1Vision = Scam. Avoid! This company is just TNT Media rebranded to double-charge!

by recordman94

I don't typically write reviews but felt compelled to here.

1Vision is a scam, pure and simple. Here's what's happening, remember TNT Media? Everyone was head over heels with, well all of the sudden a channel went missing here, a channel missing there. Eventually, it kept getting cut down and down.

As is typical, people would ask the TNT admins in the discord what's going on and they wouldn't answer. In fact, they would delete the message and ban them. Eventually, they said they are shutting down soon and "because we love you customers, we want you to use a great provider we found for you. It's 1Vision, here's their discord and how to buy".

WOW! How nice of them! They found someone new for us and what a coincidence, all those missing channels are on the new service. The website/theme that is used is basically the same by the way, which is doubly funny. What are the chances that two totally different (wink wink) services use the same sort of website theme??? In fact if you bought a lifetime service to TNT, they'll move to 1vision for free. How nice of this completely random service to take on all those lifetime accounts.

Anyways, like an idiot I pay for the new service (there were no trials by the way). Buffering like crazy, big events like sports/ppv lag like hell. The old owners weren't really that bad, not sure if they're the same, but the new owner of 1ivison are scummy fucks. I'm in their discord now and the way this new admin responds to people, it's like you're bothering him by suggesting a channel could be down.

I tried asking one of the admins for help as well on an issue and was basically laughed at because, hey, I paid so what use am I to them? I wouldn't be so upset if the buffering wasn't so crap.

Well, with superior options like Inferno, crystal, Helix, you're better off avoiding this garbage service and their even bigger garbage customer service.

I agree with many statements made by the OP, I have a lifetime sub that they gladly honored and migrated but the missing channels from TNT are not on 1Vision. Still missing a ton of critical sports channels and I've seen the behavior in the discord where people flag channels and it appears like you're bothering them. I'm happy they honored my migration but the service is pretty much useless to me with so many channels missing from the lineup.

In the USA- I had TNT through stick of dynamite - sticks sent me the 1Vision new info it works just as well as TNT for me

Agree with the OP. They said they were rebranding and raising rates, locked their discord, killed off most of their channels. Most other services just end up raising the rates if needed. They were already having terrible trouble buffering and lagging out, and with cutting off the service before I was due for it to be finished, I moved on to another provider.

When I renewed my TNT subscription the admin said to move to 1vision. After purchasing for another 3 months, I end up having issues with premier league blocking my IP. At the beginning I thought is something else as I didn't had this issue with TNT.

I manage to find an admin who helped me, he also extended my old TNT subscription for another month.

The guy who helped was great, but the 1vision admins from discord chat weren't that helpful. Instead of helping they were advising how to use a VPN. In all honesty I know how to use a VPN, the point was that 1vision should block issue. They did it before with TNT. With no explanation is still dont know why they didn't do it.

I dont have buffering issues with their feed, for now. One of the thing which I dont like about 1vision is their EPG, it's a bit of a mess. They are using the same EPG as before when they were selling TNT.

My subscription is about to expire, I am already planning to move away as I am not happy with their EPG and also I am interested in having at least 3 connections instead of 1. I also prefer paying via bitcoin, using PayPal is not my desire option.

Sorry to hear you had bad experience twice. If you're looking for new reseller of different services, let me know.

And nice review. I know when I first started out in IPtV, they were very helpful.

Not to nitpick but a ton of services use the same website/layout. I too was a tnt subscriber until they didn't honor the grandfathered 5 dollar sub. I don't think it's fair to straight call them a scam and what about double charging? Listen I'm not defending them hell I don't like how it went all down with tnt but you need to be fair. My friend decided to head over to 1vision and he hasn't had the buffering you have had. And at last I have no clue about the support complaint, when I was with tnt they were very helpful and courteous so I dunno about 1vision.

If there's a way to force a different server, you should do that. I was converted to 1vision almost 2 months ago now and really haven't had many issues. There was a UFC event last month, sorry, don't remember which, that wasn't so great, but that's why you should have backups. I never expect perfection from any provider of IPTV, but I've not really had much issue with them. I certainly do don't have the buffering issue that you describe. I haven't had a similar experience on their discord either. I've been logged into their discord for almost 2 months and haven't seen many questions go unanswered. I don't have it open much though, so it's possible.

Incidentally, I was converted on Helix as well ...on the same day. It was time to renew both TNT and Helix and couldn't pay my invoices because they wouldn't open. I found it very odd that two, seemingly, unique services would be doing the same thing at the same time, but went with it anyway. That's when I was moved to the new services. Hope you get it sorted because both seem pretty good thus far.

wow, very interesting, did not know that, and i remember testing 1vision some time ago for a month. During non peak hours it was good, but during sporting events and around 8pm, i did used to get buffering, which was unfortunately cause admin was decent to me and i liked the channel lineup.

I had TNT. Everyone I know was on TNT also because I recommended it. When my account was about to expire, the guys from TNT sent me the info from 1vision. I guess, contrary to OP, they didn't lie to me. The told me they we're rebranding and it was the same people. So, I tried the new service for 3 months so my people didn't have to take the risk (my recommendation is gold for my family, so I test a lot before giving it). TNT, towards the end, was bad. Buffering, channels leaving, etc. It was really bad. I hoped 1 Vision would be better. It wasn't. The buffering was really bad. Most channels were back but the quality of service was garbage. So I shopped around for an alternative. Now, myself and the people that follow my recommendations are all on another service. Never going back to TNT/1Vision. I recommend people stay away...

I was migrated to their service for a month... It's dogshit. I didn't renew after the month.
