My top IPTV services

by scordz

Updated March 1, 2019

I’ve been using IPTV services for the past couple of years and between that time, have tried over 20. First off, anyone that is expecting 100% reliability with zero buffering might as well stick with cable. The true test for me is how these services preform during peak times and big PPV events. I don’t care for VOD as I have my favorite addons and apks for all my movies/shows.

Beast TV: Good for Canadian and US content. Extremely quick, great quality, not a bad epg, solid sports section, PPV and adult. No VOD. Good price at $15 for 2 connections.

Vader’s TV: Probably one of the best for sports with matchcenter but can face some buffering from time to time. $15 for 3 IPs / 5 connections is great.

Gears TV: Great service abut a little too costly for one connection and have to pay extra for the guide. $20

Obey Streams: APK is great. Works well but I get better stability on Beast TV. Plus it’s $5 more. You do get VOD but it’s not a huge selection. Good service but not quite there.

Area 51: For a budget IPTV, can’t beat Area 51. Has about 1400 channels and haven’t faced much buffering at all. $7 for 3 connections is tough to beat.

TPK: A little bit more at $8 for 1 connection but the players klub rarely faces any downtown and it does well for PPV and sports.

TNT: Not too bad of a price at $7 for one connection and tends to do a pretty solid job for PPV and sports.

Venom: $12 for 3 connections. Has run reasonably well for me and good quality.

Streams For Us: Can't really beat 8000 channels and 2 connections for $7. Of course when you have that many channels, a good number might be SD quality but who really cares. If you're expecting much out of a $7 service, you might as well stick to cable.

Kodi Solutions: A good service for the price, but their website is down at the moment.

Eternal: One of the best but good luck getting a subscription.

Prime Media: Don't waste your cash.

Crystal: Quality is amazing but I get quite a bit of buffering during peak times.

Stargate: Relatively new company. Good customer service, price is cheap but haven't tested it yet with PPV. Channels don’t load up too quickly and epg is ok.

Alien Streams: Ran really well but only get 1 connection at $10.

I've also tried Xstreamz, King of Streams, Pirates Corner and WPC. They were OK but just your typical re-sellers and didn't quite perform to my liking.

Hope this info helps.

i don't care that you don't care what i say, but vaders is the buffer zone dude. Heck, just look at their twitter right now, their sh*t is down yet again. I had it for 1 year, and I'll never go ba..............*buffering*

IPTVGOD

Vader has 5 connection not 3.

What makes the more $$ services worth more money than say area51. It has everything i need and stable. I dont need VOD as i use kodi with debrid.

The problem I have with Vader is that the selection of North American and UK channels is too small. I haven't noticed any buffering and many of the available channels have catch-up, so that's good. However, many channels are just not there, specially the Canadian channels. Because of that, I won't renew when my subscription expires this month.

I mean, they don't even have the Canadian Paramount Network channel. Are you kidding me? Sorry, but not enough variety for me. I'm spoiled after trying so many providers over the years, and in the IPTV world Vader is lacking in that department. I don't want 5,000 channels, but at least more North American and UK channels. There's a lot of channels missing.

Beast is better in that department. Many more channels than Vader. However, lots of Canadian channels not working. Seriously, I was channel surfing a few minutes ago, and out of 20 Canadian channels that I tried to watch, at least 10 didn't work. USA channels seem to be fine, though. UK channels don't load as fast as the North American Channels, but at least the selection of channels is decent. No catch-up in the UK section, though. North American channels have catch-up, but the catch-up only lasts for 24 hours or so. Definitely not the best provider out there.

Haven't tried the other providers. I will never try Gears because they don't support stalker based devices.

My overall favorite is Eternal and I'm glad I was able to get in early because it's very stable and the selection of channels is great, but only a few channels have catch-up, and only in the USA section.

Helix is the king when it comes to catch-up. Huge selection of channels and pretty much all the North American and UK channels have catch-up, but we all know that it's not the most stable service and buffering is more common than in other providers.

King Box is pretty good for UK channels and other European channels. Very stable and a lot of UK channels have catch-up. However, it is expensive for one connection and the North American section is not very good.

IPGuys is extremely stable. Seriously, sometimes I think I'm watching YouTube, Netflix or something like that. It is that stable. However, many channels are not HD and the selection of channels is not the best. Also, the catch-up is only good for 6 hours or so.

All in all, there's no best IPTV provider. They all have something wrong. That's why I always use at least 3 providers at the same time.

Great feedback!

At the end of the day, Area 51 has been solid for me and the channels I use and it’s one of the cheaper ones.

