So I assume the "other reviewer" you are refering to is me so let me clarify a little bit.

  1. I am sorry that you have had a bad time getting responses from the Facebook group. I was asked to provide an honest review, which I did. I have had nothing but great support and almost instant answers on Facebook. I did not realise that to be an honest review it had to fit your experience. I will be sure to include a disclaimer in this post in case your opnion differs.

  2. The original Facebook post looking for reviews did in fact mention you would get something. In fact I was offered one month free service for the review. My response was to not worry about the free month as I enjoyed the service so much I would be fine paying for it./u/fr0-z3n can back this up

Most people like myself tend to not think about leaving reviews. Sometimes it takes being asked to do this, it is common amongst all businesses. I dont see asking for reviews an issue at all whether or not something is included.

With all that said I still maintain that it is a great service. If you are unsure just do a trial.

So I have been keeping an eye on this thread since yesterday. I did not want to jump and post something quickly and play into the trap. This was a poorly planned and immature effort to bash Epicstream and a personal attack on me. You had no reason to try hide your identity, unless you were afraid of the lies you were posting here.

Nice job Mr.Competition for “pretending” to be a user here. I already know who you are and I have already confronted you via a PM. Now unlike other providers, I have never bashed other providers on Reddit, Facebook or even a private message to my customers. I will not go down to that level, the market is big enough for everyone to succeed.

Let’s take care of all the strikes you mentioned here. I hope you know how to play baseball, because I am about to hit a home run.

Who am I?

I am a one of the largest Resellers and PowerSeller of Epicstream and I work work directly with Epic. As a Powerseller it is my job to support my customers and provide feedback directly to Epicstream. I relay the customer feedback, requests and my personal suggestions everyday to Epicstream. Epicstream does not sell direct to any customer, period, end of story. Do I have an in? ** Yes.**

Let’s clear this, am I Epicstream? No.
Am I a direct Power seller of Epicstream? Yes.
Do I have a direct relationship and influence in Epicstream? Yes.
Are you a complete moron for posting this fake review on Epicstream? Hell YEA!

For the folks who don’t know, Epicstream is the provider for most of the gorgeous USA/CAN streams you watch on multiple providers. These streams exist on multiple providers as they have purchased the rights to use the stream. In the end they are still controlled and managed by Epicstream.

Some recent examples of where I clearly mentioned on Reddit that I am a Reseller. Customer's may mistakenly think I am Epicstream because I am a Powerseller and have a line of communication with Epic.

Let’s break it down. Was one of my customers unhappy? Yes sure, it is on Facebook still, so? I fully refunded the customer via e-mail because Epicstream did not meet the requirements of what they were looking for. I have nothing to hide, no hidden agenda, I don’t make fake promises and I don’t lie. If a customer is unhappy they can ask for a full refund, I don’t know any other provider that offers this. Epicstream will not always meet every customer need; this is why multiple providers exist. I just don’t get it… what was the big shock or whistle blower secret here?

Yes, I requested my existing customers to post a review on Reddit. I made this request in public on my Facebook group with 500+ members – I didn’t try to hide anything Mr.Whiteblower. I also clearly asked members to post an honest review. In the screenshot posted by you, at the end it says “I am not going to ask you to post a positive review. I am going to provide you a review “structure”, the type of rating is up to you completely”.

Maybe I was a little naïve in not requesting customers to put a legal disclaimer. Customers who took the time to post a review were offered a 1-month free Epicstream subscription – regardless of what the review said. Yes, I offered it to the customers as an incentive to post an honest review about Epicstream, but I did not offer the free month for a positive review.

You can try to twist this, but that was not the intention or the outcome. Customers had the complete power of posting a review that they deemed was accurate. Two out of the four reviews posted after my request did not take the free month, they posted it because they were happy with the service and support.

Strike Two

I have never promised anyone a channel. I always tell my customer, I will see if it is readily available to be added. If there is enough demand for a channel and it is actually available, then yes it can be added.

As for what was added because of me?

MLB Package was added because of my request
Timeshift selections are directly connected to the poll done on Ultrabox FB group
VOD TV Shows are added because of Ultrabox FB Group

I do not advertise Epicstream as a provider that will add channels based on customer requests. We already have a solid lineup of USA, CAN, UK, French, Arabic, Sports, PPV, VOD, etc – over 800 HD Channels!!

I would absolutely LOVE to add every single channel the customer wants, but financial and technical limitations can come in the way.

LOL! Nope, you are mistaken "Mr.Whistleblower". This review is going to make me step it up a notch. Thank you for this fake review and a lame attempt to bash the services I provide.

I just signed up with Epicstream and Fab, and I can say Epicstream support is awesome and the channel lineup is amazing. No idea why this thread even exists. I am guessing jealous competition?

You know what bothers me about a post like this? Its just trolling.

