My New Strategy - Beast + Vader + Nitro

by aybesea

So, first off a little about my goal in purchasing IPTV. I'm NOT LOOKING for the cheapest way to watch TV... I'm willing to spend some money. My goal is to have access to [as close as possible to] perfect streams (50-60Hz / FHD) while getting every US sports event (particularly NCAAB, NCAAF, NFL and Boxing) that can be had. Seriously, last weekend I was watching 14 NCAAB games concurrently (switching back and forth). That's like heaven to me! So with that in mind...

Also, as anyone who spends any time around here knows, I have tried LOTS of IPTV services... expensive and cheap... and written about them here. This is a radical shift in strategy for me (away from the inexpensive services), but I am thrilled with the result.

A quick shout out to my reseller, u/jcast356... he is, without a doubt, the best reseller that I have found. Pleasant, knowledgable, patient, and fair. All qualities that are sorely lacking in this industry.

So onto the services...

Beast TV is currently my first choice. Streams are very stable, high quality (50-60/FHD for most of the sports), and cover everything that a sports nut needs. I've had next to zero problems with PPV, NFL, ESPN, Super Bowl, Golden Globes... basically anything I've wanted. In a month, I've had about two times where I needed to switch to another provider for technical difficulty reasons. If I were only buying one service, then this would be the one. The only reasons that I have other providers are 1) coverage of the 1% technical difficulty times, 2) better catch up (it's there, but not great), 3) better EPG... particularly for sports.

Vader is in the second position in my lineup. Their EPG (particularly Match Center) is spectacular! I wish that everyone would copy their proprietary APK as it just excels. Their streams, while not as consistently stable as Beast, are clear and HQ (50-60/FHD). Their coverage is not as extensive as Beast or Nitro, but tends to cover all of the major sports events. Their catch up is extensive, but the stability is less than stellar... I find myself having to use something else on a regular basis. They have a big VOD section, but I don't use it.

Nitro is my bottom of the list provider, and honestly I'm on the fence with it. Streams are plentiful (every channel I need) and clear (50-60/FHD), but they have more issues than Beast with buffering/stuttering. What makes Nitro a winner is the speed at which they get the catch up channels posted... sometimes in 15 minutes or less! This matters to me. To be fair, my reseller tells me that Nitro is being tweaked and should be much better very soon (and I have seen great improvements over the month). But, with it being the most expensive of the three services, I currently have it earmarked as "on the fence". I just re-upped my sub for another month, and we will see how that plays out.

If Nitro's stability doesn't get closer to perfect, I may drop it and re-subscribe (I just let it drop) to Helix for their catch up. I just haven't been thrilled with Helix and buffering for the last couple of months. But their price is much better than Nitro and their catch up is extensive and quick as well (though not as quick as Nitro). I'm also not happy that you can no longer use PayPal with Helix.

Other services that I have tried and dropped in favor of this current solution include: Helix, Eternal, Area51, TNT, TwistedTV, CrystalClear/XStreamz, GE, Gears/GearsReloaded, FAB, Flawless

Edit: due to confusion, I have replaced all instances of UHD with FHD. It means 1080p/50-60hz.

blondedre3000

You know UHD is the same thing as 4k right? I seriously doubt any providers are doing anything over 1080p.

Greencon10

So your favorite 3 services just happen to be the same exact high credit markup 3 the reseller you are hyping up in this review happens to carry.

So I take it you also got some of those "we'll give you free subscription time if you put up a review linking it back to us" PM messages too? ;)

A great unbiased review I agree Beast is a great service I took a test but ultimately it was not for me due to me needing certain packages and them not being available on the platform. As its being pointed out by yourself it's very US-centric and during my short test, I had no issues with channel reliability.

I Have a current subscription for Nitro I am happy overall with the channels available it actually has the packages that Beast misses, stability wise it's not perfect I've encountered various issues over the last few weeks but I don't expect a miracle at this price. I've not used Vaders for some time so it may be time to resubscribe when the 2019/2020 football season restarts.

I currently have Nitro, Eternal, Root Hosting and Starstreams I not really used Root enough to cast any real judgement, Eternal is great for reliability but it lacks the channel choice of Root and Nitro. I am not 100% sure about Starstreams I don't really use it great deal anymore so I may save myself some cash and drop it.

Finally, I agree with you on your reseller Jcast365 he was very polite to me despite me not continuing my Beast trial/sub with him, I would not hesitate to buy off him going forward.

Geo217

Jcast356 is a champion i highly recommend him for all your iptv needs.

The review is about right. Beast is well ahead of nitro and vaders right now.

You cant go wrong with this setup. Although id recommend beast in combination with something cheaper as a backup..which jcast has set me up with :)

JamesBong00420

Great review! I agree about u/jcast356 and his crew. They have saved me countless hours of headaches. Problems and issues are going to happen with every product or service at some point. They communicate problems and don't try to bullshit about why things are down. This alone is worth double what I pay for my 2x service bundles, though I hope they keep their prices low lol.

rgraves22

I subbed today to beast and vader thanks to this recommendation.

I agree, /u/Jcast356 is absolutely Awesome!! I hit /u/Jcast356 up on the discord and got a prompt response! So far, I am extremely impressed with Beast.