Might try out TNT since you need to win a lottery to get an Eternal sub.

erftbll81

Been using Area 51 and TNT for a few months now,

I almost exclusively watch sports and Disney Jr for my daughters.

Area 51 is pretty great for the price, been using it on a mag though which has super slow navigation, but no buffering in terms of content, they have notified me that they no longer will support mag boxes going forward.

TNT buffers a lot for me, unwatchable most of the time, I do not recommend.

The mostly reseller fueled Beast hype is getting wayyyy out of control on reddit. It's getting to be like Vader 2.0 around here...after Vader started going down hill. Seriously, it's not a bad service or anything but the core fact remains that it's not really bringing anything to the table you can't find elsewhere for roughly half the price either. Unless you happen to find their limited catchup that appealing I guess.

Overall it didn't even rank in my top 5 standouts in stability tests over the last 2 months. I'd sum it up more as an average value provider that essentially makes you pay a hefty surcharge for the premium advertising that goes in to it.

Geo217

My experience with Vaders is that it does everything well except for live tv lol. The matchcentre is great but it’s so hit and miss, the live tv section is generally a miss, but then it’s catch up section is great and vod pretty good. Maybe I need to fool around with the server settings as I’m in Australia I dunno.

Beast is very good just hoping it doesn’t go the same way as Vaders, eternal is the most stable and arguably the best, they have just added the ESPN+, channels, the only thing that lets eternal down is the nhl centre ice, nba league pass, epl and nfl sections are all 30fps. However many of these games are on regular US channels and eternal will have them at 60fps.

Used tnt briefly and that was decent.

scordz

Testing out TNT today and seems solid. Has more channels then Area 51.

I’m starting to think some of these sub $10 services are better.

Adalbdl

You left out 2 heavy hitters better than all of those that you mentioned. Eternal and TnT in my opinion are best out here, can’t be beat in price for performance.

So far I have tried two services. OneStep Tv (It's something else now) and The Players Klub. I would recommend both. OneStep is "expensive" at $25/mo up to 4 connections, but it has good customer service (had a problem on an early Sunday morning, got it fixed immediately via chat). Fairly extensive Catchup, but it is off about 90 seconds, so you will miss the end of some shows. Hardly any buffering, however the app does not connect occasionally.

I got TPK on a $5 sale with 1 extra connection for $9 total. I've been using it for 2 weeks now and I'm liking it better than OneStep so far. It has a slightly better picture on regular channels, very noticeable better picture on sport channels like NBA League Pass, though I have noticed OneStep has gotten better. TPK has a Catchup section but nothing is in it. I like that it has favorites, so all I have to go through are the 30 channels I've put there.

Like the OP says, IPTV is not for the nitpicky. If you don't mind a few quirks, and can live without a few perks the price can't be beat. The free stuff is not even worth the effort.

***************************************

I figured out how to get TPK's Catchup to work (at least for one night). I only get about a day and a half of recordings and the listing of Catchup channels is haphazard. Contrary to OneStep the recorded shows start and end on time. I'll say the cost overcomes the quirks, but be ready to have to tinker around some to get optimal performance.

I tried Most of the above specially vaders i stayed 1+ year with them and they were the best in the market , but my last few months with them was horrible and many agree with me ., Gears Tv did not work 100% for me since i was looking for some arab channels and they didnt have them in the list .

At the moments ( 7+ Months ) am with iptvclouds and am so satisfied from there streaming and customer support in case i want to add some channels . So personally my first option now is iptvclouds , but remember iptv services can be good for someone and bad for another , depends on the internet speed connections , locations , channels streamed ext...

plasmah77

Another vote for Beast

IPTVSource

Tested TPK during PPV and it was solid.

Doddsville

Have had Vaders for over two years. Experienced very few problems with it. Haven't seen it go down in several months.

tampelley

We just got our box programmed for 10 bucks and then he charged us 10 bucks for the service. So we are in for $20 for the 1st month. If we want an additional box it's $5 extra..It's TnT and so far we've had a few issues with live tv. Hockey is a little choppy..

hddbunker

Vaders was my all time Favorite , then suddenly they became the worst .

I moved to Alien stream but since they have only 1 connection i also got iptv007 for my second tv , both subs are running gr8 so far

Keem773

I've used TNT and/or TPK to watch PPV events for the past year and have been very impressed! No buffering

damodongo123

Vader’s is hands down the worst iptv I have ever experienced

darknmy

I bought Beast IPTV. Today I ordered cancellation. It' s bad

IPTVSource

I think almost all named IPTV providers now have stable connection. It will go down on their support. I'll go with whoever has great support than the one with millions of channels but stupid or no support at all. Or will take forever to reply. If they really have big clients and tickets then employ more support. Just my 2 cents!

