the performance, most of the FHD channels had stuttering issues, some of the HD sport channels also had issues, movies were a better but still not 100% did the usual DNS + buffer changes but not much of a difference for me.

EPG was there and correct for most channels, only current and whats on next nothing more.

VOD content was very good! Lots of new and old, I didn't have any performance issues viewing these so thats all good!

Taking a look at their site its £126 for a year service! That's at the very top end and for that price I was expecting better performance on the FHD channels.

Support, I didn't need to contact but they were nice and somewhat quick over reddit.

Overall these would not be a provider for myself but give them a try see how you get on!

Avoid IPTVZETA

The service is a total hack job that most likely runs off someone's home computer in a 3rd world country. The system is constantly down and always freezing and the moderators insist that their servers run flawlessly. Moderators claim that the trouble is due to subscribers equipment or internet service. The instructions and customer support is nonexistent. These guys only take payment from Russian and Ukraine payment systems by credit card and several members report being victim to credit card fraud shortly thereafter. Subscriptions are only available in 12 month blocks (annual). There are no trials and no monthly memberships. You can never plan to watch a program because you never know when the service will be up or down.

Here's what you can count on:

Constant buffering at prime time, weekends and sometimes even into the early morning hours.

Many channels down randomly, but frequently

Rude or non-existant customer support

No trials, only annual subscriptions

No hi-def even though they claim hi-def

Untrustworthy payment systems

Lots of headaches and wasted time

Do yourself a favor and stay clear of this hack job service. I screwed up and purchased a 12 month subscription unaware that I had choices. My htpc has an Intel i6, plenty of ram and is connected to the wall to a good hi-speed connection. I connect using stalker. I can assure you that you won't be happy with this service.

FPIPTV REVIEW

So Lets start with a quick background on Fire Phanthom IPTV http://fpiptv.com/ The resell they do not own any of the streams in fact most of them are from public lists as i found out. So you are paying for something that's free.

I used Fire Phantom IPTV for about 5 months this is my experience with them.

The way the website is laid out is for users to view the pricing and in a different website to pay. you must create an account in both websites matching the same username and password, after you place an order for something you go in the main website and submit a ticket, Then the admin gives you the credentials so you can start viewing channels.

One of the plans includes 5 devices for $20.00 A good deal you can activate any Box in any IP. My overall experience with FPIPTV is that is not worth getting it. This just made me want to stick to an actual provider like time Frontier or Directv. The reason why i say this is that if something goes wrong with an actual provider you can do something about it. If you say something to someone like FIPIPTV they just close your account and they don't refund any of your money, you can't just go to the bank or paypal an open a dispute you dont want your bank or paypal snooping around.

IPTV is just a headache but if you are willing to deal with it that is up to you my friend.

Pros,

You get all kinds of channels. You have the option of choosing either a STB Emulator or You can Use Kodi or List. They have a lot of movies on demand. Up to 5 Devices for only $20.00

Cons,

There is a Huge Delay Channels are actually 2 to 6 minutes behind not making it LIVE You are at a strangers mercy to with your personal information.(not secured) Wild Wild West Customer Service If FPIPTV gets raided by feds you are fucked. Channels Drop all the time. PPV Events Boxing/MMA/ Paid Events Suck Balls (freeze freeze) Most of the Streams are free and open to the public Channels drop almost everyday

I hope this helps if anyone is wondering about FPIPTV

Vader Streams after 45 days

BACKROUND

My sub was run by itself and without any other paid service for the entire duration, with the exception of a few different free 1 day trials. Otherwise if it wasn't doing what I wanted/needed it to do free addons were the only fall back option. Vader was run exclusively on both Kodi 17.1 and the latest SPMC (16.6.81), on wired 60mbps internet, and through either my Nvidia Shield or 4k FireTV2. While I don't consider myself Mr. Tech or anything, I have done enough research/tinkering that I'm confident that any trouble shooting done was both accurate and with every possibility exhausted to best isolate the issue.

My viewing times/habits are as follows: Wed - Sat I'd watch maybe an hour or 2 of ESPNs/FOXSPORTSs/MLB/WWE channels in the afternoon before work, then another 3-4 hours afterwards (usually 11pm est on) with random movie channel surfing mixed in. Sun - Tues I have completely off, so it would probably be used or running in the backround most of those days. I watch all the UFC and WWE PPVs, and Red Sox/Celtic games. All in all I'd estimate that this review is based on roughly 300+ hours of testing.

Setup

Vader's setup was probably the quickest/easiest of anything I've tried. Which is also big plus for somebody such as myself who likes to constantly tinker around with fresh Kodi/SPMC builds. No long webpage and/or epg string to input on my keyboard'less remote...just a quick and easily memorized repo address. Basically add source - install - done.

