I've been looking at alternatives to paytv providers, the monthly costs are getting out of hand now. A friend in the US switched to IPTV and suggested I gave it a go, my TV had SmartIPTV already installed. Having read through a few posts on this group I decided to take the plunge. Want to let others in search for a provider know about my good experience with this chap and his service. It's being sold here on reddit by u/dandy2005 and you can find him posting in r/iptvresellers (or that is where i found him).

Service is good, lots of channels from everywhere…of course I don’t use them all but at least there is something for everyone in there. Some go down every now and then but apparently they come back fast; guy said they have backup servers. I'm personally satisfied and I do recommend you talk to him!

Oh…I should add that it turned out the TV version didn't work too well. I had an old FireTV stick which I managed to resurrect though. Again, that didn't work too well. The young man literally stayed online hours talking to me and trying to come up with solutions to the issue, teaching me about VPNs, etc. Solved it with his recommendation to get VPN installed, but the old FireTV Stick (1st generation) wasn't compatible with VPN! I ordered a new 4k FireTV stick and it works like a charm. I have signed up for an initial 1 month period, but if all goes well I will continue with a 12 month subscription. I'm not set up using Amazon FireTV Stick running with NordVPN and SmartIPTV So thanks u/dandy2005 ! Drop him a line if you're where I was at last week.
