Aera 51 restream scam.

by JDstreams2000

So I've been looking for restreams for my IPTV service, and heard a lot of good things about their own IPTV service, even though they have stopped selling them now. They sent me a test and they looked great, so I sent them $300 dollars for 100 connections. The moment I sent the money the guy switched his Skype off, and ignored my emails. After waiting for 2 days my business partner decided to email him from his email pretending to be a different customer. He got an instant reply now saying he doesn't really sell restreams unless you want to pay $750 for 100 connection with no UK, which is rediculous. He then obviously pulled him up on this and just got an email back saying "F**k off." We have never received a refund from him, or what we paid for. Hope this will help other people from being scammed by them.

Why is every talking about resellers. This is restreams. Channels to use on my IPTV server. When I say connections this what they call how many channels, at a time, you can use from them. Yes I know many people with area 51 who say it's great, but their just resellers or users. I was giving thier email address by one of their resellers, who is my friend.

i bought a sub with them using Bitcoins some months ago and after the payment was made, the account was not activated. I opened ticket and they said i have no account and no payment received. They then deleted my account.

I opened another account and they deleted it again. Either the whole company is a thief/scam or someone working with them is ripping people off

what website did you use? there are a few area 51 rip off sites. But they haven't done resellers in a while.

JDstreams2000

Not got it back yet though.

They've never done resellers. They just got rid of locals, and they also don't have that Soccer thing people care about. I'm not gonna renew once mine is up. They definitely have UK.

Same happened to me with some dude from here.

In one other forum same case with 2 different users , they pay then they received nothing from Area51 am not sure if i can post the link here but anyways i will make it short , one of the guys bought lines from STIPTV ( 100 ) then Area51 guys on skype offered him ( 200 ) in the price of 150 line so they guy switched from stiptv to Aera 51 and received nothing , he did not open any paypal dispute since he is also worried he get caught selling iptv ...

Aera 51 knows that who is being restreams are also in the redline of paypal that is why they are not so worried about disputes

I've had area51 for over a year as my back up. None of the emails listed are the one I use. So far, no issues

I have Area51. It's awesome, but they aren't taking new clients now, in fact they haven't been since July. I've had it for over a year now and Sportz.tv for about 3 months. Since Sportz got rid of their VOD they aren't as good a deal, but for 3 devices for $15 you could do worse. Rarely get bufferring, & usually only on PPV. In which case, you just go to another channel, then go back & reload it.

I had Area 51 for nearly a year. Originally they were decent. For $5 a month you can’t go too wrong - or so I thought. Month after month they kept taking away channels. Then the XC situation went down and they lost 90% of channels and maybe recovered 60% when all was said and done. Channels were sketchy at best. We watch mostly the UK channels and one day they are fine the next they are down. EPG rarely worked on UK channels. Now they are having payment issues claiming “your card was declined” and yet I saw my billing statement and it showed payment pending!

They would argue with me saying my card was the problem when it wasn’t. It was their system. They were our primary but dropping them now and going to Siptv!
