I've used FABIPTV for ~2 months or so now. In the beginning they were great. Everything worked fine. But something have happened these last weeks.
There's more channels but lots of channels have started to lag. Nothing have changed on my side so there must be something up with their servers.
So FABIPTV, stop adding more crappy channels. Quality over quantity. The other day I had to restart the stream several times when I was watching some basket game.
This didn't happen ever before.
I was getting a lot of buffering starting a couple weeks ago. I started using a VPN which seems to have fixed it for now.
Same situation here. Reached out to support and they said no issues on their end. Nevertheless, my set up did not change and I am getting a lot of freezing. Additionally and as mentioned above, EPG started having issues. I am running all on TVH server with LibreElec OS on Pi3. Throttling by ISP is BS as I have other providers set up the same TVH server and all is fine. The CDN and latency might be the case with FAB, but even if throttled to 2-3 mbs, it is enough bandwidth with good ping to server. Hopefully FAB fixes it as service used to be good and folks behind the project are good people.
Edit: 5 Aug 2017. Seems like EPG is back up. Most channels work great. AHC channel still stutters and that's one of my favorite.
Make sure you are using the proper decoder. Stb emulator try swapping to exo. perfect Player try swapping to HW+ and HW instead of auto.
Sadly many devices cannot handle our higher quality 60fps streams. Also some ISP may throttle traffic. Good luck and let us know where we can help
I been customer for 1 month. There was 1 week where it was lagging daily and most channels. When I submitted ticket on website, they said everything was fine..sure buddy.
I have decided to give another try for 3 months. will see.
Pathetic service for Premier League Kick Off today. Missed a thriller. Smoothstreams is the way to go for football.
and I read last night all of their channels carrying the fight were buffering and not watchable. Sad to see them have continuous problems.
How are fab looking at the moment? Havent seen the usual outpouring of anger recently
Yea, and the service is shite
I saw some issues as well. I was running Perfect Player. Completely thought it was on their end.
Turns out they upgraded the quality of the streams to 1080 and some 60fps. and my device was not capable.
Upgraded to a better device.. got a Mag 256 and a NS and all issues went away. SO if you had issues try another device and ISP, VPN.
Streams are perfect and the sports corner with smooth streams is great.
I been on their forums.. may people doing fine.
