Peace Country IPTV review

So I have been using PeaceCountry for around 3 months now and thought it was time for a review. First off, customer service is top of the line, any little issue reported is always checked on almost immediately and if the issue cant be fixed they almost always give an ETA. The channel selection and quality is top notch with almost every channel in HD format and great quality, from time to time like with every other IPTV service, a channel will go down or begin to skip but that is not very often. The Movies on demand are awesome, I just purchased a 4K tv and I must say the Blueray quality movies look stunning, started to have movie nights more often as the movie selection is outstanding, several new movies are on there (Get Out, Alien covenant) with also very good quality which is always a plus. Bottom line I highly recommend PeaceCountry IPTV service and will continue to use said service in the upcoming future.

Pros: Great movies on demand selection, Very high quality channels and selection, Superb customer service, Multi-room pass available, Service is almost always uninterrupted.

Cons: Don't really see any cons to be honest.

Hope this review has helped.

Ripper IPTV Review

Hi

This is my first review of an IPTV service so I will try to be as fair as I can. I ordered a month sub for Ripper IPTV after my month sub to FabIPTV ran out. I feel like giving a service a fair crack.

My connection us 30mpbs Down 10mpbs Up. Not the fastest but it works. I'm running a Mag 256 and it connects to a VPN router.

My first impressions were that there were lots of channels, I mainly watch UK but do jump to the US/CA sports from time to time. The main channels in the UK are, Sports, Discovery channels, Comedy Central channels, Dave, Fox, Spike and Sky1.

After giving the service some time I started to notice that the EPG is a bit flakey. Sometimes it is there some times it's not. When it is there it's generally accurate. The Sports channels didn't buffer that much, or nothing that I didn't blame on my connection or my VPN. I did find that the Comedy Central channel sometimes had Sky Atlantic running on, or some other channel so this was a bit annoying at times.

The quality of the streams is generally good. Sometimes the sound is a bit quiet but its not awful I just turn it up.

I think the overall service is ok. It's not the best but the price is acceptable as well. The amoun of different countries is pretty impressive. I have to say that it is not Premiership football season so I haven't been able to test the channels under a load but this service is worth a go, at least for one month.

IF there is anything else you would like to know about the service let me know, I'll try to get you the info. My current sub runs about on the 15th so I can give you up to date info if the question is asked before then.

Thanks

FabIPTV - A comprehensive review

Website: 8/10 - I found their website to be easy to navigate. Their setup guides are all grouped together, and the channel list was easy enough to find. The only real complaint I have is the clarity on the two packages. I don’t want much sports -- and I have Smooth Streams as my secondary service, so, ya -- so I didn’t think I needed the ‘FULL’ package, but unable to quickly determine the difference between the entertainment channels and the full list, I went with full. Now having used the service for a few weeks, I realize the entertainment package is all I require. Now, I’m stuck with cancelling my package before its renewal, creating a new one, then, and reconfiguring Kodi for the new username/password which will then cause me to re-create my channel groupings in Kodi. Not necessarily a big deal, but still, easily avoided had I been more informed at the time of purchase.

Channels: 10/10 - I’m more than happy with the channel line-up. My review is from a very US-centric perspective, so take that for what you will. I have all the US channels I could want. What I found nice was that a lot are doubled up with either the Canadian or UK version as well. So my wife, who loves to binge on TLC, is able to almost always find a Say Yes to the Dress on due to multiple instances of the same channel.

Picture Quality: 8/10 - With Fab being a consortium of sources, this is hit and miss. CBS suffers a desaturated look as they source SS, and for whatever reason, SS’ CBS looks like it went through a shitty instagram filter. Some channels look very much 720, and others not-so-much. Overall, though, no complaints. I’m paying $12/mo for a shit-ton of channels, if some aren’t pure uncompressed 720 quality, I accept that as I’m not paying Time Warner $120/mo.

