Helix... Beware!

by TheDrake0227

I have been using Helix for about 6 months. Up to now everything was pretty good. The way I pay for IPTV is by using Visa or Mastercard gift cards. I really don't want my name associated with it and I certainly don't want to give them my CC info. I had been using a secondary website for Helix renewals that still offered Paypal. But, I got an email from Helix stating that they have shut that down and no longer offer Paypal as a payment choice. So, I go to their regular website to pay with my Mastercard gift card. The payment would not go through, so I couldn't renew, no biggie as I have a backup. Yesterday I go to my backup's website to renew and the payment won't go through (same gift card). I log into the Vanilla website to check the balance of the gift card. There was a charge that went through the day after I tried to renew with Helix for over $80, the gift card balance was now less than $5. So, I learned a lesson, I will only use a service if they offer payment through Paypal.

Be careful out there.

On the main helix website. They clearly state that they are currently having issues with their payment process. I've been with them a year plus very little to no issues. After the raid they were one of the fastest to come back up and maintain. On top of it, they have REGULAR status updates on their main site.

From the posts on here in recent weeks looks like helix is getting ready to pack up and run

Good luck as most providers now steer away from paypal. If you find a decent one let me know as I would be interested also.

I personally never renew for more than 3 months at a time and that way I'm never out very much money if the service shuts down.

That being said, I've been with Eternal tv for a couple years and haven't had any issues with them at all.

OP, use Privacy it'll save you the headaches. You can limit and make it one time etc.

Pay with Bitcoin!!

That's what it was invented for.

I used to have helix but switched to iptv007 for 2 reasons .

1- Helix quality went down in the last month or 2

2- Helix now only accept credit card

Off topic, but how has everyone's experience been with Helix' UK Sport recently (BT/Sky) ? BT in particular, but Sky to an extent as well, has been almost unwatchable at times. Thinking of cancelling, unless it's an issue on my side (which I don't think is the case).

Skeptical62

I'm not recommending Helix but this reseller uses paypal.

Good luck, you don't have to pay with PayPal to subscribe to IPTV services, but the best way to pay is to pay by the month.

Wow r they in it just for money? Did they renew your subscription after withdrawing money??? Looks like the dont want to fix the payment. I had problems paying to with many tickets and got only standard reply’s

I renewed with them on the 11th using MasterCard. Just checked my statement and all is well. Will be looking into bitcoin though as they have also advised this along with using a VPN to stream (which I already do)

My current sub uses Paypal, UK based. If anyone is interested I can invite to discord server for trials etc.
