Got Vader's a month ago. VOD is usually down and channels buffer too much. Sports are ok. Customer service is good. But overall not worth $15 a month in my opinion.

I've had Vader for 2 years. I run it through an Nvidia Shield, hardwired, and have practically zero buffering. The on demand stuff is pretty solid as well, and the live sports selection is unreal. I'd say maybe once a day I get buffering or a down stream, but it's Rock solid. If you're using a firestick on WiFi or something like that, you can't complain about buffering. Vader also allows 5 connections at once, so it's perfect for my 3 TV's.
It's really too bad that Vader has declined so much, because they used to be one of the best IPTV services. About a year ago the problems started with buffering and outages. Once it began, it just continued.
I had been using them as my primary IPTV for several years and hoped they would get the service back to where it was, but it never happened and I didn't renew my subscription. Your review is accurate...unfortunately. Cheers!
Buffer quitter here as well. There ARE services that are better value / price.
King of streams being one. I have been through so many services, crowntv, iptv-subscription, and Vader, and yet thus far (four days in) it has been my favorite experience.
I have encountered virually nil buffering and so much HD with a EPG Guide and an 8 out of 10 GUI.
$7per month per device. Totally worth it.
I find it is all about the non popular small services to go with. As they get bigger you drop of and find the next. Frustrating but reality.
Buffer buffer buffer buffer
I luckily have had very few buffering issues and when I have, it's quick and generally resolves itself fast. The couple of times I've had bad buffering, I restart my firestick and it's flawless after that.
Knock on wood
Not fussed on it tbh.
Other than the very well known issues they had at one point for a 2-3 week stretch, I rarely have issues with Vaders minus the occasional hiccup.
Now I don't watch live TV 📺 a ton. I run my own personal Plex server and spend most of my viewing content time split between that and YouTube. I mostly just use Vaders for NFL on Sundays, occasionally watching a Laker game, PPV, and ESPN ESPN 2 & ESPNews in the mornings until about noon est.
Any occasional hiccup/buffer I get I can resolve quickly by reloading the channel, and then never anymore issues after that.
I've been a Vader's sub for awhile now. There a good backup. I like that they have lots of hard to find sports. Downside for me is Everytime a big event was on the service went down or bufffered to no end. I'm running the apk on a Nvidia shield with gigabit internet. Wouldn't recommend it till it gets some serious server side work.
Vader's will 100% lag every single Sunday night, or anytime a sports event is on where more than 20 people will be watching at once.
Stay far away, the king had fallen.
I've had vader for over a year and use it as my primary service with little to no problems. Running on the perfect player app, on an android box or firestick.
i've been using vaders for about a year now and i can say it's pretty solid. tried other services and nothing works quite as smoothly and reliably as vaders. i'm on 75mbps down cable.
I've been using Vaders for nearly two years. I like that you can select your server and pick the closest / fastest one. VOD seems to be working fine as well but I use it mostly for sports as there are plenty of options where you can watch Movies/TV Shows.
Checkout /r/Torula if you're looking for a vaders alternative (bitcoin only).
Been working good for me for a week now (using as backup to Area51), no buffering on 300down/20up Ethernet connection on a Mag box for live tv.
Anything VOD won’t play more than 20 seconds before it buffers and eventually exits out.
Don't even bother with vaders unless you love buffering. They used to be very good until they got greedy with too much of subscriptions their servers can't cope with. You open up a ticket and you get the cliche response - restart router and box bla bla bla.
I quit them because of the constant buffer.