Reliability: 8/10 - This echos the above. Smooth Streams sourced, perfect. Others? Ehhh.. hit and miss. I removed a few of the investigation channels as more times than not they were MIA. You’ll see a lot of their non-SS sourced channels have watermarks -- or logos? - placed in the upper left corner. I’m trying to pay more attention to which ones are more reliable -- the E or the panda? -- to determine which provider they’re using sucks more than the others. I’ve found a lot of their UK channels are very reliable -- and usually high quality. However, again, I’ve seen a random Sky channel down or some weird direct tv message informing me I don’t receive that program. I’ve never changed the channel to find another one down, though. Meaning let’s say SKY Action is down, SKY Drama will still be up.

EPG: 7/10 - There ARE a few problems. AMC for example, one of the three possible channels of AMC has no data at all. There were a few other channels I found when setting it up that were flat wrong. Cartoon Network US has the UK’s data. Switching my channel out to the UK insures accurate EPG data, but again, I’m a Yank watching the UK version solely because I demand accurate EPGs. Also, and one of the biggest problems, is ALL the HBOs were wrong. Initially I even debated not doing a real sub (noticed during my 24 hour initial testing), but then realized, I fucking have HBO Now, so what do I need HBO for? Although that's definitely a major knock for a lot of people.

Set-Up: 10/10. I’ve tried a handful of sources. I’ve been a cord cutter for 6 years now, so even modifying Kodi addons at a python level doesn’t intimidate me. That said, I’ve never been so impressed with the configuration of an addon as I was fabiptv’s. Running primarily on a Shield-TV with no keyboard attached, typing in long URLs can get tedious (I usually defer to Yatse on my phone). With randomly generated username/password combinations with mix case, this can be cumbersome. One small error and you have a problem. Not only does Fab’s website offer auto tinyurl creation to streamline the process, but the FabIPTV addon will AUTOMATICALLY configure Simple IPTV for you! Wanting Live TV integration in Kodi, I was thrilled at that feature. After having the add-on auto-configure Simple IPTV, I disabled the FabIPTV addon and went on with life with a working EPG built-in to Kodi.

Payment Methods: 10/10. I’ve yet to renew a billing cycle, but it appears as if it’ll auto-renew. Even if that’s not the case, I’m glad to use Paypal rather than bitcoin. I’m not someone who uses bitcoin beyond my iptv world, so I don’t keep it on hand. I’d much rather link my credit card to my payal and quickly be done with it. In fact, these days I won’t even try a provider that doesn’t offer credit cards as I’m not going to spend an hour waiting on Circle to fucking send me my coins.

Support: N/A - I’ve yet to require any support. I’ve seen they have a forum, but it very much demands you set your username as the same as your FabIPTV username or risk being murdered in your sleep. Not knowing whether it’s my FabIPTV login -- my e-mail -- or my cryptic stream username, I’ve never bothered creating an account as I don’t want the world to know my e-mail address and I don’t want to look up the damn cryptic username. Along with that, and using SS exclusively for a year, I’m doubtful of how much channel support I could receive. With SS I’ve reported something on IRC, seen guy respond, and then watched the direct tv receiver change the channel instantly. Literally within 2 minutes of being told on IRC my channel was fixed. With FabIPTV using a variety of sources, I don’t know if I can expect that same kind of instant service, but it may be there. Again, I’ve never attempted to receive support so I can't give a truthful review of its ability to fix issues.

Overall, I’d give Fab a solid 9/10. For what I’m getting, I’m perfectly fine with what I’m spending. Perhaps there is a better provider out there, but I’m not going to bother trying to find it, because, why? Their service could only possibly be marginally better and there’s no way their EPG and set-up is as streamlined. I could, and admittedly do, go with a top tier provider as back-up, but then I’m limited to ONLY that provider’s channels. <3 SmoothStreams, but ya.

If you’re dipping your toes in the world of IPTV and want a family friendly interface that can please the whole family -- wife (shitty reality shows), kids (Every Disney/Nickelodeon on the planet), and dad (sports++), FabIPTV will certainly meet your criteria.

