Beware of ACE IPTV (NOT GOOD)

by michaelsone92

So, yesterday I decided to give ACE IPTV another chance.. and it was a complete trainwreck.. live stream would buffer every five seconds (my internet is 75/7.5), so an hour and a half after I purchased it.. I opened a case to cancel and receive a refund.. so, next day.. I come on.. and what do you know. my service was cancelled.. with no refund?

So, I opened a ticket... asking for the status of my refund.. and got this reply from this mouth-breather.

We received no request for a refund. Unfortunately, as you are not a new customer, a refund cannot be given.

Please see our refund policy here:

You are outside of the refund window.

Thank you, Lyle

These guys are a bunch of scumbags..

I would highly recommend avoiding them at all costs.

UPDATE: They got mad at me for 'swearing' after they pulled their bullshit, and blocked me from support. Would not recommend a service ran by ten year olds.

This use a VPN is getting so old and dated, no one actually enquires as to where you reside, its just an excuse for poor service.

Tried ace a few months ago. For thirty strait days it buffered so bad it was unusable. Wired, wireless, vpn no vpn, bought a hi power streaming box.. nothing worked.

“Support” said it was just me

Plain and simple, ACE is horrible.

I have a feeling that with Ace it's numbers that cause the issues. They do have a good offering if numbers were controlled. A friend took a test with them and somehow they forgot to set a date on the test line, so it ran for over a month. Anyway cut a long story short, at the time I had a sub with them, and while my channels were buffering constantly, his were normally ok. We live a couple of miles apart, same internet provider, same speeds - Difference - his channels were named backup channels.

I made the mistake of trying it, impressed by the TV quality, little buffering during the trial, but then once I signed up for the year, lots of buffering....I should have seen this forum sooner (running 50/10 internet speed)

Their facebook support page just seemed to be the ''staff'' telling people to power cycle your router. Pretty damn comical really, that lot would have you power cycling your router every couple of hours......seem to be the only thing they ever suggest when there are problems.

I am in UK and had ace for a month, using an enigma2 box I had a few issues with pixelating pictures but after I told them they changed something that fixes it for E2 boxes and it has been ok since. I get the odd occasion where the channel just stops and I need to switch channel and go back again or use one of the other versions of it but I expect that is normal for iptv of this type.

Would prefer if the FHD channels were a higher bitrate and a bit sharper (checking my router the banwidth used seems to be between 3mbps and 6mbps) but again I am not sure any others would be much better.

I dont like the way they send me an "invoice" a week before the sub is due to run out, if I choose to continue the sub then I will pay to extend it, if not then them sending me an "invoice" will make no difference to me, I won't be paying it. If I choose not to extend it at that time, it should just deactivate until I pay to activate it again, but I think it probably cancels it completely, meaning I would need to make a whole new login for it, and contact them again to get them to make the E2 box changes it needs, all for no reason. It isn't the best method for handling renewals.

Couldn't agree less to be honest. Been with ACE about 4 months now and they've been excellent. Both for VOD/live sports. Might sound like I work for em, but I don't.

Either that, or I'm not used to a great IPTV experience!
