Dark Media 2nd chance?? My bad!!

So, I tried Dark Media a few months back and liked a lot about it... but most importantly.... I didn't like the buffering... So, I let my sub run out and deleted it.... Moved on to other services.... Recently, Dark Media came out with their new app... looks like a half knock off of Tivimate.... I went through reddit and different discords... different reviews and I have noticed a ton of new reviews.. (Probably Vaders refugees) And most of the reviews were pretty positive... Nobody claiming any (More then normal) buffering issues.. So, I thought to myself.. Hmmmm.. New app, new and good reviews.. Maybe they have made some changes.... I took a second roll of the dice.... Purchased a subscription.... (Again).. downloaded the new app.... I turn on a regular channel I normally watch... 20 minutes in and everything so far A-OK!! Nice.... Then about an hour in.. buffer zone just like last time.. changed channels.... More buffering... this is about 4:30pm Pacific time... around the time that IPTV traffic starts to hit my area.. I check a couple other services I use to see if they are having any issues.. Jarvis, Ology, Gears.... (By the way... this is my last month with gears... I tried to hold on to see if they would get 60fps because their quality is horrible.. they now show it as 60fps and it looks just as crappy).. Sorry, back to the review.. So, after trying my regulars and seeing that they are all working perfectly... I realize... Yup, you greedy bastard.. You had to have more and more... and it bit me in the ass... another month of paid service I won't use...

I did do the normal cache clearing.... I restared my router/modem, checked connections, changed DNS.... I am running 300mbs ethernet on my Nvidia Shield.. i checked it with and without a VPN.... Never throttled by my internet provider on any other services I use...

If it really does work for you... You are lucky... For me... I don't get the hype... BUFFER ZONE!!

You are not the only one. The new app is pure garbage very slow and unresponsive. Not sure what’s all the fuss about. And yes looks very much like tivimate. In regards to buffering, almost every single channel did buffer. I had their trial for 5 min, deleted app, and used M3u in tivimate, less buffering, but still not acceptable.

DM has been working for me for almost a year straight. I get buffering every so often but nothing to cry about since it happens so seldom. Every provider gets buffering. The new 2.0 app is crazy good and I'm sure it's only the beginning of a beautiful thing. It's so good that I've seen other providers steal it. Every other provider uses Smarters. DM uses custom built app instead. Other providers also dont offer good customer service. DM offers pretty good customer service in my opinion.

yeah dark media sucks, ive tried them a few times, just trials thank god!! ive tried at least 50 iptv services, and the top ones that im using right now are..I will say dark media does not buffer for me, but for me I just dont like the app they use, just dont work for me.. were all different in what we prefer to use. Buffering issues could be coming from your ISP. Could be throttling your connection.

I've been using them since Vaders went down. I've had zero issues myself. I personally don't like their app and just use Tivimate, but I've had next to zero buffering. The 2.0 App is much better, but still missing features I want but it's great and will only improve with time.

Service is way better than Vaders and Beast ever were.

It seems that you are experiencing the bug that has been listed many times over on their TG. Maybe you should have taken the time to ask for help using the proper channels before jumping to conclusions and blasting negative feedback on them.

The app has only been publicly released for 1 week . Functionality varies from device to device, so unless you are using one of the devices that it's actively being developed and beta tested on, your experience may differ. Not to mention if you have some old 1st gen fireshit or some cheapo box/stick with half-baked, outdated android on it.

What you're doing is no different than buying something from the store, not READING the instructions, not ASKING for support, then telling everyone it's crap.

The only crap I see here is this review b/c of you're inability to read, ask for help, and use proper channels for support. Shame on you.

Most definitely not fantastic service and great apps/iOS never had a problem! No buffer that is constant streams are HD! Absolutely love the service

Ive had a few trials of it and to be honest it buffered frequently. Jarvis and eternal much better for me..but thats just me of course.

I think you are talking crap and must have some sort of grudge against DarkMEDIA, I have been using iptv for a long time and have yet to find one that is completely flawless, what DarkMedia have done is make themselves available 24/7 to quickly sort out any problems that might occur, and that is the big attraction. So many providers in the past disappeared after taking your sub, in my opinion it’s as good as any and better than most.
