Gears TV / Reloaded?

by calimansi808

Just wondering about gears tv. It looks pretty popular, but it doesn't get many reviews. Why is that? Is it best avoided? Are they still linked up with dexter?

Thanks.

I currently use gears tv. Watch basketball games and this past weekend the ppv fight Canelo vs Chavez jr. The stream never stuttered with the ppv fight. It was my first ppv fight with gears tv. So far so good. In the past I had a basketball game stuttered twice. Other than that seems ok. This is based on my experience using gears for about 2 months. Channels sometimes go down but they seem to be on top of it. Give it a try. Currently looking into trying other services just to compare.

IMHO, I think because it's "hyped up" on youtube, many redditors avoid it.

Avoided because of the guy running it, but the channel quality is very good

Personally, I never have used it because of the drama I've seen in the past. Try it out for a month if you are interested. That is the best way to know.

They're merging with Dexter tv! Apparently every channel will have a backup channel. Gears TV all the way.

I've been using the trial for the last day and it has been really, really good. Everything (in the USA) is either 720 or 1080 (mostly 1080). I haven't experienced any buffering even over LTE. I almost forgot that it's iptv and not cable.

Then seeing that nitro has been stealing channels from gears, I'm thinking just sticking with gears. I know he comes as a little arrogant, but you can do that when you're the best.

Is there any option for multiroom with Gears? That's what keeps me away. From what I understand you have to have 2 subscriptions at the full price for 2 devices. I have to have multiroom for my family.

Do gears support mag 256?

If you haven't been around Omar (Targetin1080p) for a while he can definitely come off as rubbing you the wrong way. But it's just he really doesn't have a filter (which can be good and bad).

But I haven't seen any other IPTV (at least Kodi based) that is as open and communicates with the group what happens (sometimes to a fault) as much as he and they do...

Anyone that says they turn off comments or erase all comments is ridiculous...

They even daily (or every other day) put up new posts for support or to notify channels down...

Of course it makes sense to put up new posts for this regularly because it keeps it easier to see all the issues or problems being brought up, instead of having one post with 1000s of comments and you can't tell where it all starts and ends...

I've used it for well over a year and as far as IPTV is concerned I haven't had any complaints...

I have really been enjoying Gears, but this Gears / Reloaded split apart looks like a mess to me! Seems like Gears will be Kodi, Reloaded will be apk, and both will be losing some channels... but the price for Gears stays the same, and Reloaded is even more!

Help me out here... does anyone else have better info?