EPG

This was actually a rough spot initially coming out the gate, as it wasn't accurate and the time was all out of whack. Then about a week in they did a patch that completely fixed the accuracy, and I figured out that i could get the right time by changing the matchcenter time zone to match my own. From that point on it morphed into my pick for the best EPG going atm. Channels are filled up and accurate, and it really shines on a custom kodi skin such as Metropolis that color codes each type of listing (red - sports - light brown - movies - green - entertainment, ectt).

The above said lately it's had it's late night and isolated moments where I click out to guide and it's only showing what is currently on. This usually clears up rather quickly, such as the next time I click out to check, but it's certainly worth noting and keeps me from really stressing atm how much better Vader's EPG is then most of the others you'll find out there.

CHANNELS/QUALITY/RELIABILITY

Channel offerings are extremely solid, offering a wide variety of English based offerings. I never once found it lacking. Instead of 1000's of channels you'll probably never watch anyway it keeps it down to a couple hundred total, which also obviously helps limit the initial load time upon entering Kodi to a reasonable 15 seconds or so (maybe a tiny bit faster on the Shield). Picture quality across the board was also solid, which was about par for the course in comparison to any of the better services out there. Lots of 720p feeds, ectt. Same goes for channel reliability, in that it wasn't ranking as the very best in keeping channels up that I've tried, but it wasn't really any worse then most in that regard either. MLB and WWE channel feeds went down every once in a while, although it's ESPN was the best I've seen and Red Sox coverage has been flawless with the exception of one single game that didn't come on until a few minutes after it started.

Their daily matchcenter listing setup has been my personal favorite to date, which simply puts all the day's sporting events on one easily accessible list. Simply scroll down to the time your game is one and click in. I've also recently become a big fan of their Beta Playback feature, which doesn't adequately cover every channel (such as CBS for my girl's soaps dang it), but I seemed to have lucked out greatly with right-after-it-airs updates in regards to the select content I'd want/use it for and which Kodi tends to make me wait on (PPV's, Ultimate Fighter, Raw/Smackdown after I finish watching my Red Sox games, ectt).

Where Vader really shines though is in overall channel stability. By that I mean more then your typical click on something, watch it for 30 seconds, and then claim it off as some "it just works" win too. By and large and in terms of providing me with hours of uninterrupted viewing, Vader is bar none the best out there for Kodi. No other service I've tried, and I've tried every popular one that gets pushed over in the IPTV section here, can touch them there imo. In fact the only service outside Kodi that has even matched up has been a month long experience with IPGuys on a Dreamlink T1. I mean I just spent the last 6 hours before Raw came on tonight watching US ESPN, which tends to be one of the trickest channels to get a consistently solid feed on. It never buffered once or kicked me to guide, and that has just continued on since I switched over. Outside the obvious advertisement claims and fanboy hype, no other service has actually delivered like that for me to date. As far as I'm concerned, and in terms of spending an entire day in front of the TV, Vader has no equal in best performance potential right now. When it works of course, which brings me to...

THE BIG BUT

While mindfully still being infinitely better in this regard then any freebie option you'll find out there, as far as paid IPTV providers and keeping their service up as a whole goes Vader has ranked among the worst I've tried thus far. Which isn't to say those downtimes tend to normally play out to be hours long or anything...but yeah, comparatively speaking it goes down a lot. Granted it was worse in the very beginning of my 45 days, in which it went down every night for the first 2 weeks of my first sub. Sometimes for hours. Granted this was usually in the middle of the graveyard night, but as somebody who watches a ton of late night TV this still stood out to me. The following 2 weeks were a completely different story, as it rarely went down. Since re-subbing it's pretty much settled into a once day thing the last 2 weeks though, usually for 30 minutes and at some random and fairly unpredictable day or night time.

The most glaring instance of this was it went down during the Wrestlemania pre-show of all things and left me scrambling to find a working replacement (props to Peace Country here btw, which was quick to oblige and filled in beautifully). It did come on before the main show started though, and I should note that I haven't had an issue with any of the various UFC/WWE PPVs since. Every other one was solid all around.

CONCLUSION

As referenced above, I ended up re-subbing to Vader for the exact opposite reason that I didn't re-sub to Smoothstreams. For my individual needs/tastes, what it lacks in floor potential it more then makes up for in it's ceiling. When it works it's just a really, really great experience, which I find to be a lot better then anything else out there. Not for a lack of trying either, as those downtimes can obviously be annoying.

Take yesterday for example. Vader went down again, so being annoyed and once again debating a replacement I immediately went out and did a trial of the most currently hyped up service that is mostly dominating the reviews in this section atm. Watched my Red Sox game NP, but when it comes time to sit down and watch prime time ESPN for a couple hours afterwards...completely different story. It's having trouble keeping the feed up and stable. Meanwhile I can hear Vader (which had come back up shortly after going down, but since I had pulled the trigger on the trial I just left it running unwatched in the other room out of principle) in the backround running flawlessly, all but whispering to me "sorry about earlier, but you know if you switch back over to me in here I won't buffer or kick you to guide atm, and can you watch the last couple of hours in relative peace!". I finally gave in, and then repeated the same exact process earlier today before my trial ran out. Push come to shove, I just can't give that up regardless how frustrating it might be at times.

