I first came across IPTV in June 2017 and as usual i was bombarded with trials, PM's the lot. The advice given at the time was try them all see which one works so i went from some ok ones to the truly horrific ones cough rapidIPTV ... anyway, i was sceptical about the whole thing and in Nov i decided to fully invest in this
i went with 3 providers at first .. Epic, Flawless and ACE. i used epic i gave the other 2 to friends and family to see which one was the most reliable and stable ( relatively ). fast forward to today and i must say that ACE is by far and away the closest I've got to a stable provider not only that but the support great too.
Epic is good too but i just didn't like the menu structure for their channels and the support (iptvboss) was a little lacklustre at best but after a slow start i don't have any major complaints. Flawless bless them just had problem after problem but people swear by them but i wasn't prepared to stick around.
So in the midst of all this ACE decided to go underground which had me worried at first as i was about to pull the trigger on a year long subscription but because of this i decided to play it a little safe and go with the quarterly option i think it was around £40 but anyway
In my honest and humble opinion don't bother with the full package and just go for the sports, obviously it depends what you're looking for but in my experience and this is for all the providers i sampled, the vast majority of the non-sports channels you don't know what you will get in terms of reliability as some work and some don't.
Its obvious these providers put all their time and energy into the sports channels and it shows cos lets face it this is where they make their money and if these are down constantly then say goodbye to repeat customers. ACE excelled in this department as i can't remember a time when i had problems with the streams during match days **. i have a 55 inch TV and the FHD quality is 6/10 at best some 3pm channels are really bad but this depends on which team you follow. Burnley v west brom wont have a quality stream as say Man city v liverpool and so on you get the idea.
I don't think there are many channels missing in terms of where to watch sports as the international section has a plethora of channels to choose from that is updated weekly to show which streams/matches they carry. Which brings me to my next point and that is that all users now require a VPN when watching channels that carry EPL in fact you will need a VPN for the whole service now and i don't have a problem with that frankly.
If you are new to IPTV do some reading about VPN before you buy as it will be an added cost. so if you see that it costs £10 a month for iptv you're more than likely have to pay another £5-7 for VPN a month so ask around for which 1 people prefer to use.
in conclusion i pay £7 for the sport only package with ACE and this works fine for me as it has all the channels and i'd like to also add that they have included in this package NBA League pass, NHL, NFL Game Pass and MLB for all you american sports lovers.
Great service hopefully it will continue like this throughout 2018
** i had an issue with Sky Shield buffering my connection as well as my VPN slowing down my internet so i had to choose a closer location.
Ace has been woeful since the start of the year, constant stuttering and most matches unwatchable.
I will be moving on at end of this month.