**update a few weeks later **

Now, I would definitely lower some scores. Reliability has went down significantly. It's much more common for me to switch to a channel that doesn't work. And since they use multiple providers they just have to turn around and report on some other forum and wait. EPG is still hit and miss. They'll quickly make changes you report, but due to their revolving door of inconsistent providers, who knows long it'll be accurate. It's selection of channels can't be beaten, but as someone with a sub to every legal streaming service and newshosting, I think I'm beginning to value reliability more than 3 international copies of the same programming.

Fabiptv review

Hi folks this is my fabiptv review.

Been using fabiptv entertainment package for almost 2 months now and it has been a great ride so far.

The channels are nice quality for both SD and HD with a minimal amount of kicks, stuttering or freezes.

I really like the fact that they offer great support and that you can use a mag, kodi, android and pc all with the same account (never at the same time though).

I have a mixture of different devices like a mag250, android boxes and pc's and fabiptv works great on all of them.

I can really recommend fabiptv to anyone looking for a English focused channel provider.

That's it I guess hope it helps some of you to make a good choice and remember to visit fabiptv.com for any further information.

Greetings from Gentox

OK2 Review

I've been trying this stalker server (s1.welcm.tv) for the last 2 weeks on my T1 and it's been pretty good. It's got plenty of channels, maybe not as huge as Express or Voodoo, but still a lot https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nPP7gVy6q14

Biggest highlight for me is its EPG. It's got 99% of all CA, USA and UK channels populated, including sports channels. However, I did notice that the UK channels listings were about an hour off (I'm in the eastern time zone).

Picture quality is not as good as Express but far better than Ipguys and while I'm not a heavy user, it seemed to me that channel reliability/uptime is pretty decent as well.

Downside for those concerned is that it has no channels with catchup. VOD collection seemed decent, but again not as good as Express or some others.

Might be worth a try for some.

EDIT: This may be iptvsubs and not OK2.

Ace TV Review - New Zealand

Hey guys, just finished a 24 hour trial of Ace TV after using Fab for a couple of months.

While I was on Fab I would get freezing/ buffering issues that made some on the HD and all of the FHD channels unwatchable, I put this down to living all the way in little old NZ even though I was on 100mbit fibre.

Well after moving to Ace turns out I was totally wrong, I had no buffering issues, everything was smooth and quick and I've been very impressed. I was quite surprised how quickly I got my trial sub as well given that it would have been 3am where they are so good work!

Thanks guys I'm definitely going to get a sub, and may get my Dad one now that he's retired.

Ace-TV review

Although I've cardshared for years and been into KODI since it was on the original XBOX I've never really dabbled in IPTV except via sketchy free addons.

Did a month sub to Ultimatemania which was OK. However considering the hype amongst KODI heads I was very dissapointed I couldnt easily get it working with the PVR part of KODI (PVR IPTV Simple Client). I did succeed eventually but it was a proper hack. Channel selection was pretty poor, offering little HD content outside of the sports and movies. Most of the UK HD channels were GlobeIPTV. I tried to merge the UM channels with Freesat HD feeds from TVHeadend but it was simply too much of a faff and I couldnt get the two epg sources synced up properly in KODI's PVR. This alone drove my wife to distraction. Overall that service was not for me.

Dunno where i found Ace-TV but I'm glad I did, its like chalk n cheese. Signed up for a trial. Copy and pasted the .m3u & epg links into KODI. BINGO. Everything up and running in minutes. First thing is the EPG. I have wrestled with program guides, channel orders and groups for years. My Mrs is never quite happy. Not anymore.... Channels are laid out well with everything grouped up nicely. Pretty much all UK channels offer HD and SD feeds which is really nice after only having SD for so long on the card share. EPG seems accurate for UK channels although if you're not from the US or UK you might find it lacking with many euro stations not having guide data. Something to look out for maybe? Video On Demand is supplied through both the .m3u and a KODI addon. My guess is that its not the biggest on demand section but its great for recent movies at decent quality. A quick call to support and I learned the TV channels don't change in the .m3u only the VOD is updated regularly. So I took the executive decision to run the .m3u locally. Clear out all the VOD related stuff and add my Freesat feeds from TVHeadend. BINGO a lovely EPG with real HD on the channels my wife watches the most. Ive found Ace to be very reliable. Watched the whole F1 weekend last week and it didnt skip a beat I've also have left channels on all night to come down and find them still running in the morning. Support is spot on. Every ticket has been responded to promptly and resolved without issue. The guys seem to genuinely keen to provide a good service.