Ijjiop

I am looking for one with a decent VOD and some channels for around $20, Any suggestions?

appandweb

I used to have Vaders it was gr8 like a dream , after they become big troubles started , buffering , bad support ext.. and am not the only one , they are still Big but i left and moved to iptvclouds and Area 51 then i only stayed with iptvclouds for the last 7+ months. Vaders and Area are gr8 with there prices specially multiple conex , but iptvclouds is better in streaming quality , very rare buffer and customer support

Japop7

I am literally just trying to find a good service where I can watch Premier Leauge without too much buffering. I have read through various pages on here etc. but I still don't fully understand how it works other than that Eternal is impossible to gain access to.

Also is it safe to pay for these services?

How do you pay for them and do I need to buy an additonal VPN for it to work?

Does it work on a MacBook?

JonDuke19

I am very annoyed by the fact that every iptv I see seem to think Canada doesn't have Quebec in it. I have yet to find one with even the most popular french canadian channel (TVA Montreal) that works or is even included. Beast TV, which you said is great for Canadian content, has less Quebec channels than most other iptv I use.

Aside from that, thanks for the reviews.

SalAzzam

I liked Beast TV too, but I switched over to DreamStreams.tv due to having experienced too many issues with beasttv towards the end of my subscription. So glad I made the switch too because it's even better. Debating on whether to go with gears, vaders, or stick with dreamstreamstv. They all exceeded my expectations

EnTVPremium

Any one who would like to test our service send me a pm, great app to use with a great service

bamboohrz2001

for me iptvclouds is now one of the best available iptv ,,, great stream quality and excellent customer support , and it is rare to find any channel with what is called *buffering*

I have been with them almost 6months now . 9.5/10

marcelamota1982

You left a heavy hitter that in my opinion and personal use is better than most of those that you mentioned , iptvclouds , TNT is good as well but a friendly reminder there site name now is tnt3stooges and they are undercover with the name of hosting and a service -- hosting -- .. It seems they have been in some problems with there host or gov .. the only thing i did not go for TNT and chose iptvclouds is that am afraid TNT will be shutdown anytime again ,

Misjah007

did Beast Tv have RacingTV and Atheraces in HD quality ?

I tried a lot of these but buffering is a massive issue found a provider now that was recommended bit more expansive but definitely best I have used to date been with them for over 2 years now

trempao

Thanks for the info. I am actually using ocean iptv they are quite good but quite pricey as well. One month 17 euros. Lots of channels though

joshuawakefield

Does Beast TV have a trial?

SonicIPTV

Sonic TV should be number 1 on this list! Lol, just messing but totally NOT biased :)

Beatle_Matt

What site do you use for Beast?

Gh0st1337

I use Suomi-iptv service and have none buffer issues, alot channels and cheap price. Works every platform.

Lakeshow24742

I'm pretty new to IPTV. What add-ons do you use for VOD for tv and movies?

zachxter

What is the actual link for gears tv and does it have good sports options?

reflex94

I have area 51. If I watched only buffering programming, they are the best. If you want to watch programming, a rabbit ears antenna is better.

reflex94

I don't know what you referring to regarding provider. I purchase area 51 from area 51. Do you know a different place where I can access them?

reflex94

No not yet. Any suggestions?

bkaryes

Hello guys. I offer IPTV services at an affordable price. Comes with 4000+ channels and 2000+ vod. If interested, hit me up

niiloux

Did someone ever tested cccambox iptv ?

NutShop

Can I use Beast TV at home and at work at the same time? Also any thoughts on Island Stream?

AlexDeLarge305

Has anyone here tried Ummo?

scordz

Definitely agree with you there.

sparker781

Has anyone tried OlogyTV? Reviewdork from Youtube runs it. Did it for a month...Was reliable service wise but the EPG was always off. Want to try GEARS Reloaded but it's really expensive price wise for 2 connections

redhusker2017

Where can i get Area 51? Their site says out of stock when i tried ordering.

redhusker2017

Thanks

ajr901

So which one do you recommend? Price isn't a factor, I really just want the best.

That seems to be eternal but its kind of impossible to get a sub.

damoramo

Tried wolftv, so far the best solution in terms of minimal buffering. Updated VOD weekly and series. Got a sub here www.getwolftv.com

CADModel1

Are we purposefully not mentioning SmoothStreams or something?

Rwin01

Test out my service 😅😅 i don't offer US PPV channels but i have a great channel selection , for $8 only , live channels + vod

torulatv

Give torula a shot. r/Torula
