I'm based in Canada and have been using mobdro and bell Fibe tv to watch tv. Recently I moved to another area and my ISP's IPTV service is 60 Canadian dollars a month. At that point I knew I had to look for other options. A friend of mine (also a newbie) has been using fiootv and recommended it to me. At half the cost of My ISP IPTV it felt too good to be true. With no reviews and no information online I did the only logical thing. I signed up!
First thing the service looks nothing as advertised. It uses GoLive to broadcast and it definately doesn't have 4000 channels. It does support 5 devices so that's pretty good. Unfortunately if you're in Ontario and you want CP24 the most difficult channel to stream in HD you will not find it in HD here. There are alot of dead channels and some lagging. Comedy and Cartoon Network seem to have issues I cannot find a solution for. Sports seem to work fine but there were no games since I got it. So far it seems stable but the quality for most of the channels is noticeably low. Although the website is misleading i wouldn't call it a scam specially with their international channels. As a newbie this was a good first IPTV for me to do more research and understand the market. I wouldn't recommend this IPTV service if you need Canadian, comedy or cartoon network channels. I'll be looking around for something a little more stable with much better quality
Take a look at these reviews. I could give you a better idea of what's out there.
