After a month With IPTVBoss ..... Disappointed

I'd like to make it very clear that im only giving you MY experience with them.

but anyway... i decided to go with IPTVBoss ( a reseller part of the Epicstream family) after being impressed with what epicstream had to offer.

my first week with them i signed up on a Thursday so all was well for 2 days then comes Saturday the real acid test for any IPTV provider and it didn't go off to a great start.

for the first week the football on sky sports was unbearable but the Arabic channels worked ( sometimes ) so i didn't make a huge fuss.

anyway 2nd week comes and its still the same problems with channels looping missing big moments in a game. ok so now i'm irritated by all this and i'm the most patient person you'll meet so i submit a ticket thinking i'll get a response in an hour at the most. ticket was submitted at 4pm i got a response around 11pm simply asking me to reboot my router.

i'd like to also make clear that i work in IT so things like "reboot the router" doesn't cut it with me, i know my way round troubleshooting things before i seek help.

don't get me started on their facebook group either cos you might as well speak to a brick wall to get any solutions. any time you complain they simply respond with "reported". customer support is so so so bad its not even funny with this reseller. it just comes across as someone whos had enough of people complaining

i'm not going to vilify the whole Epicstream family but if you do go with them i'd probably stay away from IPTVBoss

Hi, Just seeing this. I would love for you to screenshot the conversation we had and the reports you made to the group which was not resolved in a timely manner.

This would validate your claim and make it a true review about iptvboss. I dont mind!!!

All IPTV providers have streams going down. We have an open group where issues are posted and are dealth with. Us resellers have no control to fix streams but we offer support where end user/clients can report to us and we relay that report for the issues to be fixed. Atleast we have a forum where you can be heard and your issues attended to.

Its no secret that many IPTV providers gets blocked during EPL and that VPN is needed during these games.

As it relates to the length of waiting time to respond to the ticket i must apologize but it happens, IPTV Boss is run by one person and depending on the time zone your are in, 4pm could mean 2am for me.

I do know however that if i told you to reboot your Modem its maybe because i thought your IP was blocked and based on the public IP provided, checks would have revealed that its dynamic and a restart of your internet modem would release current IP and give you a new one, which would allow you to stream again if the problem was a blocked IP.

So this review really annoys me. Not for the actual buffering issues you reported - but your other comments instead. I got no problem with negative comments, because no service is perfect and everyone has a right to make noise.

Buffering Issues for Football

You have to realize Epicstream does not own all the streams Unlike other providers we control a lot of USA/CAN streams, but we buy UK Sports from other wholesale providers. This means we just don't have the instant control to fix things. When moderators state "Reported" it means the issue has been raised.

Support

Warning: snarky comment ahead, sorry.
Honestly we are one of the best providers with support in the market. Maybe you prefer to raise support issues and not hear from your provider or an automated reply instead. We have multiple active moderators in the group always responding and helping out others. Maybe you expect further hand holding, in that case we are not the provider.

If you post that you are experiencing buffering, the mods check the stream. If the the buffering is happening for them as well - they usually post "Reported". Which means it has been escalated.

You are in IT

Explain to me how someone is supposed to know about your computer expertise. Next time attach resume please. I am actually not sure what the conversation was, but reboot router is a valid troubleshooting step. While it might be the Step 1 in it, but it is a step 1. Now Imagine if you were someone who knew nothing about computers, would you not sometimes suggest a reboot. Yes you will.

As you can see me my remarks above can sound rude or sometimes come across as arrogant. This is the same way your remarks come like above.

Ultrabox & IPTVBoss goes above and beyond for all its customers. While I can see the frustration with buffering and I can completely understand the post here. What I don't get is the remarks about lack of support or the facebook group being completely useless. Maybe you should make this post on FB and see what other customers have to actually say?

Your expectations of getting a reply 24/7 or right away for a service which you paid $14 is absurd. We don't advertise this, we don't offer it.

I have tons of respect for our customers, I have always been understanding and I get how buffering can be frustrating. What customers need to understand is that is not always in our control. Moderators go over and beyond to try and resolve all issues.

I hope you find another provider which meets your requirements and wish you all the best. I don't think we will be able to meet your requirements.

I can't comment about Boss, but I am with Ultrabox and on the Facebook group. I have never had any issues or been spoken to rudely to by mods. Epicstream has been good so far, like every other IPTV providers they get issues here and there as well.

So far they have been much better then Ace for me and I am a satisfied customer. Let's see if I feel the same in a month or two though, lol

In my personal opinion, expecting a reply within 1 hour doesn't seem realistic dude. Maybe they can do better setting expectations though, like an automated reply saying we will reply to you within these hours, etc. ? Just my 2cents.

Then again as I always say, unhappy with a provider? Time to try the new one lol.

I thought your review a bit harsh but I figure not all service will please all customers.. It just won't happen. I put you with the disgruntled customers (one off customer)... I almost discounted your review.

BUT THEN

You get these great replies from the owner operator/reseller of EPic, proves you are 100% correct and which pretty confirms that you are right! People should definitely stay away from them.....

Seriously, if they spend half the effort typing the response to attack you and actually fix the problem they are better off.

Advice to epic... fighting your customers and arguing with them.. means they will never return.. and in a public forum like this.. new customers may not come..

I am going to add my appreciation of IPTVBoss who helped me quite a bit and very quickly. I have dealt with other resellers who could be very slow in responding. My only issue with Epicstream would be the cost, few bucks more than some others.
