mma-tv (smoothstreams)

Bit the bullet and subscribed to the so called holy grail of sports.

Unfortunately it’s been nothing short of a disaster, despite tinkering with server locations just about every single thing I’ve watched will either freeze or kick me out of the channel altogether. Not to mention a heap of dead links particularly for anything that’s meant to be on a uk channel. The picture quality of the channels will be no better than your regular monthly iptv sub for the most part.

The only thing that stops me from giving this a complete burial is that I conceed the Canadian sports channels are of far higher quality than anything you will get elsewhere, 60fps Sportsnet channels I haven’t been able to find anywhere, I will give them credit for that, aside from that anything on there can be found on a regular sub, most providers even stick ppvs in a vod section hours after it’s aired, no go with that here.

I can see why people would have been raving about this back in 2015 or something, but in 2019 you can and will find better

I think a lot of the SS fandom comes from the fact they've been around forever, I myself have been on consistently since 2011. At the end of the day it really depends on your location and your needs. For US/CA content it's quite reliable if you're located in NA, it gets more dicey if your main objective is getting EU content, especially if you're not close to one of the servers. I wouldn't neccesarily call it the holy grail but it's more than adequate for what I personally require. If you're looking for an all in one IPTV service, want a ton of channels from all over the world, or mostly want European sports there are better options out there. On the other hand if you want NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, and boxing and MMA PPV's it is very reliable.

Update since last week - having a much better time of it. Its playing everything i've thrown at it very well from soccer matches to tennis, formula 1, baseball and much to my surprise aussie sports.

On average i might get a couple of seconds of buffering per soccer match, watching aussie rules football where it goes for 3 hours it seems to temporarily freeze for 5-10 seconds early in the stream and then its close to flawless. More than acceptable.

I havent changed a single setting.

With mma-tv you can do paypal for 6-12 months only so thats your best bit if bitcoin confuses you.

Further update - well my original review looks a bit silly now, I have numerous providers and this was the only that stood up to the 3pm epl matches. Flawless streaming. I’m not greedy I can handle a bit of buffering but this was perfection.

I said originally that my review will be completely honest the good and the bad, the good is far outweighing the bad now.

Epicstream has TSN and SN Ont in 60fps

Man, you are giving SS a hiding all over reddit, which is good, because it will hopefully turn people away from them, the less in the know the better.

I also think a big problem of yours is that you are in Australia. The asian servers are crap, and the best best for AUS/NZ are the US servers, and they can also be problematic for Oceania users. I send links to mates in Aus and NZ for them to watch using different servers, and its difficult sometimes. West Coast US seem to be the best.

The UK links I have no problems with at all. Apart from the shit quality on Sky Sports. BT Sports all work fine, 82-85 are also UK channels (BBC, ITV 4HD etc) and they are also all fine. And the majority of their US and CA channels are all local, so 60 fps all over the show.

Nice review, thanks. Unfortunately it's almost impossible to sign up for this one. Registering requires an invite, and to get that invite you have to know someone already using it. I used to have an account years ago but let it lapse.

This was the first IPTV provider I know of to embrace chromecast. For that I will remember them always. Sadly it doesn't look like I will ever connect again (too hard to get an account). I'd be happy to use paypal to sign up for 12 months.

I'm going to do some reviews of other IPTV providers on here soon and it will be from an Australian user perspective. If you are in europe I'm sure you have a wide range of great IPTV providers to choose from but us down here, we have to be a bit more discerning or face constant buffering.

If anyone knows how to sign up to this mob without selling a kidney, let me know.

Are you using it thru Kodi?

So I want to give it a try. I went on and bought some BTCs. But when I tried to pay MMA-tv, I got no adres to send to. I tried to get in touch with support but no answer. So I think i will give IPTV007 a try as suggested on the last post.

Thank you for your kind words :)

mont3000

Looks to be shutdown. Where to next?

badleaders

use to be with them long time ago and ended with a very bad experience then i switched to iptv007 and for the last 1 year am so satisfied , other subs i recommend iptveu(.com) , helix , iptvlux ..

They are crap, atleast if your in the UK, the UK servers went down last year and didn't come back months later, despite repeatedly asking in their support chat; which they never answer. Eventually just let sub run out and joined squirrel, much better service and admin actually respond and fix things.

I know there were blocks there will be more this new season, my vpn worked fine on other providers just not mma-tv.net, they have the worst support of any provider I've used which is a fair few.