Since trying many iptvs i too settled with beast as they were stable. Seemed to fix issues quickly and the resellers were very helpful. However since Dec 2018 they have been undergoing "maintenance" either with the VOD and 24/7 which both have been in limbo for the past 3 months now. Epg seems to be an issue lately as well. The layout is getting confusing with 24/7 section and NEW 24/7 SECTION and both not being worked on anymore they are just there stuck unfinished. They do "server maintenance" seems like once a week that will only be done once something starts going to shit, more reactive than proactive lately. I loved beast and would enjoy refering friends and new people to them but now i dont and feel bad for the people i previously had signup and see them complaining about issues with their service.

(Just to clarify BEAST TV is the iptc with the bear breaking through the tv correct? I dont want to be bashing the incorrect iptv)

stevenssupertech

Just to add I have had horrible service from beast TV. The one with the bear just to clarify. No it's not my internet or home network. Channels down and looping. Really liked the quality of the channels but damn what crap uptime.

esk416

I sub'd to Vaderstreams recently to get my feet wet... not sure if it's normal but plenty of channels don't work at all.... no signal, no EPG info...

I get that you can't expect 100% up time, but most of these channels just stay dead... so what's the point of having them listed.

re. Beast, anyone know how compatibility is w/ TVHEADEND?

les_rallizes_denudes

Does beast offer m3u ?

gslice

Question,

Giving BEAST a try with their modified perfect player.

Everything seems OK, but some channels take forever to load. Is this normal? Some channels display right when selecting, while others take up to 15 seconds to begin streaming...

Is this something I can fix?

hacktek

Where are you watching from? People seem to have issues with Beast but I don't, works great for me. Americas.

Beatle_Matt

So dumb question but how would you roll with three different services? I have tivimate on my shield configure for one service I have, but how would you go with three/multiple?

Would you need a separate app for each?

tollija

Thanks for posting, good info, I have also tried most of these. I may try Beast again after reading this when one of my current 3 runs out. TNT is also better now if you haven't tried it since last year.

Opieh

Why not just pay for sling TV with sports addons and DAZN and maybe 2 or 3 specific sports providers and save you some money ?

someoddsamosa

So you prefer Beast over Helix?

CertainSB

I'm interested to hear your take on GearsTV. I use it and it's been incredibly stable and the picture is great. I ask because I've recommended it to people and they love it. Even novice IPTV users. So I'd love to hear someone's take who is experienced with another service and has also used Gears. What about Gears' service made you drop it for your current solution?

captaindeeeez

What is the benefit of buying from a reseller vs just going to the site and buying there? My current iptv is just billed via their website but I am interested in testing out Beast. Just unsure of where to buy a months subscription (reseller or site).

nudista

I'm new to all of this maybe someone can help: I see a lot of talk about resellers. Why? Can't I just go to 5he website and just sign up? What's the benefit or the value of the reseller?

TehSoupNazi

I currently have TPK as it is super cheap, $5 per month (grandfathered in), but I'm growing tired of the stuttering or buffering issues it routinely gets. I am looking primarily for sports, with being able to watch NHL games as my primary need/desire. Would you think Vaders or Beast would be the better option for that based on your experiences?

Hankscorpio17

does beast tv offer trials?

peachoptimo1

Looking to sign up for a beast / Vader combo pack tonight. Anyone hook me up? Thanks

dinje1

Hi, can i try 24 hour trial Beast premium please. m3u url please.

HawK2g

Got beast just for the cricket, yet it was the only channel that had problems. Incorrect resolutions (HD was 1080p, UHD 720p), no sound, sitting at the home screen of the device and insane buffering. Went to other channels like Sky Sports Main Event, NBA, ESPN, BT Sports, no problems whatsoever. I don't know why they call 1080p channels UHD instead of FHD, either. If you don't watch cricket, beast is a good starting point

Zeny1

I tried beast tv but so far not very impressed.

I am a mostly Sports/Latino channel user.

BeastTV buffers quite a bit, and some channels don't load at all. I have Vaderstreams as well, and to be honest I think Vaderstream is better than beast tv for my needs. They both suffer from buffering and some channels not working, but Vaders has less issues in general.

Can't be my connection because I have gigabit internet and my router is providing my firestick with 300mbps via wifi, and don't have issues with legitimate services.

I don't know what to do. I am willing to spend 20-30 bucks a month if I could just get some solid sports/latino service, but nothing has worked out so far. I'll be trying out NitroTV and see what happens... If anyone has any suggestions I'd appreciate it too.

nonameforyou1234

Beast sucks.

But I wish everyone would question the logic of buying a back up from the same reseller. Why would you pay someone more in case they suck? Really?

Stay away from beast though.

dfreeman71

Ive been on Vader and Light since August of last year. I decided to give Beast a Whirl for a month to compare. and honestly, it buffers too much, and has almost the same content as my Light, and its twice the price. so 2 days in with Beast. im good but no thanks. its crap. Vader is better for sure

appandweb

After Vaders shutdown I guess beast will take the lead , am on iptvclouds and helix now , am looking for a third sub to my dads shop and I guess it will be beast or nitro ...
