I've been a victim of using a service and then having it snatched away
First it was Vader's. I had them for over a year and then poof....gone overnight.
A week ago, it was gearz so I've been on the hunt for something different.
People told me to try helix and I did - buffer city. Actually I tried a bunch and none were very good, so I just kind of gave up
Yesterday, I got a notification that someone posted about ultrastreamz. I saw some decent feedback, so replied and the owner (I think) , shot me a message and set me up with a day long trial
Short story - I'm sold. I found my new IPTV. full stop.
Long story - the channel line up is solid for what I need - mostly US channels and sports. Cable news , UFC and boxing are my hot buttons.
Things you might want to know
Setup - it was easy. He gives you instructions to download an app. I had it set up on my shield with a channel playing in under 5 minutes.
Price - I saw at least one person whine about the price. It's like $20 for 2 connections ( I believe).
My reaction to that is.....really? There are dozens of $5 and $10 IPTV subs, but most of us know that the quality and support for most of them isn't very good
I'll gladly pay $20 for HD quality , little buffering, good service , etc
Features...
EPG - this is the only thing I was a little disappointed with. The layout is organized neatly and channels are easy to find, but I prefer the Mayfair type of EPG . Its possible I'm missing something because I didn't tinker with settings at all.
Multi window - I didn't mess with it much but seemed to work like it should
Recording - again, I didn't mess with it much, but I selected a show to record, gave permission to access my storage and it seemed to work like it should
Catch-up - from what I could see most channels had 2 or 3 days of catch-up available, which worked flawlessly for me on the channels I tried
Sports - wide variety and the ones I tried not only worked , but were great quality.
Service - I sent probably 4 different messages with questions and each time was answered in 10 minutes. He told me I'd be set up right after 1 and I was
Payment - I still can't figure out how to easily but crypto like Bitcoin , so the fact he accepted cash app, venmo,PayPal and some other methods was a big plus for me
Bottom line - if you want to troll the review sub all day trying service after service, you can do that.
If you would prefer to just pay and then watch quality streams without hassle? This is a great choice.
Disclosure - I'm not a reseller trying to trick you into buying something. Before yesterday I didn't know the service existed and I have NO relationship with the provider personally or otherwise.
I give reviews for people who are like I was - new to the scene with little knowledge so they don't get scammed and taken for hundreds of dollars from scammers messaging them about their super duper deal and then disappearing or downloading app after app and paying $10 after $10 only to learn your buying the same crappy service from different resellers.
In going to provide a link to this review to the provider so that he can answer technical questions
I of course would be more than happy to answer questions about my experience with the service
Lets keep in mind youve only had the service for a day