As you can see, i've not tried many services but you could do a lot worse than pony up a tenner to give it a crack.

Newbies Trials to get Canadian IPTV... so far Sucks

Looked like IPTV66 was the best... WRONG Freeze, buffer, sucks Was told VOD works on NFPS, but found out it was the same crew... so NOPE! Tried IPTVSubs... Looks so so. Some freezing, vods not many and some do not work. Possible Looked at NecroIPTV, Bitcoin only.. but wants all your data??? doesnt make sense. Wanted to test PeaceCountry, but got lost in how to sign up and got a refund, but zero customer service. Got a couple more. Funny thing is I am bringing about 5-15 people with me.... so these guys are loosing alot of possible subs... doesnt make sense either. Maybe I am old fashioned that good service and customer support meant more business.

If you are a IPTV provider that has FAST tv in Canada with TSN. PM me.

Service has been exceptional and works on all devices flawlessly. I am sports fan so I am super satisfied. I only have one request. Could you add MTV Jams to the US/CA music lineup. It's an urban channel so for some reason it doesn't get as much publicity as MTV Hits but it is the perfect channel if you enjoy R&B and Hip-Hop videos.

REVIEW: Stay away from FABIPTV!!!! And what I am using today.. Gear TV..

Its was OK the first month or so I had it.. I mean there was a lot of freezes and pauses but I lived with it as I liked the channel lineup.

BUT then the last 3 weeks it went to total CRAP..

Plus the Admins became REALLY thin skinned when I would open a ticket.. To the point we had a blow up and they got into a pissing contest with me... Dont get into a pissing contest with me. I will piss all over you punks. (This issue seems common among a lot of providers.. I can only assume its because a lot of the folks running these are snot-nosed immature punks that dont know how to handle criticism or deal with customers).. I get it.. I am only paying 10+ a month.. But I expect more then shit service which is what ended up happening with FAB.. When a channel(s) are down for hours.. And not just one day. But over many days. That is it.. You dont deserve 10 cents from me if you dont know what your doing)

Where I went? Gear TV.. My God what a difference.. Did not realize how bad FAB really was.. In 5 days I have had 2 slight freezes.. Now I have heard the Admin of Gear also can be asses if you complain so we shall see.. But so far its freaking night and day between FAB and Gear.. Pay the extra 3 or 4 bucks.. So worth it..

Gears TV after a week

IMPORTANT EDIT NOTE - Took this mostly positive review down, since Gear's service quality dropped off considerably since the day after I posted this review (which I finally got to confirm firsthand today. wow it's terrible).

Apparently they weren't really interested in providing a server setup that could actually handle a huge influx of subs, and to pile on to that took the cheesy damage control route of disabling face book comments and deleting a lot of bad feedback that they were getting. Weak move guys, especially on Youtube where you talked a LOT of trash about being so much better then everybody else.

My current recommendation stands firm at a RESEARCH THE RECENT FEEDBACK AND DEFINITELY STEER CLEAR.

Wss premium. Had this for about 3 weeks now very good so far got all uk channels (quality is excellent)lots of foreign (dont know the quality never watched any) each channel has a sd and hd version some have more than one stream eg sports ( very handy). Prices seem fair to me and are about the same as others ive seen. Also had ppv channels.

VOD is a bit bare and not many latest films no tv series doesnt bother me as i use kodi .

