Marsmedia tv

by briabbmitch

So last night I did a 24 hour trial of Mars Media.

Setup: Got on their website (marsmediatv . Com) and ordered the free trial. Immediately I received an email welcoming me and another saying my order was received. About 15 minutes later I received the email with my login and password. I went to their website on my firestick and downloaded their apk. They use the iptv smarters app that so many other services use so I was very comfortable with it. I entered my credentials and it began loading. The first thing I did was went into parental controls and disabled all of the channel groups that I do not plan to ever use.

Picture/channels: this was very much as expected. I was impressed by the low bandwith channels as the quality was much higher than I expected. Channel selection was honestly just about everything you can think of.

Layout: this is what impressed me the most. Unlike other services that try to over breakout channel leaving you searching and searching, they did not do that. They have a section for sports, network tv, locals, Canada, UK, etc etc. The channels were in alphabetical order making everything very very easy to locate. This is something most other providers I have tried do very wrong (in my opinion).

Cost: $10 a month for one connection and$20 for 2 and$25 for 3. The website will say 15 bucks for 1 but you are provided a discount at checkout.

VOD: they do have a vod selection however a recent notification on their Facebook page announced that it was down at this time as everything is moved to a new server etc. I'm actually not a fan of VOD with my service provider so this definitely didn't change my opinion of the service.

Conclusion: Mars Media is a very good service and I believe it is priced right for what they have to offer.

Disclaimer: I am in no way affiliated with this service and have received nothing for this review.

Your description is exactly the same as ps lol and they have vod but recently is moving it to another server too. But one way to tell the difference is. Do they have 4k movies in the movie section? Ps has like 270 4k movies

Thanks for the info. Do they offer "TV Catchup"?

Sounds like it could be a reseller of primestreams to me.

Very insightful review. Hopefully a a free trial will pop up soon. Can't stand gears TV low quality picture and horrible logo placement on each channel.

I am using them now a bit over a month and I am mostly satisfied. They have a huge Channel selection list, but it's mostly US channels. Many non US channels give the the 'under maintenance' message and this does not change.

I still like them, because most channels I am interest in (CNN, BBC, MSNBC, ABC, etc.) work most of the time, with almost no buffering. They need to improve their sport channel selection, especially soccer coverage is weak. There is no EPG for German channels.

They also have a great movie selection and the TV shows selection is also good but not great.

Their customer service is unfortunately not that good. Forget the live chat option on their website, I tried a few times and waited and waited and waited. No response.

But for that price you pay, it is a great service.
