ACE

by fooali

I first came across IPTV in June 2017 and as usual i was bombarded with trials, PM's the lot. The advice given at the time was try them all see which one works so i went from some ok ones to the truly horrific ones cough rapidIPTV ... anyway, i was sceptical about the whole thing and in Nov i decided to fully invest in this

i went with 3 providers at first .. Epic, Flawless and ACE. i used epic i gave the other 2 to friends and family to see which one was the most reliable and stable ( relatively ). fast forward to today and i must say that ACE is by far and away the closest I've got to a stable provider not only that but the support great too.

Epic is good too but i just didn't like the menu structure for their channels and the support (iptvboss) was a little lacklustre at best but after a slow start i don't have any major complaints. Flawless bless them just had problem after problem but people swear by them but i wasn't prepared to stick around.

So in the midst of all this ACE decided to go underground which had me worried at first as i was about to pull the trigger on a year long subscription but because of this i decided to play it a little safe and go with the quarterly option i think it was around £40 but anyway

In my honest and humble opinion don't bother with the full package and just go for the sports, obviously it depends what you're looking for but in my experience and this is for all the providers i sampled, the vast majority of the non-sports channels you don't know what you will get in terms of reliability as some work and some don't.

Its obvious these providers put all their time and energy into the sports channels and it shows cos lets face it this is where they make their money and if these are down constantly then say goodbye to repeat customers. ACE excelled in this department as i can't remember a time when i had problems with the streams during match days **. i have a 55 inch TV and the FHD quality is 6/10 at best some 3pm channels are really bad but this depends on which team you follow. Burnley v west brom wont have a quality stream as say Man city v liverpool and so on you get the idea.

I don't think there are many channels missing in terms of where to watch sports as the international section has a plethora of channels to choose from that is updated weekly to show which streams/matches they carry. Which brings me to my next point and that is that all users now require a VPN when watching channels that carry EPL in fact you will need a VPN for the whole service now and i don't have a problem with that frankly.

If you are new to IPTV do some reading about VPN before you buy as it will be an added cost. so if you see that it costs £10 a month for iptv you're more than likely have to pay another £5-7 for VPN a month so ask around for which 1 people prefer to use.

in conclusion i pay £7 for the sport only package with ACE and this works fine for me as it has all the channels and i'd like to also add that they have included in this package NBA League pass, NHL, NFL Game Pass and MLB for all you american sports lovers.

Great service hopefully it will continue like this throughout 2018

** i had an issue with Sky Shield buffering my connection as well as my VPN slowing down my internet so i had to choose a closer location.

Ace has been woeful since the start of the year, constant stuttering and most matches unwatchable.

I will be moving on at end of this month.

I like Ace, but I WISH they would move to using H.265 for the FHD streams and up the quality. Using H.265 would mean virtually 'source' quality streams (the holy grail of IPTV) at the same bandwidth they use now. Granted some devices won't be able to use x.265, but most will, and the ones that can't will still be able to use the HD streams, while everyone else gets PROPER FHD quality at no extra bandwidth requirement.

Of course it would require their suppliers to do this but I am shocked suppliers haven't already done it.

Have to agree great service, closest IPTV service I've used that comes close to CS. Anyone who needs a cheap VPN service take a look at some of the smartdns services who also offer free VPN. These work well using openvpn on both Android and Enigma2.

donafreak87

Great service. Always top notch.

Been with ace for about 6months now must say the service is top notch on low bandwidth and only get the odd stutter even on hd my only gripe is the vpn why they chose to block all the streams for uk 3.00ko I don’t know not everyone is with the big 6 uk isp so why block for everyone in the uk is a bummer like you say factor in £5-6 pm for vpn and a new router cost and ace becomes quite expensive. Not a fan of vpns at all lots of costumers have low bandwidth in uk and vpns are more trouble than three worth if on low bandwidth great if on fibre so this my only gripe with ace is I’m unable to watch any 3.00ko now witch is a big dealbreaker for me pitty as ace was the most stable service other than infusum that iv used

BringerOfRainX1

Been with Ace over half a year now too and the low bandwidth streams along with stable service is unbelievable. I know they have been having trouble with authorities and that lately having to change things with the EPL but I'm confident they will find a way around it soon. They do not deserve some of the hate they get on here.

Ace is great - I've been using them for over 6 months. There are times when channels are down, however they're fixed pretty quickly. Very rare to have any buffering issues, I'm on a 17 - 18 Mbps connection, however connected via Ethernet...

Sporthull

Isn’t that what 0k2 are doing next week?

Ran a trial of Ace today (fresh Kodi 17.6 install with Ares wizard added in to run a quick advanced configuration), and watched the WWE channel for the last 6 hours straight and through the PPV without the slightest hiccup. No buffering, no kicks to guide, ect.

I was impressed.

kdjac must be that bad on your end only cause here on my end with 100mbps top of line hardware/software it's been great,a few hiccups here and there like any other iptv of this kind, but over all much better then other iptv for sure and i've tested a gazillion, at least Ace doesn't have nothing to hide they give you 24 free trial and most of others give free trial all right but you have to put down some money, they will restrict you to weak days free trial no free trial on weekends, they are shady at most,no paypal payment on most because they fear paypal disputes which give users leverage and most shaddy iptv don't like that, they like to hide behind shaddy bitcoin or credit card no payment disputes. and my advice to you all ,don't be a loon to give away your credit card info to this type of IPTV,Ace iptv has the best and trustword resellers.

Jonnythebull

Wrote a review over a year ago for Ace and now starting my second year with them. Like all IPTV providers they've had a their hiccups but very minor ones at that. Been nothing short of brilliant to be honest.

Ahhh ACE TV where to start? OK, for the most part I thought they were OK, the problem always was when things went wrong. Now I watch a lot of the NFL and the streams were constantly falling over, it was always at some important point as well and this was very annoying. It used to be that you would mention this on a facebook page with the intention of getting it fixed but the site was laughably biased and self congratulatory. All the posts were like "herp derp well done ace u r teh roxxor" if you posted anything negative i.e. truthful, you got banned for "causing trouble". It was genuinely laughable.

Any issues and they would blame your bandwidth / ISP (despite me having gigabit connection) your set up (Nvidia Shield with STB emu) or basically anything that meant they could absolve themselves of responsibility.

The really disappointing moment came when I logged a ticket and they started lying to me, this was when they started blocking the PL games to UK ip addys. They tried to blame my ISP despite it being ACE doing the blocking and only when I called them out did I get a response with a semblance of the truth.

Their catch up on android app didnt work, it would crash your device. The VOD was haphazard and randomly updated.

I hear they are having legal troubles and I wouldnt touch them with a barge pole. Be interesting to see what the relevant peeps would make of them circumventing an agreement by using resellers.

Just received this email:

If you no longer have an active Ace subscription or reseller account, please ignore this email.

We recently announced that Ace was no longer accepting renewals or offering new reseller credits but planned to support existing subscription. Due to mounting legal pressure in the UK we have been forced to change our plans and we are now announcing that Ace will close down at the end of March.

This means that from April 1st onwards the Ace service will no longer work.

Please do not request recommendations for an alternative service, you can google "best IPTV service" for options. Please do not ask if we are rebranding/setting up a new service, the answer is no.

The Ace team wishes you all the best with your next IPTV service.

Best Regards, The Ace Team.

I liked Ace a lot. Their customer service was always good, quick to reply. It sucks they are stopping as of midnight. I do feel a little bitter as I had resubbed 3 weeks ago and that’s money I won’t see again.

mickeyj26