Epg. Not brilliant but does the job (not a deal breaker for me )

Easy to get set up and good communication whenever i emailed or sent a ticket

All in all a good service would recommend especially for uk and sports

BoomVader review

After trying two other iptv services(IPTV lite and Ace TV) I decided to try BoomVader and I can say leaps and bounds better than the other two. The stream quality is excellent and most channels seem to be working as far as I can tell. But the real winner with this service is the VOD, its leaps and bounds better than ACE and IPTV lite, I always had buffering issues with ace VOD and IPtv lite and decided these services had little value due to this problem, as well the BoomVader VOD library is much larger than the other two. I only watch english programming and this has all the channels from Can, US and UK that you can need, it has a good TV guide with Kodi and an addon skin that after installing makes searching VOD very easy and intuitive.

The only negative is sports, compared to my cable subscription even slow paced sports like baseball and golf are jittery(hockey and other fast paced sports I find unwatchable but this problem was even worse on my other subscriptions that I tried) and i find an obvious downgrade from an actual paid for cable broadcast. However its good enough for WWE and Boxing/UFC which I would never pay 50 60 for ppv but am happy to watch a stream and put up with a lower quality.

To conclude an excellent service for English language TV and VOD, sports content is massive but I still switch to cable to watch baseball, hockey or other sports shows that I get with my basic cable subscription as I find the sports streams are of an inferior quality to what you can get from a legal source.

Necro IPTV - F1 focused review - A Pretty website, but meh service.

I'll try to keep this short for any other F1 fans looking into a high quality IPTV provider for the rest of the season. I tried Necro since they're one of the few that has Sky F1 listed as 1080p. Can't find any with 50 FPS, even at 720p. Sounds good, so I tested a trial, then got a month based on that.

The trial got 1080p for qualify and the race, but reverted back to 720p for everything else, and even swapped a few times during the 1080p sessions. Despite that I figured it'd consistently get the 1080p for races, even if there were a few drops to 720p here and there.

A few weeks into my month and things are quite different. I haven't seen the 1080p channel hit 1080p. It has it in the name, but nope it's 720p. I've had multiple tickets replied to with basically we're aware, then instantly closed. On top of that the stream gets stuck in a loop every hour or so. It'll repeat the same 10-20 second clip, go to encoding artifacts, repeat, then fully drop. It's usually back in 1-2 minutes, but in real time F1 that's a massive amount of time.

One good thing is it's within about 20-30 seconds of live most of the time, but some others I trialed were even closer so I'll probably give them a go and report back, good or bad. I've still got a bit left on Necro so it'll stick as a backup, but at this rate I won't be renewing.

GEM IPTV - I would stay away

http://gemcccam.com/

First post here so apologies if it's not detailed enough. I recently purchased a 1 month subscription because I've heard some good reviews about them. I have a fiber (100 mb/s) so streaming shouldn't be a problem. first 2 hours of playing with the channels it was very clear that the service is not stable at all. Some of the issues encountered:

  • Buffering: I couldn't watch one channel for more than a couple of minutes without continuous buffering.
  • Most channels just don't work (can't play video error)
  • Most channels have the wrong name on them

Anyway I've requested a refund exactly after two hours. They say on their website and I quote "100% Money back guarantee Gemcccam lets you ask for full refund money for any reason on 5 days only" It's been 3 days since my request and I didn't even get one reply so obviously I won't get any money back. In Summary, stay away from these guys.

EDIT: They finally gave me a full refund. Other points remain the same.

Cheers,

I really enjoy ThePlayersKlub

Not a fan of the free version, but I've had 0 issues with the paid version. ($5 a month)

All MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL channels

Have streamed the last 2 UFC PPV's with no issue.

Has almost every channel I ever would watch.

The built in PVR support is a plus.

The only downside I've found is the guide is unreliable(which is a non issue for me)

Overall I couldn't be happier for 5 bucks a month.

Anyone else use it?
