Area 51 brief review.

by rommie30

About 200 us channels, indian, cabadian, rusdian, adult,. Every ppv event, wwe network, yes network, sunday ticket, nba league pass. Very very little buffering even during heavy use times. The price is amazing for 1 connection. And most important the customer service is AMAZING!!! If you ever have a question or issue they often reply within ten minutes and are incredible at what they do. I highly recommend.

For anyone else wondering:
No premier league
No USA locals
No VOD

Area 51 is never open for new subs

philly_jeff215

I've been using Area 51 for about a year now and I can second the review.

I did have a sub its 2 connections btw, a few days after I got it they dropped uk sports which pissed me of as thats mainly what I signed up for, I did give the other channels a whirl, not too bad, 6/10 for me

bad8511

dropped them, there is much better out there.

dagotee19

They are like cable, remove tons of channels and raise the price! I had them for almost 2 years and just dumped them for that reason. If I wanted that I woulda stuck with DirecTV.

I used to have Area51 i had a bad experience with them specially with there support and buffering channels . Switched to iptv007 and its been almost 3 months since i left Area51 and i still hear the same about them, bad customer support and a lot of buffer.

I understand the Buffering might be my connection/device/ location ext... mayb for other Area51 does not buffer and so on , but what about CUSTOMER SERVICE ??

I don’t know why iptv providers don’t understand that for us users customer support is the most important thing since there is hundreds of iptv services out there and somehow all restream from each other so what makes difference is customer support

ViperIsOP

As someone else said, it is actually 2 Connections.

It's good but if you set a channel as favorite on the app, and they remove the channel, you have a blank space you can't get rid of in your favorites.

Love4electronica

Fuck...I need this service now but they just closed taking new orders... This is exactly what my fiance & I are looking for. Guess I'll just get a temp one till they open back up again.

bad8511

Not sure if I can mention it here

nohotep

Pretty sure it's actually 3 connections for $7. I've had it for a few months and there is almost no buffering to speak of. Wish I had signed up for a year, have to wait for signups to open again to do that.

Much better out there pricewise and for HD quality of streams. Vod is a must for watching replays of UFC, WWE and boxing PPVs whenever I want. Locals are a must to for sport backups for NFL, baseball and NBA. For the sports fanatic this is no dice!

Matttphew

Does anyone know when they open the registrations?

docwho10th

Primestreams...the owner is a sports fanatic....gets all kinds of fucked up Payperviews from all over the world. MUCH more than any of the other providers. Take for instance Combat wrestling...people getting STABBED and IMPALED and going to the hospital........YES PLEASE! ;-) Here is "fans bring the weapons night". YOU make the weapon...THEY use it! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ESdOCv8aNUE

I had Area 51 for nearly a year. Originally they were decent. For $5 a month you can’t go too wrong - or so I thought. Month after month they kept taking away channels. Then the XC situation went down and they lost 90% of channels and maybe recovered 60% when all was said and done. Channels were sketchy at best. We watch mostly the UK channels and one day they are fine the next they are down. EPG rarely worked on UK channels. Now they are having payment issues claiming “your card was declined” and yet I saw my billing statement and it showed payment pending!

They would argue with me saying my card was the problem when it wasn’t. It was their system. They were our primary but dropping them now and going to Siptv!
