I'm probably not going to give the most in depth IPTV review ever, but I haven't seen anything on this subreddit pertaining to this service. I saw someone post about it on Facebook of all places, saying they had 500+ channels for $5 a month. Now, that is met with immediate skepticism from me, considering I had a trial of SETVNOW, which had about the same number of channels for $20 a month. I went to the website, saw indeed it was $5 a month, and I liked their channel lineup. I'm a huge sports/motorsports fan, so seeing their lineup have all the major sporting outlets, including PPV, MLB Extra Innings, NHL Center Ice, and NFL games (haven't tested yet because, no NFL obviously) I was definitely intrigued. They needed literally no personal information from me except for an email address. They accepted Paypal as a payment method which was equally as nice. I subbed up for a month and downloaded their apk from the play store. I received my login info via email almost immediately after signing up, and signed right into the app. Clicking on a couple random channels, they were in HD, quality was pretty average. Maybe a little bit better than what you would expect for $5. A channel I really wanted was MAVTV, as I said I'm a motorsports fan. This channel was not in HD, but for the price didn't bug me all that bad considering I had no other way to get it. So far so good.
On Area 51's site they allow you to download an M3U playlist of your channels so you can use an IPTV player or just VLC on a computer. I can't tell you how much that comes in handy. Their customer support is pretty top notch as well. I've had to submit a few tickets when it comes to questions concerning the channel lineup and the one time MAVTV went down. (It was back up within a day, and in HD so WOOHOO!) They respond quickly and have helpful answers.
Now as far as cons go, the $5 a month is for one connection at a time. Each additional connection is another $5, which still beats some competitors prices (SETVNOW gives 3 for $20). Some channels are not in HD. The few I found were MAVTV, Nicktoons, and a couple other off channels. I haven't really gone to any of the foreign channels as I'm primarily concerned with the US based networks, however, curiosity had me clicking and every channel I clicked on worked from Canada, India, and some Spanish channels.
Overall I'd say the experience for me has been quite excellent. If you're looking for something cheap, and pretty good in the quality department, I'd check em out. I'm not sure if I can post links here so if I can I'll edit my review but until then, just google area 51 hosting, and check em out for yourselves. I'm not sure if they offer a trial, but I assume they might considering in the account settings it says my account is not a trial lol.
Any other questions I'd be happy to reply if I have the experience and knowledge. Happy viewing!
