Going to make this short, and to the point...

I have decided to test a new IPTV service called Pekan TV which is affiliated with Pekan Designs (and associates with OttawaGeeks . com).

They promote the following:

• 6000+ Live Channels
• Unlimited Devices
• Fast Server Speed
• HD Channels
• VOD Categories
• Parental Control
• EPG Support
• International Channels
• No Commitment
• FREE Android box with 12 month subscription

BEWARE! You will actually get the following:

• JUST over 1000 channels TOTAL (which includes all the international channels)
• Unlimited devices BUT can only play on ONE device at a time
• Slow connection (on most days) with some channels not even loading altogether. Other channels will freeze quite frequently.
• Only 10% of the actual working channels are only SD (standard definition) rather than HD (high definition)
• Absolutely NO VOD (video on demand) function! Not one tv show or movie is in this section!
• NO International channels are even included! (Only USA, UK and Canadian)
• Web player does NOT work (at least not on Windows 7 Pro). You will watch a channel and it will stop after approximately 2 minutes of play and then will not reconnect.
• Included Android TV box is below average and not compatible with the actual Pekan TV app! 90% of the channels do not play properly. When downloading Pekan TV on a much better spec. Android box, it works a bit better (but still flakey)

PLEASE save your money and look elsewhere. Do your own due diligence on this company. There are zero reviews online with this company and probably for a good reason - untrustworthy and unreliable.