I mean, /u/fr0-z3n didn't hide the fact he was asking for reviews on reddit. He posted it publicly on his Facebook page, that he links to right here on reddit, for anyone to see. This isn't some hidden agenda. He's trying to promote his product and asked for HONEST reviews from existing customers. Businesses do this all the time! How many times have you stayed at a hotel and been asked to post a review on Tripadvisor for some extra rewards points? Happens all the time. Customer reviews are an excellent form of advertising...AS LONG AS YOU HAVE A GOOD PRODUCT!

If the product is crap, then reviews aren't going to help you.

In fact, even this troller admits the product offered by Epicstreams is a good one, saying that "The streams are generally reliable and works pretty well."

So what's wrong with asking publicly for customers to spread the word on that? If the service matches the reviews and they aren't faked, I don't understand the issue.

I have subscribed to epicstreams through /u/fr0-zen for about 2 months now. I saw his thread on fb asking for reviews but I didn't respond. He made a mistake by not asking his reviewers to disclose they are receiving a gift. He made a few other posts in the days prior which led me to believe he was actively seeking out new subscribers so I think he was just trying to get a few reviews out there to help in those regards. In the 2 months I've used his streams they have been pretty good. I'm happy with the service and will continue to renew. There are some EPG problems here and there, and sometimes a channel will go down or a stream will buffer excessively, so it's not 100% perfect but it's not enough of a problem for me to consider switching. There hasn't been any problems with a sporting event which is mostly what I care about. I have gotten replies to support questions usually within an hour but the most has been about 12 hours. I've never sent a message that wasn't replied. I haven't seen a fb post go that didn't get a reply.

I guess when the main complaint is based on how he incentiivized his reviews that speaks volumes towards the actual service and support.

I just want to clear some things up on this post:

I am one of the users that was asked to leave a review and offered the gift. I still intend to leave the review and am not expecting to get a gift in return. I would have done the review anyway as the service is great and do not expect a gift in return. And we were never asked for a positive review, just an honest one.

I signed up to the trial and ended up signing up for a month and intend to sign up again and again.

The streams are very stable and high quality. The customer service on facebook is great and any delays in response are small and expected. I have reported channels not working and have had a response and a resolution in a respectable time.

This service is great, dont listen to someones smear campainge, and if you do look at the actual review in it, not the personal attack against the seller.

Guys, this review is just ridiculous. There's always going to be trolls complaining.

I haven't used epic extensively myself, but when I did had nothing but good things to say about it, and the members behind it.

A Facebook group is not a requirement of any service or reseller. By putting a Facebook account out there they are taking responsibility and their own reputation on the line, to better service their own customers. This in itself removes a strike against them.

Im sorry if you feel their responses aren't as fast as it should be, but 90 percent of the time the problem is user error, and the other 10 person there's nothing that can be done anyways. Feel free to get a legit sub and call your cable company when you have issues.

Additionally, I've had the opportunity to bring some great bundles, deals, and even set top box giveaways through a local subreddit. Epic was one of the few providers/resellers that stepped up to the plate with donations with nothing asked in return. They did this just to help our iptv community grow.

While I don't use epic myself (yet), I stand behind them and respect them for everything they do here.

If other providers were half as good, we'd have some serious competition going on.

My review is full of facts that no one has dis-proven yet.

  • Did he paid for reviews? Yes he did with "gifts"
  • Has you ever added a channel request or a VOD? No, not one.
  • Does he talk like he has a lot of power, control, influence over Epic? Yes he does talk it up but never delivered.

Sadly, my review is probably the most accurate one here. Not like the paid epicstream ones.

So please continue to attack me the whistle blower and ignore that I have reported facts and only facts.

You guys do realize that new people come here to look at IPTV reviews... shouldn't they know they are reading a paid review?

List the reasons why you would actually subscribe to a provider, and what your needs are, and you'll find that EpicStream meets or exceeds in all areas. When you fully realize the nature of the IPTV beast, you'll understand that none are perfect. In my case I am pleased with the level of service I am getting and the value for the cost.

I am a little confused by this review. Is Epic it's own standalone service - or is it really just a re-seller of another service?

I personally am using EpicStreams and have had little issues. In fact, I appreciate how transparent they are in the FB group. I am going to write a good review up for them as i've tried way worse with way worse customer service.

Many providers have asked their users to write a review here - nothing new. Just next time do not offer something in return. Simple as that.
I have nothing against re-sellers. The more people are involved and introduced to iptv the more quality and variety we will see in the end. But sometimes re-sellers tend to act like they are the real providers. Same thing was with smoothsteams subreddit where the re-seller acted as part of the actual team while he really was not. That being said - resellers usually put more effort into helping people out and take the shit from customers.
Anyway i think frozen will reply to this thread at some point and clarify if needed.
