came across /u/stream2016 advertising this IPTV provider, I bought a 24hr trial and since purchase, it worked for 5mins and then stopped working altogether. Can't even re-download the m3u file with the service being down and can't connect to a single channel

Yeah, I have tried them too. 30% of the channels do not work at all.
I don't know, I haven't had any issues with their service. No real buffering, they have a working French Category and Channels, great streams for NBA and NFL. They replied to my email and even answered my questions.

If you really purchased a trial send your user name here, or make a video and show the stoping channels in small video and upload it to the community. Many costumers are satisfied with our new service and also we were the first who accept new clients for over 3 weeks till now everything is fine. Some sports Channels review