So anyway, for a final recommendation I'm going to basically split this into two camps. If you are the type that runs multiple IPTV subs at once and are going to have a backup, at $15 it's a BUY as one of those options. If you are the type that is only going to pay for one service at a time then it really boils down to that individual preference/need factor. When it works Vader is going to do everything better and offer more then something like Smoothstreams on Kodi, but it ultimately isn't going to give you that same "it's there and waiting even if it isn't as good" security level that SS would. I've also found that all of the free backup IPTV options that used to be decent have kinda fallen off lately, so the safety net factor for random/casual use isn't what it used to be either. Which all in all sums up to a YMMV and proceed with caution on that latter i guess.

My setup: MAG254 via 50mg LAN

Super quick and easy checkout, paid with paypal so no need to mess around with bank transfers or pay via credit card which I never like! MAC was activated within 60 seconds.

The service its self is top notch, all the HD channels are 100% smooth and have not stuttered once!

SD channels are all good as well, came across 1 or 2 which were not 100% smooth for my liking but I am very picky with streams so to the average person it would have seemed fine.

EPG 95% working and correct.

Support is excellent all questions were answered fast!

VOD is ok, enough of the latest TV and cinema releases to keep you going, needs a bit more to bring in level with other services, some videos seemed to buffer halfway through and you had to seek either back or forward to get back smooth again but nothing major.

Overall these are now my current IPTV provider!

MegaIPTV 24 Hour Test Review

Decided to give these a go after seeing some positive things.

My setup: MAG254 via 50mb LAN Connection

After a quick 99p bank transfer my account was activated within the hour.

First impressions were good, clean channel sections (which I like) movie, music, news....

VOD is one of the best I've come across!

Now onto the live TV, most of the HD channels had stuttering issues which I could never seem to fix it wasnt crazy bad but it wasn't 100% smooth, changed buffering settings, DNS, firmware... just was not having it.

SD channels most were ok but some of the UK Sky had issues (NatGeo at the time) which was unwatchable.

Came across about 5 or so channels on the UK section dead.

EPG for the most was working and up to date.

I made a support ticket about 12 hours ago asking for some advice on what I could do to fix the stuttering issues but still nothing so their support is lacking.

Overall not the worst but not the best, support needs to be better and get the bandwidth issue on HD channels sorted.

Epoch Hosting Review

I signed up for epoch (u/EpochHosting) after hearing about them on reddit. I've tried a few others in the past, and have a current subscription with rapidiptv. Rapid is fine but I was having a lot of buffering, sometimes unwatchable even though I'm on 100Mbps wired internet. I also found that it wasn't useful to me, as there were too many foreign channels, and the channel organisation and epg were all over the place.

Epoch are fabulous. It's been about a week, I've tried on two devices both through kodi, an amazon fire TV box, and an amazon fire TV stick and have had absolutely zero buffering. On some of the HD channels I have had an odd stutter (maybe once every half hour or so) but I am more inclined to blame the devices for this.

The channel selection is fantastic and stable - It is all UK, US and sport, so if you want foreign channels maybe look elsewhere but for me it's all I wanted. Another plus for me is no adult channels, which when you have a family is great. I don't need those channels and I don't want them cluttering up my set up where they could be stumbled upon.

I have gone for a 3 month full subscription with entertainment and sport. I don't watch a lot of sport, but I do watch the odd NHL or MBL game, so for the extra cost it was worth it for me. The only thing I wish is that there was a way to get a subscription without VOD. I run my own local library with more than enough content so VOD seems totally pointless to me, and it just clogs everything up. It puts it from a nice reasonable 400 channels, to over 3000, and even though the EPG is irrelevant for these channels it slows everything down when you first boot up trying to read an epg for these useless channels. Mind you I had the exact same issue with rapid, plus all the extra 2000 foreign channels, so I still see this as a better option, but I wouldn't mind being able to disable them.

Another amazing thing is the web interface epoch have. You can login anywhere and watch IPTV without needing to install anything on your device, which is great for laptops or when I want to watch something at work. Be aware it is obviously still only 1 concurrent stream at a time, although I saw a post on the facebook group that they are about to launch multiroom. This has also been the best support I have ever had. Paul seems to be extremely active. On the two occasions I asked a question on their facebook group, I got a response within 30 seconds, and a great conversation to try help my small issue (it was a kodi issue on my end, which Paul couldn't resolve but still tried his best).

All in all I couldn't be happier. Well, only slightly happier if I could turn off VOD from my package.

I would highly recommend them to anyone.

4/5.

P.S. I don't know what the stance on affiliate links is on this sub, but if you are keen to try them out and wouldn't mind using my affiliate link, let me know. Their rewards program seems pretty good too.

Do not buy from this seller , he will take your money and run. I got a test , it was excellent , paid for IPTV , as soon as money was received he blocked me on Skype and Gmail.

He is a conman !!
