Optimus Streams review

by Hawks83

I've been using a new service called Optimus Streams, and thought I would get up a review since I don't see one on here yet.

Right off the bat I will tell you it's the best service I have ever seen for sports, ever. No buffering, full 1080p, and for UK football fans, all the 3pm kickoffs are on here, Club Channels, Euro Match Pass, Red Button, LeSports, B/R Live, etc. All North American sports, full 1080p. All major networks, PPV events, etc. Adult channels available also, and can be shut off by request. I don't have a full channel list here but for me at least, nothing is missing. Decent VOD section too.

Edit: Sports are 60 fps!!!

Runs well with our without a VPN. All accounts come stock with 2 connections and no IP lock.

If there's a con, it's minor... Couple of Canadian channels say they're one thing but are actually another. Same in the US side. It's only one or two channels on each side, I'm sure it will get fixed.

Support is really good. Emails get responded to quickly, usually within 30 minutes to an hour.

Payments by Paypal, there's talk of adding Bitcoin down the line.

Free trials for 24 hours and I never did this but I believe there's 48 hour trials available for a small fee.

I pay $15 USD per month, and for what I'm getting I am really happy with it. I have referred a couple of friends to them so I will recommend these guys to you as well.

optimus.streams@protonmail.com is the contact, as far as I know, no website but may be being worked on as he mentioned a web player was coming at some point.

Overall, I would say 4.5/5 stars, have to take half a star away for the few mislabeled channels on the North American stuff, and well, my rating system isn't an exact science so whatever, LoL. I'm really happy with them and I bet you would be too. Give them a try.

Sounds good but 1080p don't mean shit. I've seen 1080 streams that look like garbage compared to some 720 ones. One of the biggest factors for sports I find is frame rate, 60fps is the holy grail.

How do i sign up for this service ?

Epg up to scratch , Catch-up, Mag compatibility?

technazz

Just got this service. I got it from tdshost dot ca . You get a 10% off code after the 48 hr trial.

Sports is good. Some USA/CAN channels are mislabeled and a few a lower quality but I would say 90% is at least 720p .

Hey OP thinking about subscribing, did a trial last night seemed good.

Was curious how your month went and if you are going to go for another month. Any buffering during box events or anything?

GetFreeCash

How is their NHL selection?

VRcraghopper2

Do you know if they show championship games that are on ifollow?

ykelsayed

How’s their football UK (premier league). Is it 60fps? Don’t really care about resolution as 60fps like you said is the deal breaker. Is there NBA Live pass?

jeremiah_808

What’s the resolution and FPS for most USA channels?

janverbeem

Are you sure you pay 15$ a month as i see they're advertising their service on this forum as 15$ for 3 months

girthfingers

Do you have a channel list that you can share? Need to make sure the PAC 12 network of channels are available.

zool99

Anyone able to PM a channel list also please? Sounds very similar to my current service

sfaraz1

they have android app? I have found android app to be most reliable compared to other means.

Is it just me or has there been a huge Channel overhaul from this supplier over the weekend?

I really liked optimus too and I agree they did have a great sports selection, however, I ultimately jumped over to DreamStreams.TV and I haven't looked back since. I'm kinda shocked they aren't more widely known considering the quality of the streams, something like 7K+ channels, and I never experience buffering (which is pretty rare nowadays with all these crappy iptv services popping up).
