Think everyone across all the providers are having that problem. I know I am
Heard helix where a good provider..maybe it’s the updates they have too push to get back where they where before the xtream take down
Everyone is struggling at the moment, you just have to be patient. I'm watching the Spurs game at the moment but took a while to get a stream
Helix was my only provider who didn't go down during this mess. There has been a bit more buffering than normal over the last few days but it is still watchable.
Helix have been solid until the issues, im happy to wait it out with them
Got this automated reply when I contacted Helix.
THIS IS AN AUTOMATED MESSAGE. IF YOU NEED ADDITIONAL HELP BEYOND THIS MESSAGE PLEASE REPLY BACK.
Thank you for your ticket. As you may know a software we use for our service has been recently shut down. They are the industry standard and 99% of providers like us use them. If you want find out more about it, please search for iptv in the news.
The issue is not exclusive to our service, it is world wide. As the industry move to a new software, we may experience service interruptions.
Most streams are up and working. US and UK channels are mostly working. Any down channels we will be actively working to fix with more and more coming online each day.
Please note:
Due to the extraordinarily amount of tickets, our responses may be delayed. Some channels may take longer to fix as our sources are also adjusting to this new reality.
EPL, UFC, PPV, NHL, MLB and NFL will be properly covered this weekend
NOTE: IF YOU ARE IN THE UK AND IRELAND, PLEASE USE A VPN DURING EPL MATCHTIME FOR UNINTERRUPTED VIEWING.
We may also use automated messages to rely to tickets en mass.
If your query is not regrading the above issue which effects channels please feel free to reply and we will respond to you as soon as possible.
Thanks,
Helix Support
Seems it's to do with the xtreme codes raid. Haven't had any issues until this raid.
I'm worried though, because now that other organisations know that taking down xtreme codes takes down the majority of providers, I've a feeling organisations in other countries will try to go after xtreme for a permanent shutdown.
I was having issues with a lot of channels last night, I logged out and back in and that helped a bit. This morning I am seeing more working channels. I am thinking they are getting things back up as fast as they can.
Guess we just need to wait and see how this plays out I am with helix but it’s buffer central
At the moment from 7034 live channel there are only 1423 working so about 21% working channels hope this improve with time.
Found Helix to be pretty good but probably won't renew in a weeks time and give them chance to sort everything out, by backup is still working for most things.
They are migrating servers.
Cheers guys will give it something to see if it improves
Is everyone else still down?
Just renewed my Helix a couple of days ago. My other iptv service went down but Helix stayed on. Sky Sports and BT sporadically going of for a bit but other than that it's been fine, no real issue with buffering here. I have one extra connection and both working.
What app are you using I'm using the tv app version 2.1 still got nothing .
Question, has Helix channels from The Netherlands?
I've been with Helix for almost a year and really like it -- they had their share of problems recently but now seem to be slowly stabilizing. That being said, all the Brazil channels I watch are still down which sucks but I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt and waiting it out.
Overall I find their channel lineup and pricing to be the best one out there. the only downside for me is their EPG but I solved that with XML-TV and XEEV
Helix good
Every IPTV service will have bad moments from time to time. That's why it's good to have a backup.
I use helix and service was pretty good prior to the recent Shenanigans lol you just got to wait it out see what happens
