ACE TV Review [Smart TV + Kodi]

by ahomelessguy

It has been a shitty year for some IPTV services, what with DDOS attacks and just general poor customer service. I have been reluctant to try anything recently because my Kodi box is a bit dated, and I wanted something with more ram to assist the buffering that was almost non stop with the services I've tried already.

I checked Reddit regularly, and Facebook, until I was 100% sure of the IPTV service I was going with. Frontrunners were Hero, Ace, and Dreamstreams. I had decided Flawless, Fab and Prime were a no go. This was down to price, compatibility, the ability to add multiroom, and of course, reliability.

ACE TV

First thing I noticed is they have a smooth purchase for a 24hr trial subscription, which is an autobuy using credit/debit card. Others require sending an email.... waiting a day for a reply... etc etc. Not here. I had my account up in two minutes, had my Kodi add-on installing and set up, and Smart TV settings all done within 10 minutes.

The Kodi add-on is easy to configure, and ran perfectly. No dead links. Placeholders for upcoming events. Well laid out links to my required UK and USA stuff, and of course sports. I checked sports out first because this weekend is the start of the EPL (English Premier League)! All required channels were HD and zero buffering. Latency on these streams are superb.

The Smart TV side was equally as easy, set up using Smart IPTV . Kids have been watching Disney Junior non stop, and there hasn't been as much as a slight flutter in the stream. The EPG is accurate and complete.

Other notes...

Upgrading packages is easy.

The VOD is limited but irrelevant considering I have Kodi

Reseller credits can be purchased in the cpanel.

The knowledgebase is great. I never heard of a few of the streaming options until I read about them in there tbh

All your info is emailed, making it easy to get m3u's rigged up via copy/paste. Sounds trivial, but I was on my tablet, so it was helpful having everything copy paste...

I'm struggling to find a negative, so far, and the Mrs has always had some issue with streaming. However, everyone is happy, and all for a tenner a month. £4 cheaper than the rivals who have less features, in fact. After a successful month of TV, no drops on EPL games, and McGregor/Mayweather, our fibre TV sub will be gone.

All in all, 10 out of 10. ACE managed to exceed my expectations. I'll report back if I get any issues during EPL and Box Office stuff. I can't see it happening though 😊

EDIT: ACE offer a free trial through the week (MON-FRI) apparently. Worth mentioning!

Is there a channel list somewhere? I don't see one on the site.

ACE are fantastic, been with them for a while now, after testing many other services. They actually listen to the customer and even keep improving all the time.

I realised recently they have now sky movie channels in full HD, the quality is impeccable, easily the best UK/EU iptv service.

I just got a 24 hour trial from ace about an hour ago and am using it on my dreamlink t1 plus. every link does work, but I have yet to find one that isn't buffering to the point that it isn't watchable. Even in the vod section I tried to stream a movie and it buffered leith in 2 secs of starting. Maybe it's just a bad day for the service, but this has been my experience.

Can also vouch for them. Other than a bad day on the last game of the season (Which I believe affected most, if not all providers) it has been nothing short of incredible for the price.

Thanks for the review. used aff link. Bye bye Fab tv.

One minor complaint: the Bloomberg TV is not the one with market data overlay like most Bloomberg services :(

Redevil1987

can this be setup with dreamlink DOL2 app or Mag??

I subbed to Ace a couple days ago, so far it's been working just fine. I had the audio out of sync on one channel briefly but that's about it. Installed ace, perfect player and ipvanish on a fire stick.. haven't put it on my android box yet due to time constraints, will do that tomorrow.

Edit: im a couple weeks into it now, and it's become pretty useless. Buffers constantly, kicks me back to the Guide, just unusable a complete waste of money.

I'm interested in purchasing an ACE IPTV subscription. I went to their website and I see that they only accept credit cards. What's the safest way to purchase a subscription? I'm in the united states. I really don't want to use my credit card directly. Thanks for any suggestions.

How does the live events like PPV, Basketball and Football are like?

I would recommend getting a VPN for any iptv service right now, as the clamps have started coming down on UK EPL games ☺

Ace TV is fantastic in my opinion. switched from sportsmania due to renewal issues and found streaming to be a lot better. Try the 6 month or year pass.No buffering or vpn needed unlike most iptv services which is a massive plus for me. https://ace-tv.co.uk/aff.php?aff=373
